I recently purchased a GMG Ledge from Josh. He was very helpful. I was so excited. When I went to unbox it. There was damage to the grill and front shelf. I let Josh and Terry know. They are replacing it with a new one. I really appreciate their service and help. I will definitely be going back to them for my BBQ needs and advice. Thanks Fellas.Eddie Murrietta

We found out some parts for the griddle were purchased from Home Depot. We had to pay a outside company to install the equipment and a different company to inspect that install. The bbq grill top is uneven and the cover is irregular and does not fit. We called to ask them to fix all this, crickets. When you pay $17,000 for BBQ equipment you'd think they could get these things right or at bare minimum fix the issue.

Just bought a brand new $$$ pizza oven… asked for a clean burning fire starter that would not leave a Residue… they sold me B&W flat wood fire start…. Black soot like you would not believe completely the exact opposite of what I ask for…. Make sure they have some experience of product before you buy.

I needed a specialized propane hose and grill connector setup. I went to multiple plumbing supply stores, but did not get the solution that I was looking for. I went to BBQ Island and the staff there figured out what I needed quickly and had the parts. They were very helpful!

Great, honest staff that took their time to help us work through a purchase on a Green Egg. They didn't try to just push every accessory vs. thoughtful about those you need getting started. They also offered the best price in the area.

Great place for all of your bbq and outdoor kitchen needs. Josh Dae here knows his stuff, plus the rest of the staff is great as well. Customer service is outstanding. I had an issue from the manufacturer and it was solved in a matter of days. They have a great selection from gas to electric pellet to charcoal. Prices are fair however what you get is excellent know how which cannot be found anymore in this day and age. Shop local and save yourself the headaches.

I walked into BBQ Island as a newb to smoking meats. I was guided down the road of my first purchase of a green mountain grill about 5 years ago. Josh and the team steered me in the right direction with food prep, cooking and some great tips on how to turn out quality meat. The experience and passion of the team towards their customers is unmatched in any retail place I have shopped. What started out as a customer walking through their door has turned into a friendship and brotherhood in the bbq world but also my personal life. Josh and his team and all the other stores have been an asset in taking my cooking to a whole new level. They are my family and my wife has named the crew "bbq bros". They have earned my business and just recently planned a whole outdoor kitchen with equipment through them. Can't wait to up my level to the next game with all my outdoor kitchen equipment.

I visited BBQ Island (on Northsight in Scottsdale) and I was impressed with their showroom (lots of products to review) and staff (friendly). The staff was also knowledgeable and the grill model I wanted was in stock. The side burner was not. They quoted a price and warranty. Price $1,629.00 for AEEP-26NG that is a 26" Artisan American Eagle Series. And it is made in America -- in California! The warranty was good: Life time for burners, 10 years for Stainless Steel and 1 year parts and service. I asked to review the warranty and they had a laminated card and nothing else. I removed my old built-in grill, measured the cutouts. I went back to BBQ Island and met with a different person. They showed how easy the installation would be if I wanted to do it myself. The person also told me they had three side burners in stock. They had just arrived. So why not give BBQ Island 5-stars? I called during my break (11:00) on a Wednesday and said I wanted just the grill and would be by after work to pick it up. That's when I learned "in stock" met I could not pick it up until Friday. That was a surprise. In stock means it is in stock in their warehouse. They called at 1:30 PM on Friday to tell me it arrived. So I go, pay for it and have it loaded. Here I learn the terms and conditions (as printed on the Sales Order) and I quote "All returns MUST HAVE SALES RECEIPT. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase , you may return the unused item(s) in the original unopened packing within 15 days of the purchase for a refund. You will be credited the purchase price, less a 25% restocking fee and the applicable shipping charges" There is another surprise. I don't like surprises. The unit is in a cardboard box and if you open it you can't return it. At least that is how I read the terms and conditions. And a 25% restocking fee... $407.25 in this case (hefty restocking fees seems to be an industry practice). The last line of the terms and conditions is and I quote "Warranties are subject to factory policies and limitations. Please check your manufacturer's warranty." So I did, after opening the box... 15 years -- Stainless Steel Burners 10 years -- All Stainless Steel Parts 3 years -- Ceramic Briquette Trays (Briquettes excluded) 1 year -- Complete warranty -- All parts and labor (Batteries when applicable are excluded). So they were wrong about the warranty. The burners are not covered for their life time -- just for 15 years. Another surprise. Still I only knocked them down a point for the surprises. I checked out two BBQ Island competitors and visited Home Depot, Ace Hardware and Amazon. The staff at BBQ Island was the best I spoke to about purchasing a new grill. And I like that the grill is made in the USA. It is installed and looks beautiful.

Above and beyond exceptional customer service!!! Josh is a superstar when it comes to knowledge of products and grilling. He listens to what we needed and was helpful with the selection process. Just as importantly, he and BBQ Island stand behind the products they sell.Almost a year after we bout our bbq, we had an issue with our grill days before a big party. When the replacement part and repair couldn’t happen in time for our barbecue, Josh went above and beyond by delivering to our house their store demo to use for the weekend. He saved our bbq party! This type of exceptional customer service is difficult to find these days.We can’t recommend more highly Josh and BBQ Island!!!If there were six stars they would definitely receive them. Thank you Josh and the Scottsdale team of BBQ Island. Customer for life.
