We had so much fun creating our own lipstick and lip gloss here. The staff was so knowledgeable about what colors were more flattering for different skin tones and they were really patient as I was very specific about the color I wanted to create. I was even able to add a flavor, which was a nice surprise. This is now my favorite lip stick of all time. Highly recommend you go with a friend or a group to make it an even more fun experience.

Lip Lab is such an Unique and fun experience. Whether alone, or with a group it's a lot of fun. The ability to customize the kind of life product, the color, scent, packaging, and name is so fun and memorable.I love the colors inwas able to create and would love to make more in the future. Also, special shout out to the lovely manager and her team... They treated us so nicely and make our experience delightful.

I wish I had better things to say about Lip Lab as my friend and I have been planning this day for a while. Let me just get to the point - You have an hour, that's it. I felt very rushed and wasn't really getting the result that I was looking for so I felt I had to just buy something. You do not make your lipstick the gals behind the bar do. I thought I would get to make my color. The woman told me "we have people scheduled after you" insinuating that we were taking too long. She had to mean that being we didnt ask for that information. I can only go as fast as you are getting to my color preference. My friend and I both commented that the matte felt very silky and that we didnt think it would stay on very long - the lady looked at her co worker and said "I have never heard anyone say that before" I get its not an all day wear but its way too silky for a matte. My girl said "I have had this on for hours" I literally put mine on before I went to the market today and when I came out - I needed to re-apply. I didn't eat or drink. Is it a cute concept? Yes, Was a lipstick, lip gloss and lip liner that I am not at all happy with worth $152.00 NOPE! I felt like I had to just buy what she ended up with at the end of the hour. I'm so annoyed with myself that I paid that being I am so unhappy with the product and experience

This was really fun. Got a sheer lipstick and a balm. I would do this again. It was a Monday and not very busy. I had made an appt.

Damar was amazing to work with. She was nice, patient, bubbly, knowledgeable, funny and an overall hypequeen. My family and I will 100% be back and look forward to making this a Christmas tradition when we are all in town. The sheer lipstick is hydrating with the perfect pigmentation. It’s a multi step process which makes it so special and interactive.

We had an absolutely fabulous time making the perfect lipstick and lipgloss. Awesome experience, would recommend it for a bridal party or just a fun afternoon with a couple of girlfriends.

You meet with a consultant and she customizes a color to match your style, skin tone and preferences. You can get several different forms of lipstick (matte, sheer etc) and gloss. You will try on a customized shade and the consultation will reformualate it until you're satisfied with the color. A complimentary gloss is discounted and is also custom made. Your lipstick case is laser engraved with a name and emoji you choose. Such a fun experience. It was supposed to take an hour but we were chatty and took 90 minutes for 2 of us and never felt rushed.

On a girls trip in Nov., we found the LipLab and easily scheduled an appt. I got a call asking if we could come 30 min later since there was a large party ahead us. I said we could make an earlier time, but would prefer to not do anything later. They were very polite & called me later to let me know all the earlier appts confirmed, so we would keep our original time.I arrived 5 min prior to our 2-person appt and it was busy. My friend arrived right on time. There were no available seats until about 6 min when the hostess sat us and started to explain the process (our actual consultant was still finishing up a prior appt). The hostess was extremely nice. When our actual consultant took over the appt a few min later, immediately the mood shifted. It was clear she didn’t want to be there.I wanted to purchase a lip balm & gloss while my friend was unsure. She knew she wanted 1 product that was very dark with shine. The consultant asked me if I was sure I wanted 2 products in a condescending tone. I brushed it off thinking I misheard her. Then, we discussed colors. I wanted a nude/pink. My friend wanted a very dark brown and also pulled out her current lipstick. Our consultant told my friend it might be hard to get the balm dark, but she could try and we could always switch to the gloss and sheer lipstick. She gave me the first color to try and I politely asked if I could have makeup remover. She condescendingly said “that’s what the cloths on your plate are for” and I said “oh, I’m sorry, we weren’t sure if there was makeup remover” and she sighed and went to find the bottle of remover. At this point my friend and I were confused. It was difficult to see our lip balms because both of our mirror lights were dead. By the 3rd color, I was finished with my balm.My friend, on the other hand, was having a difficult time. The consultant was getting frustrated and asked a gentleman next to her for help. Ultimately, she said my friend would need a lipstick and not a gloss. Between my friend’s shades, the consultant started my next lip product. She again asked if i wanted 2 products (idk why). I told her the color I wanted. She immediately said they were out of nudes. She said she could make a mauve which I tried but I didn’t like. She wanted to make me a red instead (idk why). Meanwhile my friend still didn’t have 1 color. The consultant recommended she try a sheer lipstick next. She had my friend to try the tester which was a bright orange. It was difficult for her to imagine brown. After thought, she asked to try it. The consultant told us we were out of time. I politely pleaded asking if she could quickly try and make just 1 sheer lipstick for my friend as she is out of town from Hawaii. She said no flatly. She said appointments usually take 15-20 min (I knew was incorrect, because the group by us were told it took 30-45 min & they could make as many products as they wanted). I also saw him mixing a nude gloss. My friend was about to cry. Our consultant said we could always come back. I reminded her that we were from out of town and could not. Meanwhile, there were 6 empty seats next to us at that time. The whole situation was upsetting. We could easily go to Sephora instead. We went to Lip Lab for the experience. We love makeup. This was a special trip for us. If our consultant was in a better mood and kind, we would’ve had a good time. She didn’t even introduce herself or ask our names. I also found that she completely skipped the “lip prep” step of a sugar scrub and moisturizer. She was completely disengaged, frustrated, falsely promised we could try different types of products and complained that we were sitting in an area that wasn’t supposed to be a spot.I know there were other consultants next to us that were genuine & doing a fantastic job. But, we were very disappointed with our experience. I was extremely embarrassed when I apologized to my friend as I felt responsible for booking the appt. I filled out a post-appt survey with the option for LipLab to reach out to me. I have yet to receive a response.

So cute and fun! I had Matt as my color expert, and he was efficient and informative. I also ended up buying the lipcare products because they all felt great and were things I was able to try throughout the process. Matt really helped me hone in on the perfect color and even inspired me for the name of my new lipstick shade. Definitely want to come back and make different shades for each season!

So confused. We went on a weekday in the middle of the day...walk in...not 1 customer was there but 4-5 employees were there. We were told they are all booked up until 3 or 4 hrs later. That they had a cancellation and usually they are booked out 4 weeks ahead. That wasn't true because going on line there were openings a couple days later. Why weren't they able to have us do the lipstick when we walked in??? No one was there! Meanwhile, no desire to go back.
