Leslie's Pools is a chain of pool supply stores that's been around for a while. They've got a big selection of products, and their staff is usually pretty knowledgeable. But they can be a bit pricey, and the customer service can be hit or miss.

I’ve been at this location 3x in the last month and have nothing but good things to say about Drew. He’s knowledgeable, kind and helpful.

I’ve been coming here for the last 2 months. Normally I’m helped by a very nice helpful young man in his 20’s. He always has a smile and doesn’t seemed bothered with testing the sample of pool water I bring. He’s knowledgeable and gives me recommendations and and explains what each chemical does. Today however, I had Christian D. I waited while he kept his back to me with no other customer in the building, finally turned (I assume he thought I moved away because he seemed put off helping me) I said good morning he dismissed me and rudely asked for my number, tested my water, handed me my printout and walked away. The printout everything chemical was out of range. I went home to wing it. I feel sorry for the other employees that have to be around this grumpy 50+ man. Next time I will ask for someone else to help me.

I also met Chris today. He opened the store 15 min later than it was posted on the door. Was rude and aggressive. And when I asked "why" - said "get out of here" and walked away. I know it is hard to find a decent help these days, but this one should be kept away from retail no matter how knowledgeable he possibly is.

As previous reviewers stated: Chris is there to repel the public. He opened the store 15 min later than it was posted on the door. Was rude and aggressive. And when I asked "why" - said "get out of here" and walked away. I know it is hard to find decent help these days, but this one should be kept away from retail no matter how knowledgeable he possibly is. Based on the previous reviews this whole location can disappear because of one s.o.b.

Chris is horrible at this location. He's very rude and doesn't know what he's doing. Horrible service.

I left a review two weeks ago and someone must not have liked what I said. Christian an older guy needs a non customer service position. Normally I'm helped by a younger guy and girl, they're always helpful and informative. Christian however, kept his back to me when I stood waiting for my water to be tested, when he finally turned to help me I said good morning he ignored me, never looked up at me, asked my number to test my water, handed me a printout with all abnormal levels and walked away. Seems like a very unhappy person, definitely not helpful. Won't let him test my water next time. I'll ask for someone else.

I get great service from this store. They are friendly and helpful. Two weeks ago (Saturday) the clerk told me exactly what I needed to do to fix my algea problem in my pond and also how to get my chlorine levels in my new expanded pool corrected. I want to say thank you. My pool and pond are now fixed. Your suggestions also worked great for testing levels. Second, big kudos to the salesguy for showing great patience to the customer complaining nonstop about the cost of the chlorine tabs. The salesclerk gave several explanations about why there was a shortage and the cost had gone up (as they have in all places in Arizona) and she just completely ignored him. As he carried her products to her car she continued to complain. I admire the professionalism of the staff. Dealing with difficult customers and still being friendly has to be hard.

I went to buy chlorine tabs. I knew the price had gone up.., but wow! The young man who was the clerk in the store today, Sat afternoon, explained it this way: "I don't want to get political, but, blame Mr Joe Biden for this". Well, he is incorrect and ignorant to boot. I researched why the price was high and it has to do with a fire in a manufacturing plant that makes the tabs, plus the higher demand due to new pools that were built in the area over the pandemic. So, this ignorant guy just fueled more ignorant anger over something that is completely false. If Leslie's employees are that ignorant about something this basic, can I trust them for advice on anything with my pool? I'm sure they get this question frequently these days. Leslies credibility, in my book, just sank through the floor.

Never heard about this place until now, and I am sure glad that I found it. The items they sell are great quality and legit, as opposed to the somewhat suspicious pool products they sell at Home Depot, which are basically imposter brands. The employees were able to recommend a great fix to my pool vent and provided the right chemicals for me to perform pool maintenance tasks. Also, after it rained, I had an emergency meeting with the employees who tested my water and gave me the info I needed to improve my pool water. Who knew that the best pool stores and employees were among us the whole time.

Great service. Rene the repair person did a quick and efficient replacement of my pool pump. The cost was very reasonable. I expected a bill that was far larger than he presented to me. To bad that they don't service pools. I would give them my pool immediately

I needed chlorine tabs for the pool and knew there was a shortage. Went to Leslie's and they charged me $139 (!!!) for a large bucket ($150+ with tax). Later that day I found the exact same tabs at another store for $40 less. When I tried to return the bucket at Leslie's the clerk asked me if they were opened (No) and if I had my receipt (Yes). Then was told they couldn't do a return. The clerk suggested I give my $150 bucket of chlorine tabs to a neighbor! Will NEVER walk in a Leslie's pool store ever again.
