Officially called them and had to ask for a refundAbsolute nightmare. This experience was so negative that I’m just asking for a refund 5 months after purchase.Ruined all of my engagement and wedding plans for the year because they just don’t care to keep their word, or do anything they say they will after they have your money.

Terrible company. They are a bunch of woke entitled people who turned what was meant to be a special occasion buying an engagement ring into a terrible experience. Ended up buying elsewhere and better priced. Don’t waste your time with these crooks.

I am writing this for anyone considering getting an engagement ring from here. I got engaged this October and had to have my ring resized, to my horror I found out they ship the rings and don't repair locally. Not only that but there is no communication in the process to know how it's going and when I would get it back, I had to continually call in. You don't even speak to anyone in the showroom it's a call center and they act concerned but can't actually do anything to help you. This Christmas Eve I woke up and an accent stone had fallen out. I've only had this ring for 2 months!!!! So again it will have to be sent out and I will have to be without my ring for a month or longer. If I had known they sent all their work out to a different state with no ability to expedite anything I would have definitely gone somewhere else. My ring is beautiful but I don't feel like I even get to enjoy this time because of these issues. We have a short engagement too so it is a huge bummer to have to part with it again. That being said my ring is beautiful, ethically sourced, and they have decent insurance options. Their jewelry is beautiful and you get a free gift with a purchase but I would highly recommend finding somewhere that repairs locally. Super disappointed.Update. I did get my ring back in less time than anticipated.

We have been customers of Brilliant Earth for well over a decade and recently started going to go to the Showroom at the Scottsdale Quarter. Previously, we worked with the Flagship store in San Francisco (remotely, we never physically went to the store). One thing that has kept us going back is the customer service and quality of the products (I do miss their vintage collection, so I hope it returns someday-- we enjoyed this method of selecting jewelery as it avoids waste altogether).The customer service at the Scottsdale showroom has not disappointed, everyone has been very friendly and extremely helpful. I had about 63827272 questions bc I wanted to order a pair of earrings for my young child. They remembered me from a visit a couple of weeks ago and were so kind to my kid.***Note that if you are having something designed or working with an heirloom quality piece, I would call ahead of time for an appointment. ***

Very limited in store products (not really meant for in store shopping). Very focused with online orders + shopping. We walked in and there were 2 associates with helping other customers. So we waited for one of them to be available. We ended up waiting 25 minutes and then another couple walked in and an associate assisted them first... which didn't feel very respectful so we ended update leaving the store as we didn't feel acknowledged nor cared for. I wouldn't recommend an experience like that for others but could have been an off day for the store

Loved a setting but the communication with the "design jeweler" for the "custom" halo is non existent. I have to talk to level 1 customer service rep who says they'll reach out in about 6 weeks to see if I like what they put together.

My partner and I made an appointment to start the process of looking at different engagement ring options, and we just had the BEST experience at this Scottsdale location this weekend. It was so easy to schedule the appointment online, and they asked us ahead of time for our preferences so they had some gemstones pulled and ready for us to look at together. The office and showroom are absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean (they also have water and chocolates in the waiting area- nice perk!) and we were immediately greeted and treated with such great customer service the entire time. Kaycee is the best of the best and was so knowledgeable on the different styles, gemstones, metal materials, and settings, and she helped us get sized and designed our perfect ring! We also really appreciated how no one tried to sell us on anything, it was very much just an appointment tailored to us and our needs, and we couldn't be more happy with the experience. If you have any doubts at all, make an appointment and go visit the showroom yourself because there's nothing to lose and you'll walk away feeling so much more informed. We will be Brilliant Earth customers for life!

I have created several BEAUTIFUL rings over the past two years with the help of the Scottsdale Brilliant Earth team - Christine Papadopoulos is an incredible resource for understanding gemstones! My favorite is a tri-colored Tourmaline. I love having so many options! From the setting, to the metal type, to a beautiful assortment of gemstones, diamonds (lab and natural), and a multitude of stone shapes and sizes-the options feel limitless. Knowing every piece I've created supports a company focused on sustainability makes me feel great about my choice of jewelers.

We purchased an engagement ring from Brilliant Earth July 22, 2021. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the center stone was loose. I made an appointment at the Brilliant Earth in Scottsdale Arizona on 8/24/23 at 4:15. When I arrived the sales associate immediately told me "oh, this is definitely a manufacture's defect, I am so sorry. You can tell the diamond was not set properly as the prongs are uneven." She assured me that she would put in the request to replace the setting completely and reset the diamond but it would take 4 weeks. A few days later we received a call from Brilliant Earth saying the diamond was loose due to wear and tear and we would need to pay for a repair. I work from home and don't do any strenuous activity while wearing the ring. They agreed to complete the repair at no charge but not replace the setting. We received the ring back 9/7 and two days later, the center stone was loose. I called Brilliant Earth requesting a refund and the agent told me he would put in the request. I then got a call from another agent saying a refund is out of the question and to send the ring in again for another repair. None of the associates are on the same page, and they all promise something different with no resolve. We paid a lot of money for a ring that constantly needs repair. In their 2022 mission report they quoted "Designed to Last a Lifetime - We incorporate sustainability principles into the design of our pieces from initial productdesign and ideation, to customer feedback and research, to product marketing anddevelopment. We work hard to design beautiful products that are sustainable today,tomorrow, and always." How is this going to last a lifetime when they have terrible craftsmanship and cant get on the same page about customer service? We cant even get the ring to last a few years. We want a refund.
