NOT AN URGENT CARE, DON'T BE FOOLED. Arrived seeking urgent care for an open wound as their business name implies you can receive. A middle aged woman at the desk interrupted me in the middle of my sentence to say they did not have a provider in facility at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. What a joke. I really can not understand why you would even be open if there is no doctor on site. I will never return, and I hope nobody ever experiences what I experienced today.

This is NOT an urgent care. I went in the other day seeking care for a minor wound, they would not accept my valid insurance co pay of $60 and wanted to charge me $195. Awful staff, they are not set up for urgent care treatment in any way.

I went here because I was sick and all I got was run around because they said they didn't take my insurance! Then they found my insurance and made me change my provider to Dr. Williams who I never even saw. The provider I did see told me that I needed go home and take a covid and influenza test from home and if positive call them. I ended up going to the ER anyway! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I was going to come here but after calling. The receptionist was so rude to me. Very unprofessional. She’s sounded disorganized, stressed out, and sick of it. I don’t think she likes her job.
Anyways it deterred me from wanting to go there for urgent care.
Maybe find people who want to be there that aren’t so rude and stuck up. She had a chip on her shoulder for sure.
People need people who want to be at work, she definitely doesn’t want to be there.

Doctors and Staff are great! If you need a primary care doctor I highly recommend going here. The dr's take their time with you to make sure they answer all your questions and always follow up with you after your appointment. I never have to wait any longer then my scheduled appointment time which is great.
They are by far the quickest in getting you an appointment and most efficient health care office I've ever been too. They also offer allergy testing and treatment for your allergies which has helped my family and I so much since we started our treatment.
I think the negative reviews on this office is from years ago with different doctors and staff.

Dr. Crystal Cunningham is a top-notch doctor. She listens to your concerns and symptoms and is great at diagnosing the problem. She is always professional, friendly and positive with great follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Cunningham for all of your medical needs. She is also skilled in alternative treatments and thinks outside the box when needed.
The office staff could use some improvement, especially in how they answer the phone like they just rolled out of bed (lol), but they do get me in to see Dr. Cunningham when I need her, even on short notice, so they get the job done!

I feel compelled to share my deeply troubling experience at Scottsdale Family and Urgent Care where I recently worked. I want to caution potential patients and prospective employees alike about the serious issues within this facility. First and foremost, if you are in need of urgent or primary care, I strongly advise you to seek medical attention elsewhere. The conditions at this clinic are alarming. The cleanliness standards are shockingly low; I witnessed expired medications being administered to patients, and the surgical instruments used for procedures were not only unsterilized but often rusty. This is not only unacceptable; it poses a significant risk to patient safety. Patient privacy is also not taken seriously here. Medical records are haphazardly stored, with files carelessly piled in a closet, and there is no shredding company to ensure sensitive information is disposed of securely. Moreover, the clinic's billing practices are questionable; they frequently bill insurance under the names of different doctors and send prescriptions without proper oversight. There is no regard for patient confidentiality, as I've seen personal information shared via text messages among employees, lacking any form of security. The approach to patient care is equally concerning. Patients are often seen even when it's clear they cannot be properly treated, leading them to seek additional care elsewhere without receiving a refund for their initial visit. This is nothing short of unethical. Additionally, I noted numerous unresolved issues with lab billing that could lead to patients being unfairly charged due to incorrect coding. The work environment is chaotic and poorly managed. Employee turnover is rampant, as many are mistreated and leave out of frustration. I experienced this firsthand; despite my qualifications, I was left unpaid after two weeks of work because the owner disappeared and failed to respond to my inquiries about my paycheck. If you care about your health, I implore you to avoid Scottsdale Family and Urgent Care at all costs. And if you're considering employment here, I urge you to run in the opposite direction. This office desperately needs immediate oversight and intervention before more patients are put at risk.

Zero out of 5. Never open. Never answers the phone. Came in after a major car accident and they made me call my insurance company to get the address since it wasn’t on my car before they’d see me. Don’t care about your well being at all, only their co pay. After seeing them, I’ve been trying to track down a receipt for 2 months for my insurance company. They won’t answer the phone or call me back. Just stopped by at 11 am on a business day and the doors are locked. Most unprofessional and rude doctors office I’ve ever been to.

Dr Cunningham was very thorough and answered all concerns I had. Front desk people friendly and helpful. I would definitely go there again.

I've never been able to get them on the phone. They are not open 99% of the time during normally accepted business hrs. Roughly 9-5 Monday-Friday. I've only once in almost 4 years seen anyone working here. I met a lady at Starbucks down the road 2 years ago who claimed to be the office manager at the time during a conversation who admitted to me that she felt relatively certain this office was a front for some form of illegal activity due to the fact that as far as she knew, at the time anyway, she was the only existing employee. She said there weren't even any medical personnel on staff, and she was hired over the phone and received the keys in the mail. I recently tried to make use of the supposed urgent care at 2 pm on a Wednesday, only to find it closed with no indication of if or when anyone would ever be there. I can only speculate as to whether or not this is a functional business at all. I also have no direct knowledge of anything illegal. However, I also don't understand how this place is in business if there is no one there EVER that I have personally witnessed. Something (in my opinion) is super sketchy about this place. The only time I have ever witnessed any indication of life (or use) the person there practically screamed at me as I attempted to enter at roughly 11 am on a weekday about 6 months ago "We're closed. Come back next week." When I tried to speak, just to ask when next week. Before I could even get halfway through my question, the man then actually screamed louder (probably as loud as he was capable) and just repeated his prior statement. Adding "NOW GET OUT!" Before practically pushing me out the door and locking it behind me. Don't go here. I'll never try to again.

This practice is an absolute joke. The office manager is never there but promises to get back with me for a simple billing that they charged our card for and refuses to submit a bill to us. Told multiple times the office manager is working on it and will call me. The doctor is never there in an attempt to escalate the matter. They took our money but won't provide an invoice that's all I want. It has been months.
