My overall experience has been fine. The reps and pharmacists have been pleasant and helpful. For whatever reason, when there’s an issue, I’m met with an unwilling attitude by a pharmacist and manager.
I was informed today, when I tried refilling my scripts, that one my usual medications is a controlled substance and I needed to provide an ssn, dl#, passport etc in order for it to be delivered locally.
Since I’ve received the medications from them each month for the last 4/5 months, I had questions. 1. When did my medication become a controlled substance? 2. Since I cannot locate it on the governments list of controlled substance, why is it considered a controlled substance.
The original rep. wasn’t sure and transferred me to a pharmacist. Once on, I asked the pharmacist why was the rx being treated as a controlled substance now? And was there a change and that I’ve never had to provide a dl# for any order.
I understand that questions may be inconvenient but her response was unnecessary. She said the rx can be sent to another pharmacy instead of addressing my concern. After asking if there was a written policy regarding this, her response was she can get a manager to contact me, so I won’t think they’re doing whatever with my dl#. (Avoiding the confusion about controlled substance.)
My DL# was not the issue. I’m trying to get an understanding as to why the medication is considered a controlled substance.
The manager emailed me an abbreviated version of what the pharmacist said….but still no explanation and no policy. I don’t understand why my main concerned has been ignored.
I called back and spoke to a rep, since neither the pharmacist nor manager could provide any direction. The rep said “she thinks it’s considered a controlled substance because of the way it’s processed.” I appreciate her attempt to help but the pharmacists and management should be able to provide a reason the rx is now considered a controlled substance. The rep was the only one who actually heard and understood my concern.
I no longer work in the medical field, but when we had policies around drugs that are considered a controlled substance, it was expected that we could provide an brief explanation on categories of medications…
I need the rx quickly, so I will just get the scripts. I’ve had a total of 3 issues total, 2 of which cost me additional money due to misinformation or misunderstanding..meaning 2x being told my rx’s needed a prior authorization while my clinic and insurance said no PA’s were needed. Again, b/c I needed the meds quickly I paid for the meds from a CVS and charged 3x more.. Mistakes happen..though annoying and costly.
This time, it’s the unwillingness to provide the info and let me know they don’t care about my business is enough for me to choose another pharmacy.
You learn about a business when you’re able to see how they handle issues.
Update Sat. 11/2/24****** updated to 4 stars
I came to pick up the rx and spoke to a male pharmacist (I forgot his name but added male because I wanted to give him the credit he deserves.) I asked him why the medication was considered a controlled substance. He gave the simplest answer ****b/c the medication is abused by bodybuilders … so in some states it’s considered a controlled substance.
This was such a simple explanation and appreciated! …
I’m confused why neither the “pharmacist” or manager who emailed me yesterday couldn’t provide that explanation.

I used to like using Integrity, but their service is TERRIBLE lately and I won't use them again. Not only are they extremely rude when talking to them on the phone, you now can't even order certain medications (Omnitrope) without a FULL IVF medication order. How greedy! I've easily since found this medication at other pharmacies that don't have this policy. Your pharmacy has gone downhill and the word is getting around. My clinic even told me NOT to use Integrity anymore! I'd highly suggest having a customer service class for your employees on treating customers better.

This place sells meds from China and then only if you buy a full set of IVF meds will they fill some prescriptions. Money hungry and greedy business practices preying on women going through the hardest possible time in their life.

I use this pharmacy for my infertility medications. They have someone who shows you how to use everything, and I was able to ask questions and get answers about the medications. The front office staff was very friendly as well. Infertility can be an emotional and scary journey and I appreciate helpful and caring staff.

This pharmacy has been instrumental in ensuring timely refills on my prescriptions. Most notably, I'd like to recognize Mar (Marinette) at the front desk. She is one of the kindest individuals and always welcomes me with a smile. I've been going through treatments and it's been a grueling process. I know that when I arrive, my medications are ready, and I am always taken care of. I hope that corporate and/or the owner reads this and acknowledges what a gem Mar is and how lucky you are to have her. Thank you!

They have terrible customer service. Still on hold after 30 minutes of waiting. This isn’t the first time either I’ve been on hold this long. Seems like this is the norm for them. Walgreens/CVS has better customer service.

Been on hold over 30 minutes. I was with Village Pharmacy but they don’t ship to me anymore so Integrity got transferred my script. Already hate it. With how time sensitive the meds are, this is ridiculous.

Unethical practices. Forcing customers to fill ALL IVF prescriptions with them or they won't fill the only one you need. I'm not sure how this is even legal. Definitely taking advantage of people who are already in a tough situation.

The absolute worst. Horrible customer service. Attitudes. Trying for over a MONTH to get a prescription refilled. .

Used them for a year as they are the only local specialty pharmacy for my medication. They have script fill through text message. I usually order by phone to ensure accuracy, but at one point I had one more med to fill & used the text option. I had it delivered, so couldn't ensure accuracy upon pickup. The delivery was incorrect & the manager refused to reimburse their mistake. If we need these specialty meds again, we will simply order elsewhere.

Received different quotes for the same order. Little to no communication between providers. Had different people calling me to just repeat things that others had said. My order came without gauze and when I called to see if they’d ship it to me they said they couldn’t do it and to just go to my local CVS. Very frustrating when you’re spending thousands of dollars and they can’t even complete the order and fix their mess up.

Sadly, the pharmacy is very unorganized and borderline from malpractise. I picked up two large bags of medications, trusting the pharmacy that they filled my physician's prescription. By the end of my treatment I discovered "extra" medication that was worth around $200, that my medical office said should never have been among my medications and not part of my treatment. The pharmacy refused to take this sealed and unopened box and issue the refund, suggesting I just throw it away. On 4/10/23 I called to refill the prescription for one day treatment. When I came to pick it up, I fortunately, double checked the amount and it turned out they gave me 1/3 of the medication I should have taken that night. If I would discovered this at home, the whole $15,000 worth of treatment be jeopardized.
