Chaparral Dog Park is a wonderful and favorite place for dogs to run, play, and socialize. It is a great, large, and well-maintained park with grassy, fenced areas separated for active and passive play, not by size. The park provides shade, water, benches, and agility features, with bags and receptacles all over. It is a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where aggressive behavior is not tolerated. The park is generally clean, though the entrance smell can be a lot sometimes, and some owners do not pick up their dog’s poop. It has plenty of parking, including accessible spaces. The park is closed Tuesday and Friday mornings for maintenance. Many consider it the best dog park, worth a longer drive.

My favorite dog park. I use to live in Scottsdale and was an easy drive. Now in mid PHX and it takes a little longer SO WORTH it! Don’t go anywhere else. This is the best dog park. Also have never seen any issues from other dogs nor have experienced any.
