I absolutely love this store. Jeff greeted me warmly, and he helped me quickly find the hand cream I came for. Most importantly, he suggested I discover the Immortelle Divine serum which was a life changer. Thank you!

First off this has nothing to do with the products. It's basically 1 star for customer service but since I like the products and store in general I will give it 2.So the date was today 5/8/23.The Fashion Square store.The time was close to 8 pm.I walk into the store and no one is there aside from myself and the sole sales associate. I walk up to her and she is staring at her phone the entire time. I have to say (as I am right in front of her).... "Hello I am here for a pick up".She graciously gets off her phone and says: "Okay can I get a name?" Yes - my name is Benny.She grabs the gift bag. "Okay can I see your ID" ... okay sure.I show her my ID.Then I state, "So with my purchase it states that I have a choice of a gift set. Which ones are available?"She looks at me like I am literally the stupidest person in the world and shrugs like: What do you want me to do about that?Afterward the ever appropriate and helpful gesture her response is: "You should have added that to your order."I say yeah, there wasn't an option for that I can show you on my phone because I screen shotted it.She gives me a big shrug again.... and I look at her with my best....Are you serious right now face? "You should have added it to your order"So I decide to read what is written to her and it states: Buy your product online, pick up in store and receive 1 free sample available in your chosen store... ....again I reiterate that it does not have you select an option for your set.(Plus it kind of makes sense that there could be limited supply in each store?)She scoffs and hastily opens the counter in back of her and grabs a box.She says "Okay here you go" and shoves it in the bag.I said, "And which sample set is that?"She says, "It's LITERALLY the only gift set we have available"Then she takes the set out and opens it and shows me what is inside and hastily puts it back in the bag."It is the only set we have."I was barely saying "Okay" but she cuts me off .....She says, "Okay so you're all set now, BYEEEEE"I actually didn't say anything to her after that because nothing that would have came out of my mouth would have been very nice. So there was some dead silence as I just stared at her.She broke the silence by saying "So we've had A TON of orders today and you're LITERALLY THE ONLY ONE who couldn't add it to their order so that's just SO WEIRD".This gift was for my mom.I'm a dude and I pretty much only shop here for my mom.I've never had a bad experience at any store I've been to over many years, all I could say is wow by the end of this interaction.Almost felt like I was in a candid camera skit. Not sure why people like this think they wouldn't get called out of their nonsense - especially when they're the only one working.PS: I will include the screen shot for added validity to my story....LITERALLY.

It's unfortunate that the Fashion Square L'Occitane store has moved from the middle of the mall to the very end, near the exit close to the Harkins' Theater. I have no reason to go to this part of the mall, except to purchase L'Occitane products ... and today will likely be the last time that I make the effort. Imagine my disappointment, after making the long walk to the far end of the mall, to find the L'Occitane store completely without staff. The doors were wide open, but there were no salespeople. I couldn't believe that the management would leave the store so vulnerable unless there was some dire emergency. Finally, after patiently waiting, a woman strolled into the store carrying a cup of coffee. She was quite unapologetic to have kept my husband and I waiting, casually explaining that she left the store unmanned because she needed a cup of coffee. I still like L'Occitane products, but not so much that I'm willing to tolerate this poor level of service.

This review is based both on products and the store's customer service. Romney was the sales rep who helped me today and she was absolutely amazing, super helpful and very much informed regarding all things L'Occitane! Romney was so wonderful, I bought a lot more than what I walked in for, she uses the products and looks sensational! I have been a fan of L'Occi for a long time, I have noticed some product changes in mint thrilled about, in example the Shea body cream, I hate the new silver tub, much preferred the white tub, and this incarnation seems like there was also a formula change, the new dispenser makes it harder to remove from the tub, I hate the cartridge, it's not conducive to easy removal/application, their hand soap doesn't smell as luxurious as it used to, very disappointing, my bf used to comment that the old formula always smelled like you were at a nice spa, this version, not so much.

This location is wonderful! It's nestled in the heart of Scottsdale Quarter. I had to come here a couple months ago to purchase my sister's Bridal Shower favors. With Covid we did a Virtual shower of 40 guests and decided to put together Party Packages. My sister's love of the rose soap was what inspired us to include in the package. The girl that worked there was so sweet and accommodating. She also made sure I had enough of their signature tissue paper and stickers so we can wrap them individually. I have to say the packages were a hit and what made them so unique was when you opened it- you were instantly welcomed by the rose scent of the soap!
