This Fry's is in a rough part of town and the store was in a slight state of disarray when I arrived one night to pick up some groceries for the house. The reason why this place gets a 5-star review is because of a cashier named Issac. This person went above and beyond to help me. We even got into friendly conversation about us working on the side with Uber and Uber eats (I was talking about Uber eats). Issac's attitude was positive, but also professional and welcoming. Whenever he did not have an answer, he asked a supervisor for assistance. The cashier assistant that night also fed off his energy and they both made my trip to the grocery store worth while. For Fry's management reading this- this occurred Oct. 6-7 around 5-7pm at night I would say since I'm ball parking. They were the standard and exceeded the standard. Great job and hope to visit again soon!

Those were perhaps the most stale donuts I have ever had.

I'm not sure what's up with this location but they appear to have better specials compared to other locations. Prices have gone up so much that seeing a great price on something such as fruit and Gatorade was refreshing! The staff, whom I encountered were all nice. My only issue was that, I noticed that when the cashier rung me up she didn't ring up the sale price even after I supplied the Frys reward card provided by another customer who was nice enough to use his for me. I noticed that I was charged full price and decided to go back inside to customer service who returned the difference of $2.××. It's not alot of money but, if it's on sale, I definitely want that sale price. Parking: There's plenty of parking. Store is located in the center of other businesses. Scottsdale is growing so rapidly!!!

I popped by this FRYS on a early Friday afternoon, since it is close to my fiancés work. I had just walked through the doors and wandered in for a short list of household things I needed. I began to look around for the small handheld baskets. This female employee (older with short reddish curly hair) was like "you looking for something?" I'm like "yes, the small shopping basket. Oops, never mind." As I see them and reach for one. She replies "Oh, you mean the ones right in front of your face?" And zero smile, grin, no I ndication that this smirk comment was a joke? Ugh, I tried to shake it off but it irked me and made me uncomfortable. I'm so passive and just took a nice stroll to the other set of doors and left. Leaving behind my empty, unused shopping basket. Maybe if they updated this location (there is a FRYS by me not far from Mayo Blvd that I LOVE) they wouldn't mind updating the staffs attitudes. Just a thought.

We are only here for a month and needed a few groceries so we stopped at Fry's as it was close. We mostly bought boxed items. I thought prices were reasonable. The aisles were crowded and products were not well stocked. When we asked for help in finding things, we were met with helpful staff. It just seemed like the store was trying to crowd too many things into a space that wasn't meant to hold them. I know we will be back many times in the next month. Maybe it will be better once I know where things are located.

Went in this store recently, and I am blown away this employee Martha was still allowed to work here! I talked to customer service after I didn't get a call back from the store manager, and it seems this store manager is fine with bigots working for him.

This is the store that Fry's forgot. This is an old store that Fry's seems to refuse to put any money into. It is desperately in need of a remodel. However, my main gripe with this store is it's chronic shortage of products on the shelf. More often than not I leave with multiple items on my shopping list not in stock. Yesterday, 4 out of 10 items on my list were not there (fresh basil, Italian parsley, Cento whole tomatoes, kroger diet soda). Over the past year this is happening more often than not. The other Fry's on Shea and McDowell Rd do not have this issue, but are a long way to go if I only need a few items. It's more expensive, but now I am starting to go to Safeway more often.

My wife does most of the grocery shopping and she constantly tells me of her positive experience at this store. I also have had a good experience in all departments. It's all about good people. Examples: 1) Pharmacist alerted me to possible drug interaction, called my doctor, and doctor changed it. 2) Guy stocking shelves proactively offered to help my wife lift case of water into her cart. He was a complete gentleman. 3) Grocery pickup was fast and accurate with polite young man loading the car. 4) Cashiers are always fast and friendly. 5) Cashier reminded my wife that it was senior day when she didn't know it, thus giving her a discount. 6) People sweeping floor are always courteous and say "Good morning" so they don't startle you when they pass. 7) Baggers take care to put cold stuff together and to double-bag heavy items. They also place eggs in separate place and let me know. 8) Self-checkout is always available and efficient, and if there's an issue, someone is right there to help. 9) My wife had a digital coupon that she didn't know was for pickup only, but customer service honored it anyway. 10) Pharmacy is fast, friendly and efficient. We transferred from another pharmacy where we had to wait forever for prescriptions and vaccinations.

I'm in an interracial marriage. This is the 3rd we've been shopping in this store and the 3rd time my wife has been discriminated against. I didn't actually realize she was getting a different level of service from the staff until today when I was like, ok there's definitely a pattern of discrimination taking place here. I'll be pursuing legal action contact me if you'd like to hear my detailed account of how this store is racist

The staff was very unfriendly and ruined the shopping experience. i felt a bit of racism from this particular location from older manager. this place is also a contributor to voter suppression and woman's rights suppression

manager is racist! im heading to the farmers market instead. i was signing a reproductive rights petition and a manager came out and kicked them off even though that is protected in the constitution under freedom of speech! not returning

I am visiting Arizona for spring break. Me and my son went to Fry's to get some snacks and I wanted some liquor for myself. Just a nice singular bottle of Pinot. I went through the self checkout because there was no line. My son helped me unload all the groceries to scan, and he put the liquor down too. This rude, middle aged white woman came up to us and goes "well now I can't sell you that." like??? and then she said "Because he touched it, I can't sell you it." again, what?? So i asked nicely, if I come in by myself can I buy it? She proceeded to say no, with a big booty attitude and then she goes "No, I can get in trouble." long story short, I hope her and her bitchy attitude get her fired.

Disgusting. Gritty and dirty supermarket. Whole place felt gross. Take the lock off the wallet and put down some new floors. That would be a good start.
