Bridwell is always reliable and helpful. We find them to be honest and reasonably priced. They give us all the options and don’t push the most expensive one. Small repairs and top ups were even done for free and repairs were done well. Bridwell is knowledgeable and patient taking the time to explain things. Hard to find good old fashioned service anymore.

Excellent service! They got me in same day, had the repair done well within the timeframe they told me, and the fix turned out to be quick, easy and cheap! I'm very happy.

Smooth from start to finish, they were able to cut my BMW repair bill in half from what the dealership quoted. Will be using them for all of our cars in the future.

Daughter's vehicle broke down. She was stuck. Jeff got everything repaired as needed. He also was attentive to complete items that could need service since he had things disassembled (like charging A/C). Friendly, knowledgeable, cared about being of service. New go to auto shop!

I had taken my vehicle there for a tune-up and oil change. They claimed my battery was leaking and it needed replacing. Being naive, I went ahead and got it replaced.Afterwards, I discovered the battery had a warranty, and I could have taken it to Toyota for a free replacement, had anything been wrong. The oil change was out of range for just about anybody in The Valley. And despite me refusing to ever go back, they constantly hounded me with mailings to make an appointment. I called them, explaining I wanted off their list ASAP; and, all the owner did was (LITERALLY) laugh at me over the phone.Whatever you do, don't get your vehicle serviced from Bridwell Automotive! They will con you.

Got an overpriced estimate for items that needed to be repaired on my Audi SQ5 at the dealership. Bridwell came in at a lower price then them plus 4 other mechanics I got quotes from. Although it took a few days to get the parts they used Audi manufactured parts (brake pads and rotors and oil housing) to fix the issues at 1/2 the price. Would highly recommend them and will be back in the future.Services: Engine repair

Took a couple tries to get vehicle in for oil change as they do 1st come, 1st serve. It is not a quick place/ big place with lobby where i could wait for oil change. I work close by and that was fine for me. The staff is friendly and I felt confident leaving my "baby" with them. I will definitely go back!Service: Oil change

We will no longer take our vehicles to Bridwell Automotive for three reasons:1. - They could not give me (woman) a quote for an oil change and filters. So I left them my vehicle thinking, it is an oil change, how bad can it be?2. - The cost was a surprise at $309.00… for nothing more than 8 quarts of oil and 2 filters…3.- Snarky comments like, “the filter didn’t change itself” in reference to the cabin filter.I felt ripped off and patronized; neither of those feelings left me wanting more. When I asked why it cost so much, he said, I asked for “special oil”. I asked for Mobil synthetic, not liquid gold. It costs $37 at Amazon for FIVE quarts. Then I got charged for the cabin filter that “didn’t change itself” $115.50. This is not a European vehicle, it’s an American vehicle. It’s obvious that they think poorly of women and feel justified to charge whatever they want. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else where you can get an estimate prior to doing the work and where you don’t get insulted, while they are robbing you.

In response to the business' reply, there is no need to call back. It has been repaired properly at another location. Thanks for responding to the post, but I noticed you said nothing about the attitudes of your staff and merely restated my remarks. This was obviously not a good fit.Family member took their car there, paid for a diagnostic and was told it was the oxygen sensor. They paid $500+ for that and the diagnostic, drove the car home (15 minutes away) and didn't go back out until 2 days later. After driving for about 30 minutes that day, the engine light comes on. They have the vehicle towed back to them. After waiting for quite awhile and no contact, they called Bidwell and the nonchalant service manager said it would be $1400 to replace the catalytic convertor. Was told that light wasn't showing when they did the original test and this was something else. Funny, it wasn't an issue before (and those parts are near one another). Needless-to-say, they picked up their vehicle (they said the staff was subpar) and left. They purchased some Cataclean to get them by until they could find another shop and the check engine light went away and the car began driving just fine. Not sure if that is merely a temporary fix or not, but it saved them $1400 and having to deal with a questionable business.
