If you ultimately tire of dealing with bank clerks who would not recognize you if you saw them 3 times a day, have no patience for the high school grads the big banks attempt to employ who have no concept of customer service then you are likely ready to enjoy banking here. Love these folks!

Just like other people are reviewing this bank I’ve had the same problem. I was even able to send in a payment early instead of them applying it towards my monthly payment, they used it for late fees. Therefore I’m still a month behind and are still charging me late fees. They’re more of a loanshark then a bank. Everybody beware. And their so-called manager Colin S. has absolutely no empathy or customer service. In fact, he’s very rude And told me that’s how their system works. I can’t believe that in 2020 there are still banks with such poor customer service.

Outstanding customer service. It's extremely refreshing to actually speak to someone at the bank instead of an automated attendent or a representitive in another country. Kris was helpful, responsive and honest in assisting us through our loan process. We look forward to working with Stearns in the future, they truly care about our business and were there for us when our primary big bank wasn't.

I own a tidy small business. 22 employees. COVID-19 is having an effect. My personal and commercial bank, WF, couldn't take PPP loans at first because of their financial malfeasance in the past. My SBA bank wasn't sure how to process PPP loans. With first-come, first-served, limited funds available, speedy PPP applications are essential. I cold-called Stearns at 3pm the day PPP opened and our funds deposited today, less than two weeks later. No overt pressure to open an account, no baloney of any kind, just speedy help for my employees and their families. Jen T., Raeann S., I hope you know this is good work. I haven't done business with Stearns before but when the dust settles, I will be looking to do so. I see in the email signature "We get the job done!" Darn right, you do. THANK YOU.

Started working with Zach Noreen about 3 months back for financing 4 Trucks. Right from the beginning, he was prompt, courteous, understanding & supportive. The entire process for closure took us a long time (not because of any fault of Stearns bank or of Zach') & during the entire process, he held our hand, was helping me at every step and worked with me like a partner. I was and I am very impressed with how Zach took care of our company and I will make sure that I give him a call when financing my next truck. Thank You Zach, it was a pleasure working with you.

Perfect bank for my needs, I have 2 business checking accounts there, and several personal accounts. Always friendly and helpful, staff does not change frequently as in so many other banks, personal touch to everything they do.

Beware, I contacted Stearns Corporate regarding SBA financing, 75 days later, delay after delay, 30-40 days to review documents, the final straw: unknown to me, they filed a lien against my business for a loan that had never been completed, funded, or even signed for.

27 equipment loans over 14 yrs. in business, seven remained. Never go back!!!! terrible customer service, all new equipment contracts Will give the competition who values my business. Stay away.

Excellent and friendly customer service. I've banked here for years, was going to move everything into one bank a few years ago, but Stearns gave me the direct deposit number, so i kept it and it has saved me in many bad situations down the road! It's difficult in this day and age to manage money, but Sterns operates on a straightforward basis, which in the business world, is much appreciated.
