Kay Jewelers Attempted to Rob Me - Check Your ReceiptI made a purchase on 2/11 for a matching bracelet to my necklace and was really excited!On 2/12 I decided to shop more online and noticed an additional special (10% off) for VR customers. It made me automatically decide to have the special applied to my purchase on 2/11. Upon reviewing my receipt I noticed the woman who assisted me the day before did not ring up my purchase correctly and instead I was charged nearly $400 more! I called the location and didn't receive an answer, which is understandable since it was Super Bowl weekend. I called today and spoke with the same woman who sold me the bracelet on 2/11. I informed her of the mistake and explained I calculated the cost to the penny. She identified the error and proceeded to complete the return and then repurchase on the phone. I had to provide her my DL#, DOB and last four of my SSN. While completing the repurchase, I explained my frustration and stated, "If I wouldn't have attempted to buy more the following day, I would've never noticed the error." I then proceeded to ask what accommodation she or a manger could provide for what I consider an unreasonable mistake? She immediately stated, "Nothing." I responded, "I'll be there in a few hours to make a complete return."Upon my arrival to the store, the manager helped me with the return. She retrieved paperwork from behind the counter that had all of my personal data displayed. This was NOT locked up or guarded in any capacity. When she completed the return she stated, "Sorry, they don't allow us to take anything additional off." Honestly, she didn't even understand why I was making the return and had she asked, they'd probably still have the sell. Even if she offered $25 or something off of a future purchase, I would've felt heard. Again, 2/12 I was online looking to purchase more!Since I'm within my 60 day window from the purchase of my necklace, I'll be returning it and repurchasing it from a different location. This location should not and will not benefit from me choosing to spend my hard-earned money there.The customer experience should be protected at all times and when a screw is made, the business should take accountability to ensure the customer feels valued during those misses. In these economic times, organizations don't have an opportunity to get it wrong. As it relates to the safeguarding of my information, that's a completely different topic that's extremely sensitive. I will be involving Comenity Bank and leaders at a different level because there's NEVER an exception for protecting someone's personal information.I DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION...TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE YOU'RE VALUED AND SOMEWHERE THAT'LL GUARD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I stopped in today to look for some potential wedding rings. Three women were working, one with another customer and the other two at the main counter in the back. Everyone noticed I walked in and without any acknowledgement of me entering I proceeded to look at the some rings in one of the first cases. In the five minutes I stood there looking, not one employee asked if I needed help or offered any sort of assistance. As a customer currently in the market, I will definitely not be purchasing from this location or company.

BRITTANY BUENO IS YOUR GO TO GIRL!Brittany went out of her way to assist us while we were in store. She was polite, attentive and knowledgeable on every product we looked at.I entrusted her with my watch for repairs, that I have had for over 10 years. It came back looking BRAND NEW.My girlfriend LOVES her earrings.We will definitely be back, and we will definitely be dealing with Brittany!

We've been going to Kay's for years. The staff is always accommodating, patient & friendly. We never feel pressured when purchasing jewelry & prices are reasonable. Brittany, the manager, is wonderful! She has helped us when purchasing jewelry throughout the years. She treats you like family, which is why we keep going back.

In my opinion Kay Jewelers is way underrated, the quality of jewelry is second to none and the customer service is awesome. The prices are really good as well.

@Kay Jewelers My husband bought me a replacement of my lost wedding band so we went to kay jewelers to buy not so expensive wedding band that I like.First of all the at person who assist us was very helpful and friendly.We purchase the wedding band and she temporary put a ring adjuster because it was a little loose for me to wear.She remove the tag price but did not give us that small piece of the tag price. She gave us a ring box and small paper bag.One thing she forgot to give us a PAPER COPY of Purchase & Inspection Information. Which I hope not that important because we have email electronic copy.Good thing when we pay she recommend to select the electronic Copy of the receipt and Copy of Puchase & Inspection Information / Lifetime Diamond and Color Gemstone Guarantee and Paper Copy Receipt.I love this small but cute wedding band and this is not expensive ring.Our Experience at Kay Jeweler at this location was awesome.November 13, 2021

If I could give zero stars I would. Cannot believe the lack of communication and service we received from here after we paid for my fiancé wedding band. We purchased it 3 months before for our wedding and told it would be in 2 weeks before our wedding. We kept calling and making sure it would be here in time and they said yes. Come now our wedding is in a week and after we call them again for an update they tell us it won’t be here for another month!!! No sympathy no remorse, i am disgusted with Kay Jewelers now we have no ring for our wedding!!!!! They then have the nerve to tell us they will issue a check refund for our ring since we did pay in full from corporate instead of refunding back to our credit card!!! Wow! Never ever will we do business with them again.

Brittany welcomed me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door and waited on me right away. She took the time to explain the cut of diamond and found my perfect earrings! I am so pleased with the customer service I received and the diamonds are beautiful!!!

My sweet boyfriend bought my engagement ring and wedding band from this Kay store. We needed the ring to be resized, the woman sized my finger - 5.5 and we sent in to be resized. The rings came in later than we expected. My mom was in town and I was so excited to show off the engagement ring to her. We went to pick them up and they had soldered my wedding band to my engagement ring when they went to get resized. Therefore, we had to send the rings back in to get them taken apart so it was 3 more weeks without my engagement ring. That was very disappointing. When we finally got the rings back - which we had to constantly call to ask for the status cause it was late again. The stores phone was disconnected most of the time we called. When I went to try on the rings, I realized the rings were too big so the size was wrong after waiting all that time. I was so upset that my rings had been soldered that they offered to order new rings which was very nice. We also said we wanted a discount and they said we would have to discuss that when the new rings came in. The new rings came in later (of course) than they said they would. We noticed the rings were now on sale at the store and we asked for a discount to align with that price. The lady at the store said okay and then had us pay and the price didn't reflect what we talked about. My fiancé asked her to go back and talk with her manager and she said she couldn't do anything more. We never discussed the discount would be less she just has us pay a higher price. Horrible. I would never ever go back to kay.
