Alisa did an amazing job! She was very flexible about scheduling fittings on Saturdays which was a godsend with my work schedule, and she finished all of the alterations well ahead of when I needed them. Would absolutely recommend her to a friend or family member. Thank you so much!

My mom and I can’t say enough amazing things about Alisa. She is a creative genius that was able to re-style my mom’s wedding dress that was 50 years old. She had a vision for the dress, but she worked with us throughout the process to incorporate our input making it a fun and collaborative process. At each session a little piece of the design came into fruition and she anticipated needs before we even thought of them. The final product was absolutely stunning! She captured the essence of the dress while also giving it new life. In addition to my dress, she also re-styled a dress for my mom and coordinated ties and pocket squares for the groom and the best man. My wedding was also out of state and she worked with me to ensure the dress was fully protected for transport. She also went the extra mile and had charms made for my dress, my mom’s dress, my flowers, and my kiddos’s tie to incorporate my dad into the wedding. Alisa is remarkably talented and the only one I would have trusted to take care of a dress that had so much meaning for my mom and I. I would highly recommend Alisa and Only the Best Bridal Couture.

alisa was professional and was extremely flexible with my schedule! She made sure I came out of her place feeling confident. I had custom sleeves made and she took her time finding the right sparkle to match my dress. She really made my wildest dreams come true!

Alisa is the best! She remade my bodice and made it look 10 times better than it did originally. She was wonderful to work with and everything came together perfectly. I loved my dress on my wedding day! Highly recommend her!!

The dress zipper Alisa installed broke the day of my wedding, a major seam came undone, and a couple smaller seams started to work free. I walked down the aisle with my dress safety pinned shut and seams coming apart. Alisa was difficult to work with towards the end, probably because she forgot my wedding date and had to rush alterations. She charged me extra at the end to make the alterations, even though the original job description had not changed. Her unwillingness to refund me money to cover the emergency seamstress who had to fix her errors was disappointing. Ultimately I paid a lot of money for a dress that was virtually unwearable the day of my wedding, even if some of the alterations, such as the sleeves were lovely. I would recommend looking for help from Danese Creations if you need major work done to a dress; they are professional and come well recommended.

My wedding dress was by Pnina Tornei from Kleinfeld and I had to find a seamstress who would handle my dress appropriately. Alisa has been fantastic since day one. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the various fabrics used in my dress and how to work with them. We had a total of 4 appointments and each time she made sure that her alterations met my vision and functionality. By the time we were done, I was in love with the dress all over again! Alisa was not only professional but also very personable and easygoing (she even accommodated my tardiness on two separate occasions). Alisa was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her services, especially if your dress cost you a pretty penny.

Save yourself the stress & heartache and go elsewhere. I wish I would have.I don't usually write negative reviews but feel my experience should be shared.Alisa was recommended to me by a friend who had used her before. In the initial appointment, it was discussed that I needed the bodice taken in, the dress hemmed, a bustle, two layers of crinoline taken out of the skirt and my veil had a small tear at the end that I asked her to fix.Two weeks before my wedding, I went in for my last appointment to pick up the dress. The hem was not complete & was still way too long. There was a layer underneath that had not been hemmed at all. We spent an hour and half while she took fabric scissors to the hem & cut it while I was standing in the dress. The bustle did not hold up the dress up & half of the train was still on the floor. We discussed that she needed more time to finish the hem and the bustle was not what I wanted & would not work. I was concerned someone would step on it. She became very defensive, saying it would cost more money (but didn't know the cost) to "change" the bustle & that Id need to come back the following weekend. While trying to discuss when I'd come back & exactly what needed to happen with the bustle, she started vacuuming while I was talking & acted completely unprofessional.After leaving that appointment, I was in tears with a pit in my stomach.I texted her later that day asking if I could pick it up mid to late week instead of the weekend because the weekend before my wedding was going to be busy enough. She said she'd check her schedule & get back to me. I waited until the following Monday and texted her again. An hour later she called me. Telling me that she didn't know how much time the "changes" I wanted to the bustle would take (which to me, these were not changes, they weren't done right to begin with) and she would call me later in the week to let me know, as she was fully booked the rest of the week with only a couple mid day appointments left and the next Saturday would likely be the only time I could come in. She then proceeded to tell me that at the last appointment, my dress made a mess on her floor with the glitter and lace she cut off. That she usually doesn't take Martina Liana dresses because they are complicated & she was doing me a favor from the beginning. Which when you're paying someone a lot of money for alterations, I don't know how they are doing you a favor?She was making me feel like this was somehow my fault and told me how tired she was & acted completely frustrated with me. In tears again, I had a pit in my stomach that I'd need to find another seamstress within two weeks of my wedding to finish the dress. We hung up the phone not knowing how much time she needed & that I'd wait for her call later in the week to see if I could get it before the weekend.My fiancé ended up calling her because I was so upset. I don't know what changed, but after talking to him, her script completely flipped. Within two hours of him calling that same day, she called me back saying that she'd have the dress done the same day & that I could pick it up that afternoon.Of course I went that day to get it. I will say that the hem was done & looked good. The top of the dress fit well. The bustle was still too long, but at that point, anything was better than what she had done at the previous appointment. She then charged me an extra $610 for the "change" in the bustle, added cups (which we did add on) and said that in her original quote, she didn't include taking out two layers of crinoline or fixing the veil so had added costs for that, which was simply not true.At this point I was so beside myself & just wanted my dress and to be done with her. I paid & left with the dress.The next weekend, a week away from my wedding, I took the dress to another seamstress to fix the bustle.If you're planning a wedding, you know this is the last th

Alisa is absolutely AMAZING and the BEST! I am so beyond grateful and blessed to find her. She is so kind, caring, genuine, and professional! Alisa knows what she is doing 110% and more! From our initial phone call, all the way until my wedding week, Alisa went above and beyond to make sure my dress fit perfectly and that I felt absolutely beautiful in my gown. Alisa was so easy to talk to, and she genuinely cares about each bride and their dress. She wants to make sure it is the best condition possible and she will never settle for less. I was originally worried about my dress alterations given my material and the fit. Alisa’s work was done so delicately and she was so patient with me throughout the entire process. I absolutely LOVED MY DRESS when Alisa finished with it and I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. Thank you Alisa for everything! Alisa was wonderful to work with! I ordered my courthouse two-piece dress from Fame and Partners, and she made sure it fit perfectly. I'd recommend her for any bride looking for their dress to fit them like it was made for them!

Well, let me start by saying how AMAZING Alisa is just as a person. She is not only talented, but helped me when I was in a pinch (to say the least) without thinking twice. I can't thank her enough for the service, and honestly you shouldn't look any further for your bridal seamstress/alterations/etc.The whole experience was great, her studio is clean and in a safe building, she is punctual with appointments and timing, and her work is wonderful. From what I've heard, her pricing is VERY competitive to others out there (I wasn't able to shop around due to last minute production issues for my dress) and I'll say how lucky I feel that I landed on such a great choice with Alisa at Only the Best. She worked on my wedding dress and jumpsuit that I wore at our welcome dinner and both came out PERFECT. She let me give my opinions, while also being honest about what would work/make sense. Thank you times a million, Alisa!!!

Alisa of Only the Best Bridal Couture is the BEST. She is incredibly knowledgeable and talented at her craft. I'm so glad I chose her for my wedding dress alterations! She is kind and will be honest about what can and can't be done with the dress. I needed some hemming, bustling, bodywork, and I added a slit. I'm confident if I took my dress in anywhere else I would have regretted it. Alisa brought my vision to life. :)

Alisa is the best!!!! I found my dream dress, but when it arrived it did not fit the way I wanted. I was hesitant to get it altered because of all of the beading and lace it had. I found Alisa and she didn't hesitate at all when I asked her if she would be comfortable working on it. I put my trust in her and I'm so happy I did!! She would make small changes and have me come back to try it on before moving on to the next fix. She made fittings fun and I always felt at ease. She truly knows what she's doing and I'm going to miss working with her. She made my dress fit like a glove and I felt so comfortable and beautiful in it my entire wedding day!

Alisa is truly amazing! I had originally went to a different seamstress who had great reviews. When I went to that seamstress she had told me everything I wanted done to my dress was unable to be done. I decided to not go with that lady and get a second opinion from someone else. I then stumbled upon Alisa’s business and decided to go in for an appointment. She immediately made me feel so comfortable and a sense of relief. Everything I wanted done she said she was able to do for me and then some! She was so professional and so kind! During a stressful time such as planning a wedding, she truly knew how to make me feel at ease especially with such an important part of the wedding as how the dress fits! She made multiple appointments for me to make sure the dress fit PERFECT (and it truly did). When I originally received my dress it was HUGE on me. I ordered a mermaid style dress and when I heard from the first seamstress she couldn’t make it fit like I wanted I was devastated. Alisa made me fall in love with my dress again and truly made it fit exactly how i wanted it to. I could go on and on but all in all, Alisa is truly the best at what she does! 10/10 recommend!
