I purchased custom drapes. Had to pay for “ professional “ measurements that were off. I gave correct measurements.Hanging of drapes is 1/2 lower on one side. This was identified by me while installer was present with my 8’ level. Drapes are extremely wrinkled. I called sales person. I told her I only wanted what she would think was okay for her home. I sent pics. Her response was they will straighten with time. Okay. I’m not want to create problems so I will address the issues in my own. But good to know they don’t have high standards for themselves. I’m glad I didn’t order the other two sets of drapes I need. Do not recommend.

From the moment I walked in and was immediately greeted to the day I picked up our newly covered couch cushions the whole experience was so professional and personal.We had Claire as the expert who helped us and she is phenomenal. If you need old furniture reupholstered and you already have your fabric they will give you a screaming good price to do that, if you need fabric too they have so much to choose from that's priced extremely fair you have everything you need in one stop shopping!

Service was interesting... not sure why anyone would feel the need to assert their political beliefs into a design discussion. While we are living in some strange times, it's hugely inappropriate for anyone to assume a shared political view. And then babble on about it. Our design consultant Cathy had a lot to say about her beliefs, political climate today, perceived persecution of our current leader, disbelief in the coronavirus, and much more. I wanted inspirational design conversations, not a dense cheer for a political party. Wtf?? Again, I understand there's much to be said during these interesting times, but not if you want clients to come back. Will never subject myself to that again. I suggest avoiding until hell freezes over.

Having been a customer of Calico Corners/Tucson until they closed mid-2000's, I decided to head to Calico Corners in Phoenix in December 2019 for fabric for reupholstering our sofa. Unfortunately, the attitude toward customers was similar to that in Tucson, which I think contributed to the closing of the store here. I did receive the beautiful fabrics both in 2003 for reupholstering numerous pieces of furniture in our home and now 2019 for our sofa and had/have no major complaints about the products themselves. (One minor complaint: despite Phoenix saying there were no flaws in the sofa fabric in 2019, there actually were three minor ones, all of which my upholsterer said he could work around.) After my experience with store personnel in Tucson in 2003, I told my husband I would never return to Calico Corners/Tucson, and this is when they were still in business with a beautiful Tucson store with great fabrics! To conclude, service in Phoenix this last December did not meet my expectations at all, including their providing inaccurate information and not offering friendly, polite, and professional service. Too bad.

Working with this company has been the worst experiences have ever had! The customer service has been disastrous and that is being kind. The sales person Pamela did not take down the correct information and only charged us for material for two cushions for our two chairs which was supposed to be four cushions. She then blamed us for the miscommunication! We decided to still purchase the material but get the cushions upholstered at an honest business b can't se we no longer trusted them. Unfortunately the story does not end there, they then refunded us for the upholstery service but it was an overage in a refund, so they asked for the overage back which we were fine with dealing with their inability to provide any sort of professionalism. We said we would look at our records and get back with them on Monday morning but instead they took the money out of our checking account without our consent! Do not trust this company they are unprofessional, uncaring, incompetent and not worth the time or stress!!

Went to pick fabric for four chair cushions. The fabric i picked was the right color but not the right type for kitchen chair cushions... the fabric gets runs like pantyhose do when stretched.. of course every time you sit the fabric stretches.. and you get the pic. They offer reupholstering service and although I had a recommendation from a friend, I chose the easy one stop solution & let Calico do the job. The incompetence was overwhelming. The person who did the job covered the holes when that were on the wood of the old cushions, making it impossible to screw back in. A professional place would have inspected the finished work before calling the customer to pick the cushions up When i called the store it was apparent they were bothered by my call, and made it seem like it was a normal thing and I was making a big deal out of nothing. An awful experience all around.

We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door, unlike many other fabric stores! Beth assisted us and was helpful, not pushy, and gave us great options for curtains. We brought home sizable fabric samples and it allowed us to make a fast decision.

Consumers beware--blanket sales "exclude" a lot of items. The store employees are all very nice, although quite a few new employees in training, so I experienced a lot of confusion but especially related to pricing. I was told my fabric would be on sale and checked out several samples to try out on furniture. When I returned, there was a plexiglass sign on the counter stating a "25% off Summer Sale on Fabrics." I saw the same ad online. However, in very fine print it says *exclusions. That's all. One word. And to my surprise, the fabric I selected, of course, was excluded from the sale. I was told designer fabrics were only 10% off and not the 25% but after arriving home, I noticed that I didn't receive the 10% either so called and was told this particular fabric was not included in that either! I feel this is very misleading advertising and it is obviously confusing to the employees as I was mislead (twice). My caution is not to believe the fabric you actually want will be included in any sale. This is a Corporate marketing department issue and not as much a Store Employee issue given they have to deal with the public, but do not run store advertising. Very disappointing and misleading.

Good service. Watch out for their parking lot... my new car got badly dinged by some careless bobble-head of an old biddy (sorry if the truth hurts). Very annoying... and expensive to fix!
