I went to buy frames that were on sale bogo free, got to the check stand and they rang up 109.00, we told the cashier they were on sale,it was last week sale,he honored it,but the shelf tag said 99.00,by that time a long line started to form,he called for help and no one came,so I let the extra 10.00 go because I didn't want those customers wait any longer, I guess it was my bad for being kind to the other customers, but someone should of come up right away.

Seeking to buy a frame for a 16 by 16 photo plus other sizes. I was able to find the others, but 16 by 16 is not standard. so trying to get creative, I wanted to buy a larger frame and put matting around it. I sought the help of a lady behind the counter (with strong accent) for matting. I asked to see several matting options. She asked me if I wanted a custom framing and I said no (what I was framing was not worth the price of a custom frame). At that point she lost interest. She brought me some mats and placed them on top of the frame I had selected and told me I couldn't use the mat because it was going to cover up the photo. Really? How insulting to think that I would be stupid enough to buy a mat/frame that would cover up the photo. She needs to beef up her attitude and beef up on her customer service skills.

It took nine weeks to "complete" my project with Michaels framing department. Countless in-person visits. Endless wasted phone calls. And when it was all said and done, it wasn't. One framed print was acceptable (after a couple of fixes), but the other framed print, not so much. I was called 11 days ago to let me know that the final frame job was complete, but the department supervisor needed to review and "approve" the job before it was released. Yesterday, they finally called back to say it was indeed ready for pickup. Well, not only was the print hung upside down, but it was still framed incorrectly from what we had discussed, the mat board was off, and worst of all, they had damaged a print that I had paid hundreds of dollars for just a year ago.I'm not sure I've ever experienced this unique of a customer experience. Calling to check on the progress of this framing job, only to be disconnected at least a half of a dozen times on as many occasions. I even called the 800 number for customer service in the last two weeks who had the same problem - got hung up on two times. So, they said they sent an email to them on my behalf. Never heard a peep back. And the staff there just laughed the phone problem off, saying, "Yeah, our phones have been really messed up for weeks now." For weeks? That's crazy.In the end, it'd be one thing not to be completely satisfied because something wasn't quite right or that the customer service wasn't overly great, but these guys damaged my print. And they knew it. My compensation? I didn't have to pay for that particular frame job. Wow. That's like bringing your car to a dealership to have the oil changed, they damage the body while it's in the shop, and they don't charge you for the oil change.My recommendation to anyone considering Michaels for framing...DON'T! Just don't.

I came in there A bit intimidated not knowing a thing about framing , and Sara in the custom framing department. was so friendly and put me at ease she was helpful and a delight to work with.. as well as she cared about the customer and has a fantastic eye to detail. Thank you for the wonderful experience

The folks in framing department are so helpful. Sara made our family portrait look wonderful it brought tears to my eyes, we enjoyed every minute we got to spend chatting with her. The rest of the store is nice and clean and everyone is always so willing to help.

I was in your store the other day and the nicest lady named Sherry assisted me with my needs. She was very helpful in every way to make sure I was taken care of. This store has my future business due to Sherry. You are fortunate to have a nice person as she is.

I tried to resolve my issue with the store itself but the person I dealt with is somehow in management so I am writing this review in hope that others in the management team see this. I went into the store to have my pictures framed. I did not see anyone there so I tried to find someone. I found a lady with a framing apron on, she was helping someone so I waited my turn. She then asked me if I was looking for someone in framing. I said "yes", that is it. I was not rushed, angry or anything. She began raising her voice saying "I'll get back there...when I can.... I'm the only one in this whole place" she continued to rant so I said I would come back when someone nicer could help me. I dont know why she had to talk to me in that tone when all I said was yes. It was so incredibly rude. I later called to talked to a manager but it was her and she started again on her rant saying she would be there Thursday, Friday and the weekend. Thanks for the heads up I guess, I won't be coming back but literally omg please give this woman some sort of class in customer service.

Very large store with a wide variety of craft and decorative items from frames to furniture, supplies for arts and crafts and holiday specific decorations. The seem to be understaffed, which I know is an issue for most businesses. Be prepared to wait while checking out. Please click ? if this was helpful.
