I thought their mystery t shirt vending machine was interesting and all the employees were pushing me to buy one telling me how cool the designs are just for me to spend money and open a plain white t shirt with nothing on it. Such a scam and employees pushed me to fall for it.

Love the customer service here! The clothes are really soft and we loved the style, but PLEASE start making a size smaller size for men! My husband would have bought a new wardrobe but everything was too large!

This is an awesome clothing shop, the ts are especially well made. I have to say the customer service is off the charts and the associate deserves all 5 stars! She went out of her way to find the exact size in the exact shirt. Very cool!

My wife bought me a Marine Layer sweatshirt because she knew I loved the design. This thing feels like the old, comfortable sweatshirt you had as a kid. It’s amaaaaazing! ❤️ Ended up buying a t-shirt for Christmas and it’s my new favorite - both for the fit and softness. This is the best brand!

I am so in love with this store! The cashmere, the dresses, the sherpa coat and everything else makes me fall in love over and over. Reminiscent of the designs in the 70's is the fashion I adore! Just genius! I love you Marine Layer!

Amber provided some of the best customer service we have ever experienced, so we wanted to give her a shout out! We took advantage of the Respun shirt donation program and we will continue to turn in shirts to be recycled as needed so they don’t end up in landfills when they are worn out! :)

I found Marine Layer through an Instagram ad and was stoked when I found out they have a store near me. Decided to make the drive up today and was not disappointed! Customer service was awesome, especially Amber who checked on me regularly to see if she could help with anything (even though I was high maintenance and was there for literal hours trying on practically everything.) I am super impressed by this brand and will definitely be back. Keep it up Marine Layer!

I've been a Marine Layer customer for a couple years now with the occasional purchase at stores in Atlanta and San Fransisco, but mostly online. So glad this store opened up locally. I stopped in to shop and found that the store, the selection, and especially the nice and helpful staff met and exceeded my expectations. Best fitting, softest cottons, classic and timeless designs make these clothes worth buying and you will love wearing them, many compliments on their cool vintage styles that are hard to find with any other clothing companies. The return policy is a full year, which is unheard of and makes life so easy for people like me who suck at returning items in a timely manner so just end up giving them away at some point. Marine Layer is awesome

Had heard of the brand before, but walked into the store while waiting to be seated for dinner. Clothes are great quality and customer service was awesome. Really appreciate the business model as well. You can turn in old shirts for a $5 credit each they can respin them and make recycled clothing. Make sure to check out the rack of out of season styles as well. Nice discounts.

I discovered the Marine Layer brand a year or so ago. Big fan of their clothes and business model. I usually do my shopping online but the customer service I receive at this store is top notch, so I now make the drive cross town. Thanks Xavier, Jacq and rest of staff for always being pleasure to work with.

I love the amazingly soft clothing that I purchased at Marine Layer. It is the perfect blend of comfort, fabric and style! The super cute store is also conveniently located in the Scottsdale Quarter! Along with receiving tons of compliments on my style, I also love the fact that I can run in for a well received quick gift to give my friends. We are all wearing Marine Layer now!

One of the most comfortable fabrics I've ever purchased and worn. I'm amazed with the variety of unique sizes, styles, and colors they have for men. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. Weston helped me out a ton, quite knowledgeable and charming. He took his time educating me about the brand, and how their threads were wonderfully woven. The shirt I bought feels and looks better than the day I bought it. It's the most consistent worn shirt I've ever had. Mos def' be back to get a couple more tops soon. Thank you Marine Layer' and for your amazing staff at the Quarters!

Stopped in for a little shopping after seeing an afternoon movie. My wife and I walked around the store looking at items and were not acknowledged by the seated staff for the ten minutes or so that we were browsing. My wife picks up a shirt that I had tried on and takes it to the back of the store where the sales desk resides. Two young men and a young lady are sitting at the desk. One of the young men asked if we needed to try the shirt on. My wife let's them know that not only did they fail to acknowledge us in the store but that I had also tried on the shirt, unbeknownst to the store staff. The young man "helping" us goes by Aiden. Once the transaction was completed he asked which of the two bags we would like. We made our selection and this is where things got weird. Aiden began to wad the shirt up into a ball and stuff it into the rather small bag. I asked Aiden how long he had been working at Marine Layer and he responded by saying "why are you insulting me". I explained to Aiden that I simply asked how long he had been working there because most sales associates would fold a garment to put into a bag, not wad it up into a ball. I held my hand out, gesturing for the shirt which Aiden handed to me as he said "you're pissing me off". Excuse me? I just paid $168 plus tax, for a shirt that you chose to wad into a ball, and that's the response I get? Immediately asked for a refund. It took 30 minutes to process a refund. I asked the second young man if he worked at the store to which he replied "no". Not sure why he was sitting there, at the desk, with the staff but he was. I asked Aiden for contact information for a manager. Aiden reluctantly gave me a business card with store manager Bre's information. The young lady onsite must have been a manager of some sort, after making some excuses she did in fact apologize for Aidens actions. I called Bre before leaving the store and her voice mail picked up but I was unable to leave a voice mail message as her voicemail box was full. Oddly enough, Bre was on the phone with the store associate during the thirty minute refund debacle but I figure its Sunday, maybe it's her day off. Called two more times on Monday with the same results. Voicemail box full.
