Hi, I am a customer of the FLW store. I referred my brother in for a battery today. He called ahead and spoke with Mark who quoted him $250 including a 5 year warranty for a battery for his Hummer. Dan went in a noon and Mark told him the battery guy was on lunch and that Dan needed to come back at 2. Dan did so. When he arrived he checked in with Mark and by 2:30 the Hummer was taken back. The tech came and sat down next to Dan and told him that the battery was very expensive, $450 with a 5 year warranty. Dan was shocked. He went over to Mark who said the price was really $450 and not $250. Mark said that sometimes these batteries are more expensive. Dan told Mark that he could get the same battery at Batteries Plus for $180 with a 2 year warranty. Mark stuck to his $450 price. Dan was outraged, felt baited and switched and left the premises. I called and spoke Eric at the same location. I told him this story. He said that Mark quoted from his experience without actually looking up the car. I said that Sun Devil should honor the price that Dan was quoted and Eric said that was not possible but he would speak with Mark about his quoting the next time a Hummer comes in. This is just not acceptable. My brother came to your store on a positive recommendation, was baited and switched and sent packing. This is bad business and that shop should be ashamed of itself. My brother now has to take more time off work on another day and go find a battery elsewhere. We will not be back and I will be telling my friends just how I feel about Sun Devil Auto.Update 11/8/24. It's now been two weeks since Sun Devil asked me to take this discussion offline and contact through their support email. I did that immediately and never heard back. It is really unfortunate when a business asks a customer to take a complaint offline and then does not address it.Service: Battery

Good use of technology. I just got a basic oil change because that's all I really needed. I liked how they asked ahead if there was anything in particular I wanted them to look at during the multipoint inspection. I also liked how I got a list of the items they checked and the stats for my tires and brakes before they called me to discuss. It was very important to me that they treated me respectfully and didn't try to unnecessarily upsell me anything.Service: Oil change

I would not recommend. To start; I should have been notified they were having issues with apple pay. Other locations were also able to verify that apple pay has been an issue. I was without my car for 3 extra days due to this as I just moved here and was having my new bank card shipped. They claim my card getting denied over apple pay was an issue on the card/bank’s end, but I verified everything with my bank and the bank said it is something that is put in place with this location’s POS system. Sam claims they stopped offering the pay-link option after covid, which again, is a joke in itself. On top of that, not being able to have a solution (other than having the physical card in hand) for a customer that is wanting to pay them $2.5k for overpriced repairs is absurd. I will not be back. Upper-Management lacks brain cells. They’d rather waste their customer’s time and overcharge for a half-a**ed repair job. Stay away from this location. My car’s work should not have taken longer than 8hrs total to work on. Some how I got charged over $1300 in labor plus the parts which seemed overpriced as well. To top it all off, after I got my car back and drove it a little bit, I noticed a very off smell coming from the engine. 3 of the parts had plastic left on them and 2 had paper tags on them-both of which would be very hazardous and could start a whole fire/destroy my car.I’d recommend anywhere else besides sun-devil auto. Poor business practices, poor upper-management. No call back from Jonathan at corporate office, who was supposed to reach out when I was dealing with all of this.

Excellent friendly service. I have been using this Sun Devil Auto shop for several years for all my service needs and have always been very satisfied with all the work they have performed. I have to give credit where credit is due...I believe every business experiences customer service issues but the General Manager(Mark) completely surprised me by the way he handled a mistake. Not only did they fix the mistake but he gave me a FREE oil change! It caught me totally off guard and it made my week! Thanks Mark & the wonderful Sun Devil Auto team at this location!

The work and customer service is always good just for future reference for improvement please make safety priority when dealing with customers vehicles and always be aware of your surroundings when reversing a customers vehicle. Other then that they always do good work.

Sun Devil Auto helped us replace an alternator and fix a few minor issues. My husband and I communicated with Sam who was very helpful on the phone and in person. The whole team was very quick, honest, and had great prices for the work they did compared to most auto shops around. Would definitely go there again!

Fantastic! I had the pleasure of visiting Twin Peaks recently and had a fantastic experience. The standout of the evening was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the bartenders, Nicole and Bailey. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly elevated my visit. Not only did they craft delightful drinks, but they also made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my time there. Kudos to Nicole and Bailey for their outstanding service – they are a true asset to Twin Peaks! I can't wait to return for another enjoyable evening.

Dropped my car off here today with a basic repair of three dashboard lights flashing (oil, routine maintenance and airbag off). The store called me to tell me the car was ready, and never told me that they did not remedy one of the issues for which I had dropped it off or there were any problems with my repair request. When I got in my car I realized one of the items (airbag light) was still on and not fixed. I was extremely frustrated since my car had been at the shop for nine hours that day, and I had to pay to Uber to and from work, making it extremely inconvenient to have to return another day to fix this issue. The store was unwilling to have anyone look at it while I was still there and the clerk, Sam, was super unsympathetic to my problem and unapologetic that anything went wrong which makes the matter even worse, He simply put his hands up in the air and said nothing he can do. This was my first time using this auto repair shop and I will not be returning. What a disappointing experience.Service: Electrical repair
