Amanda is the reason I keep coming back for more! I love the products of course but my shopping trips wouldn’t be nearly as pleasant without her. Super knowledgeable and kind I always have a nice time shopping here because of her.

Nice selection of brands, but on my last 2 visits I was completely ignored - not even acknowledged when I entered or left despite plenty of staff standing around. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

My two daughters and I went shopping for lipgloss to blue mercury In Kierland on March 18, 2023. We had a wonderful time testing products all over the store. One middle aged dark blue haired lady employee tried to approach me with extra supervision that I have refused and said to her that someone else is helping us. Once we were finished choosing our final products which were 4 different lipglosses and one lipstick that lady has approached me again but this time she was very pushy and rude. She started with the phrase: "I have to take control over the situation." she said. I told her that we don't need her help. She continued with a lengthy description of what she has to do to disinfect everything that we have tested. I asked her if she is complaining about my kids and I shopping. She said no. Then she continued to talk to me in a rude voice about how my kids were testing products. I said they were using samples and followed the instructions that the other (nice) employee provided to us. And asked her again if she was complaining. She said no. She continued to make me feel uncomfortable until I gave her all the products back that were worth $250 and left the store. Very rude. I felt very uncomfortable disrespected and discriminated because she went after my kids. Made the whole shopping experience so awful. On the brighter side... She saved me so much money! I came home and ordered the same products on Amazon and paid half the price!!! Bottom line: didn't enjoy the store experience but tried the products I wanted. I guess I could thank this rude controlling employee who made me want to leave the store because she saved me so much money! Bad customer service. Really love the store but employees like her make it really difficult to come back.

I went into Bluemercury today at Kierland. I was looking at which brands they have in the store. I walked around and asked the price of a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow. I didn't see the price until after asking. I said oh, that's not bad. The salesperson didn't ask if I would like to purchase the item. She immediately turned and went to help another customer who had just arrived in the store. I found this rude. I know I had jeans on, but I guess I didn't reflect her desired clientele. I shop at Kierland all the time. This is the first store to have the salesperson turn their back on me and walk off. Needless to say, I won't shop at this store.

I really don't understand why the Kierland Blue Mercury cannot seem to find customer service oriented staff. When they opened years ago it was awesome. The store manager was key and the ladies and gentleman were outstanding. Over the years a few wound up going to camelback, Kierland's loss but aside from the manager who was always a standout caring professional who enjoyed being there, 90% of the staff just seem like they don't understand that human beings are buying makeup, skin and hair care. Being nice isn't so hard. It is an off feeling when the person helping you stares consistently in another direction, and gives a facial moisturizer sample the size of a pea. Really? And that was on just one visit. Won't say about the second. I'm glad for the old manager who went on to enjoy her life and follow different passions but this store feels like walking into a cemetery. And in an answer to my initiating question, after reading Glassdoor they are probably just not happy there. So sad this place should be booming but with the newest complete staff turnover it is worse than ever. As a google review asked, 'How does this place stay in business?' I must wonder the same thing. My wish to the workers, your behavior shows you don't care. But if you don't care and aren't happy please leave. Maybe by a stroke of luck your absence might bring in someone who actually wants to work there, who cares about others and enjoys this kind of work!

I've always had a good time here. Some salespersons are more knowledgeable than others but everyone I have dealt with have been friendly and helpful.

I have shopped at several blue mercury stores over the years.I went in to buy several items and needed help with a brand I was not familiar with.The man that came over was super rude. Would not answer any of my questions and just shrugged when I asked for suggestions on what products he would recommendI ended up not spending any money and left very disappointed in this experienceI do no plan on returning to the particular store ever.

I visit this store about 1-3 times a year and usually purchase something when I do, despite the fact that the people working there are not very helpful. I went there today with the intention of restocking my Darphin skincare and the two employees did not even acknowledge my existence—not even a hello. I don’t like phony or pushy salespeople but they honestly made me feel worthless. I decided they were probably that way with everyone but when a lady came in after me, they were fawning all over her because she was one of their “regulars.” I have been to nicer shops in far more interesting cities where the sales associates were kind and made you feel special even if you only purchased a pencil. These people need to get over themselves! I will never return to this store.

I love the women at the BlueMercery at the Kierlands. I was introduced to my favorite foundation, which is Lune Ester, it looks like your own skin but better. Plus it has really good vitamins and other skincare built into it to help w/uneven skin tone, anti-aging skin products, plus a sun block which you really can't do with out here in AZ. They carry very high end brands. Did I say this is my favorite makeup store? These women know their brands. So they can really help you.

I love this place! Blue Mercury sells some of the best products I have found. I love that they don't overload their shelves with non quality items mixed in with the good ones. They don't just sell whatever. I have found that all the products are top of the line and most have clean ingredients. The store is clean and inviting and not too "trendy" or trying to be too "hip" (lol if you know what I mean)
