Very happy with the staff , techs & veterinarians that have taken care of my cats. The Banfield pet insurance plan helps save $$ ..diagnosis, teeth cleaning etc

Made an appointment as my dog smells like he has a UTI. He had one a few years ago and another Banfield location had me collect the sample and they tested it, and prescribed antibiotics. They were booked up, so came to this location. They said the doctor would not use the sample I brought in and I wanted to charge me to put a needle in his bladder, to draw some urine. They had test strips they could have used on the sample I brought, but said the doctor doesn’t like those. I asked if the doctor could come and talk to me. She would not! We don’t have time for this run around and incompetence, so took the sample to another vet. Don’t go here to unless you want poor service and care for your pet.

Says they’re open til 6, but closed at 4:45. This has happened multiple days over the course of 2 weeks.

Says open til 5, but recording at 4:10 says office is closed. Banfield is not the place it used to be, very disappointing. Have two dogs on wellness plan, we all need to cancel and find new vets.

This place is amazing! From Courtney at the front to Lydyana the VT, and Dr Flessner, this is the place to go for concise, clear and compassionate care. Thank you so so much. If you're furry friend needs ANYTHING, you MUST come here.

One lady on the phone told me she would squeeze me into an appointment Saturday at 3:45 my call got disconnected and I immediate called back the next person who clearly has a mental illness answered the phone and when I told her I was trying to make an appointment immediately snapped at me they couldn't take my cats today in a rude tone. I told her I wasn't done speaking I was looking for Saturday. She told me a Saturday months out that was available. I told her I would find another vet. She was so unprofessional rude and even told me I couldn't come in before the visit months out to pick up de wormer and snarled to her coworker this person wants to pick up dewormer and not come in

Great Banfield! Super friendly and genuinely helpful staff. Office was easy to find, very clean with excellent communication.I left out a star though. Would have been five stars- there’s been some difficultly scheduling dental extractions for Django. We live and travel in a motor coach and we have been to Banfield offices in WA, UT and AZ.I was told that the records on file would be accessible at any and all Banfield offices. That isn’t ringing true. Not much time has passed since we discovered Django had painful reabsorption of his molars. The problem is that the schedule for oral surgery is full for at least two months! We would have stayed in WA to have the surgery but we had other obligations so we’re here in AZ until late spring. It’s been a handful of days and I haven’t heard whether or not they can access and use the existing x-rays.I use the wellness plan for both kitties and it’s been wonderful. I don’t have any issue bringing Django back for X-rays, but we do have to travel south to Phoenix to see the vet. That requires a place to park the RV- this time of year is particularly expensive in Scottsdale so we try to stealth camp, if possible. While the kitties do love to travel it’s a struggle to find a balance. Juggling records, vaccinations, medications and surgery schedules is something I pay Banfield to do through the Wellness Plan.Overall though I believe that we made the right decision to be seen at this particular Banfield.I believe that there’s a dozen or more Banfield locations in and around Phoenix- some have higher rating on Google than others. This office could be a five star ⭐️ location. Will update when we get the procedure done. ??

At first I used Banfield just for standard check ups but with my cat getting older she has required a few procedures. I did get the pet insurance and thank goodness as pet care can get pricey. I have not had a single issue with any procedure and Lilly is doing great. You can tell that the staff truly love animals.

Great team! Feel very confident in leaving my scaredy cat with them. Appreciate the recommendation for monthly health plan as it has saved $$$

I have had nothing but great experiences here at this location. From Dr. Flessner to the front desk staff, always welcoming, smiling and helpful. They have accommodated schedules as best they can, got her in next day for ear infection, and extremely helpful on the follow up calls and details when I have questions or concerns. Worth the drive for me, as I haven't had this kind of care at a local location (Mesa/Chandler area). Lucy doesn't like appointments but is handled with care and I am grateful for the service and kindness we are treated with here!

It's a little hectic and not organized well especially if really busy. Only a few make the care noticeable. Dr Kashman made a great first impression as was my first time there. Michael is an amazing Tech and really cares and knowledgeable .

Stopped in to make a payment on my account, the girl at the front desk was clicking away then said it wouldn’t let her make a payment unless I signed back up for another wellness plan. I said no thanks and she walked into the back for clarification and came out and told me my plan some how is starting again today which I did not ask for nor is it set up for an auto set up and all she said was to call corporate and I had to call 2 different corporate numbers as one was for billing to make my payment and second to cancel said plan I didn’t sign up for. Horrible service and would not recommend.

They were able to make time to see my pet! It's so hard to get an appointment anywhere nowadays. Most vets have availability 2 weeks - 2 months out!Online they didn't have any availability but I called them to ask if they had any cancellations or availability. They said they would be able to get me in the next day for a drop off appointment. Went in the next day (today) and they actually had me wait for my dog while she was getting seen. It was quick. Overall, I appreciate their willingness to squeeze us in. The front desk to the vet tech to the veterinarian were all amazing. One last thing to worry about today. Thank you

I called for advice after my pet ate a couple grapes who, at the moment, was feeling ok. I was very disappointed that the woman who answered the phone went straight to giving me the poison control number without even telling me why she was giving me the number or much less if I was even ready with a pen to take down the number. I wanted to make an appointment and give them business not to be pushed to the next person and not be told why.

Do not, under any circumstances, trust this place with your pets. The front desk staff has had a serious attitude problem every single time I've interacted with them, they are seriously disorganized, and they do not seem to care about your pets well-being. My cat that was seen here has hyperthyroidism and is diabetic. This animal "hospital" is not up to date on the AAHA guidelines for diabetic cat care and is therefore dangerous for my cat. Everything is a battle with these people for no reason at all. My insulin syringes for my cat through Chewy got denied by Banfield since the cat hasn't been in since last year. Essentially, they don't want my cat to get his insulin, necessary to survive, unless they're making constant money off of him through needless checkups. After caring for medically complex cats for over 10 years and being involved in rescues I'm more than experienced enough to know when the cat needs a vet, and smart enough to save my money for those times.
