Desert Horizon Park is a great spot with big open areas and well-groomed lawns. It offers plenty of space to run, play sports, and frolic, with pretty walking paths perfect for a morning jog or stroll. The park features nice playgrounds, including separate structures for toddlers and older kids, with swings for both age groups. The playground area has a sidewalk perimeter, which is great for children learning to ride bikes. Shade structures cover the playground, though not all day, and some slides can get hot in the afternoon sun. A water spout in the sand can create mud. Some parts of the older playground are roped off or pad-locked as it is a bit run down. The park is clean and well-kept, with decently clean restrooms that have toilet paper but no stall doors. It feels safe with the police station next door, though it is noted as very dark at night. Overall, it is a good, clean park with tons of room to run around and explore.
I love coming to this park. There’s plenty of space for kids and lots of green areas to enjoy 🌿

We play here almost every weekend and is an awesome place for kids and family!

It’s run down but overall great space. Good shade, sand park. About 4 baby swings and a lot of big kid swings. A little kid play structure and a bigger structure. Both my 4.5 year old and 2 year old had a lot of fun. There was also tons of room to just run around and explore.
