Literally the worst experience ever. They have held onto our car for repair for MONTHS. This has been about 6 months now, and they still do not have a timeframe for when this will be done...

They took so much work that it took 2 months to get my car repaired. I even git a part for it that they were not able to get. NEVER had to wait this long in the past. The car was actually in their possession for 3 months. Rental car was expensive

Been waiting about 6 months for a car repair. No updates on their end. When I stop in or call, they just tell me they are waiting on parts that are backordered and that they have no clue when/if they will even be able to get them. Still no time frame for when the car will be done.

My Tesla was involved in an accident and was left non-drivable. Raintree Auto Body was extremely quick to get back to me and kept consistent and detailed communication throughout the process. I worked closely with Brett and he was routinely responsive. They were also patient with my insurance company, which shows how much they prioritize their customer. I had close to 20K in repairs and the car looks and drives good as new. If you have a Tesla, you have to expect a lengthier process as there are very few body shops in the area that are going to be able to do quality work like Raintree does. Much worth the wait.

We had our Tesla model Y get some damage from a small collision in a parking lot/. Our car was parked and the other drivers insurance paid it all. Start to finish went very smooth and work was done right. Returned our car early and cleaned it all up for us. Great customer service and workmanship.

I had been to this place before and had a good experience but today's visit was deplorable. I'm more frustrated with the estimator, Bob, than the establishment, but he's a poor reflection on their reputation. Bob has 0 tact. My wife was in a car accident this morning. Someone hit her and took off. Understandably, she was frustrated with the situation and flustered the rest of the day. When I joined her at this place for an estimate, Bob came out to look at the car. The damage was pretty serious and he said he could not provide us with an estimate unless we gave them the business and let them do a thorough inspection. I can understand if they need more time to provide a proper estimate, but to require that we accept them as the repair shop before providing the estimate was unprofessional. He told us that we "had his card" and that we could call him if we decided to go with them. He also rattled off several negative things like "easily over $10,000", and "we're going to have this thing for at least three months." All this knowing the events that occurred this morning. This man had no emotional intelligence and no tact in delivering difficult information. After layering on all the negativity, he tried to make a joke to my wife saying "please don't cry until I leave." It took everything I had not to punch the p***** As I was walking through the office to my car, Bob tried pulling me aside to ask if I understood him clearly, which asked with a different tone and circumstances could have sounded like he was concerned, but all I heard was condescension. We drove across the street and gave our business to another repair shop. I'm really disappointed because I wanted to go through this shop, but not with how we were treated.

They were not very nice the appraiser Brett DeBoatd, who looked at my car gave me an estimate 5 times higher than the other 2 body shops I went to. A three day job, he said would take 2 weeks. He should have said he didn't want to work on my car. I would never go there and I have a high end car AMG Mercedes.

If you need collision repair for your Tesla, avoid Raintree and go with the Tesla Collision Center in Tempe. Raintree's initial repair estimate was overly padded, about $8,000 more than my insurance company's estimate. Raintree assumed that the driver-at-fault's insurance had enough coverage and charged a body labor rate that was double my insurance's body labor rate. In addition, Raintree padded the repair list with unnecessary items (e.g., damage was localized to the right doors and rear quarter panel but the front right repeater lamp was listed needing replacement; 10 units of tape was listed for a single trunk spoiler, etc.). In the end, my insurance covered the repair cost and made Raintree reduce the cost by about 45%.Raintree's communication was not professional. When I asked about my car's repair status, Raintree (Bob) replied that they would work on it "tomorrow" or "next week"; they did not for nearly a month. After the repairs were finally completed (~90 days), I asked when my car would be ready. Bob replied that they would not release my car until my insurance paid a last-minute supplement of $21.50. I contacted my insurance for clarification, and my adjuster stated that there was no reason for Raintree to hold my car for ransom, especially for $21.50. I wound up paying that $21.50 on top of my deductible so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. Raintree eventually got the $21.50 from my insurance but never issued me a refund, so they basically stole my money! The repair quality is a mixed bag. The good: (1) the paint is flawless; and (2) the spoiler is perfectly attached. The bad: (1) the tint on my front and rear passenger windows was removed even though the glass was reused; (2) the tint on my rear quarter window was damaged; (3) the weather stripping on the front and rear passenger doors was misaligned, letting in wind noise; (4) the B pillar is slightly bent; (5) my hood was not damaged by the collision, but after the repair, I found scuff marks all along the edges, presumably because the hood was removed placed on the ground without protection; (6) the door handles are inset too far; (7) the rear seat was not clipped in fully; (8) the Dual motor and Performance badges were not attached; (9) interior surfaces had grit on them, as if they were exposed to the outside elements for a long time; (10) trunk molding on the damaged side is loose due to a detached clip; and (10) trash was left in my car. Thankfully, I immediately spotted the issues and asked for assistance from a tech. The tech attached the Dual motor badge, but I had to ask a second time for the Performance badge. As for the misalignment issues, I came back another day to resolve them. Raintree fixed the weather stripping but couldn't do anything about the misalignments due to tight tolerances. My insurance covered the retinting. My experience with Raintree was mediocre...3 stars out of 5. But I deducted 1 star because Raintree ransomed my car for $21.50. Verdict: I do not recommend this place to anyone with a Tesla needing collision repair.Services: Tires

My 28 year old Red Mercedes Benz 500SL was damaged in the front and back as a result of two accidents as it was being valet parked [ on two separate occasions ]. After 28 years of driving the car, there were NUMEROUS chips and spots missing form the paint. Raintree repaired the damage and repainted the whole car and returned to me what was , in effect, a brand new car.I was further shocked when I had occasion to open the front hood of the car and found that the inside of the engine compartment was TOTALLY clean. There was not one visible splash of oil nor dirt. The car looks like it just came off the auto dealers showroom floor.I cannot exaggerate how pleased I am with the service I received.I will NEVER use any other body repair shop than Raintree in PHX.Services: Painting

Having moved to Arizona in 2004 with our teenage daughter we have had occasions to take our vehicles to Raintree Auto Body. I recently had the oddest of odd accidents, my garage door started closing while I was backing in catching the antenna on my 2019 Lexus RX350. I live in Fountain Hills and Raintree is far from local and the labor price is not fully covered by Geico but given our past experiences opted to bring it there. The entire process was seamless and painless in no small measure due to Kara Meek and her partner Bob Casper negotiating the claim process. I received my car back in outstanding condition, the repair was perfect. They're not the cheapest, they're not the quickest but they are far and away the best.

Raintree was recommended by Signature Audio. Took in my Corvette in to be repaired after first body shop I went to totally messed up repair even destroying more than needed repair. At Raintree Bob Casper met with me and explained what needed to be done and a estimated return time. Kira helped with schedule and payment. During teardown more problems were found and Bob promptly called me and explained what and why with cost. Came in to pick up and was amazed at the great job they did. Looks great! If you want your car fixed correctly and look good you can't do better than RaintreeServices: Steering & suspension repair

I am so thankful for Raintree auto body, in the past six months I’ve had to take my Tesla to the shop twice due to being hit in a parking lot. Bob and Kara are Outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure I had top-notch service. The entire team understands true Customer Service and just as important, both times my car came back like it was never hit. I am so Thankful and highly recommend them! It is rare to find places that can do both customer service and excellent work! Thanks again Bob and Kara!!Service: Body & Trim
