I happened to stop by the showroom in Scottsdale while on a trip to see a football game in Tempe. Immediately upon entering, I was struck by the beauty of all of their doors on display. After a thoroughly insightful discussion, I decided to order a pair of doors for my front entry. While initially, a little apprehensive about ordering (since I live in Oregon), I trusted in the responsive and professional conversations I had with David Woodley. The doors were truly custom, with knotty walnut with horizontal metal strips.
The process took several months (of which I was informed and accepted), and delivery was within a few days of the projected period. And boy was I glad I had made the purchase! The doors are beautiful and I've received endless compliments about them. David always kept me informed, and worked with me in sending samples of the various wood stains as well as the metallic samples of the decor. He and his crew are extraordinary examples of how businesses should operate, and for which I am extremely thankful in both my experience with them, and for their service.

Spent 20 k on 9 doors, we went back and fourth on details but when I paid thousands extra for walnut jams and they primed them with paint not clear coat like I assumed I was getting with this wood… who in their right mind would pay extra for walnut then paint it. Even if it was a misunderstood communication I should have been asked and not a chance I would have painted an expensive wood. Not happy at all!!

Worked with April in the showroom and Dave on the install for both main entrance and casita doors. The doors were just installed this past wk and look marvelous with a quality finish and fit that I was expecting from this Co. Both individuals are easy to work with and forthright in whole process of door replacement.I reviewing prior comments, these are WOOD doors and replaced 15 yr old WOOD doors. The sun and moisture will adversely affect any wood product. I am currently adding gutters to my courtyard to minimize the splash of water on the doors from rain fall on to the tile.Dave went over periodic(annual) maintenance with these doors which is pretty simple; anyone who lives in the high Sonoran desert ought to know this...

I highly recommend Sun Mountain Doors! Now that I work from home, I needed an office door to sound-proof it from the rest of the household activities. Working with Sun Mountain Doors, I ordered a custom knotty alder double door with side panels and arched transom to match the other doors in our home. The entire process was very professional and working with David and April was easy with good communication. The doors are beautiful, well worth the wait and I absolutely love them!

I ordered a Dutch door in poplar and primed for painting. The ordering and delivery were excellent. The door hasn't been installed yet, because... try building a place these days.

Not at all happy with our purchase. These doors are extremely expensive and do not hold up! We have had our door less than a year, and it has completely faded and changed colors..the wood looks yellow!! It was a nice shade of brown when we purchased. We of course contacted the company, they basically said too bad.

Unwilling to resolve an error for the customer. Their representative measured and identified all door swings. They ordered the wrong swing and our door swings into the bedroom blocking light switches, etc. They were completely unwilling to resolve this, reorder or attempt to help. They blamed this on us, the customer-not the professional, as we signed their paperwork. I would not purchase from this company and would recommend to the company that this is the cost of business in keeping your customers happy. Extremely disappointed.

I requested a quote for a wood exterior door, and David actually advised me not to use wood based on my home's exposure and lack of overhang. Although I'm not a customer, I was impressed with his honesty and responsiveness.

Do NOT buy if David is the sales rep! The door we purchased was $6000. We also purchased barn doors for an additional $5000. One would hope that they would receive support from the sales person if a problem arose. WRONG!!!! Our lock set , $1200, arrived and it was the wrong type for our door. Not only did DAVID order the wrong lock set but he refused to help find a solution to the problem.

Terrible quality!!!We ordered a custom rift oak front door and paid a pretty penny for it. It has only been THREE months since it was installed and it has warped, water has seeped in through the cracks causing swelling and splitting of the seams. Our kids cannot even open the door anymore. On the quote it said the door is covered by a warranty so we called today and were told since the door did not have an adequate overhang above it, the warranty is void. When their salesman David came out to our house to measure for the door, he did not mention AT ALL that this door would not be covered under warranty. I can't imagine what this door will look like in 5 years .. if it even lasts that long. We have had 2 rain storms since it was installed and it is ruined. Run from this company!!! Terrible quality and even worse customer service.

Do NOT buy from this company. We ordered and paid for over $30,000 in doors for our home. Their contractor came out and ordered everything. One door is wrong. No big deal; replace it right?!!! They refused and said we have to pay for replacement even though they ordered incorrectly. After months of haggling they offered for us to pay for half of their mistake and wanted to add on an additional $250 processing fee. We refused and filed complaint against them with Better Business Bureau. Apparently they don't care..,talk about not standing behind your product or services.
