First of all I don’t know why we waited so long to stay at The Scott! My husband and I choose to do our anniversary weekend here and it did not disappoint! We had exceptional service the entire stay! My favorite part was The Canal Club….If you get a chance to stop in, do it!!! Also a ton of amazing spots for picture opportunities!!!

Very disappointed in this quote. "Resort" expected more for the price I paid.

The Scott is beautiful and super cool. The staff were fantastic, f the moment we stepped on property. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with mature plants, meandering pathways, and secret little spots. The two pools were great, as was the pool bar and snacks. Renovated rooms were comfortable, clean, and we loved the aesthetic. This hotel has a vibe, and it’s a popular wedding venue. Even though there was a wedding going on, and the hotel was busy, it was easy to find places to relax. The resort is compact. When the wedding reception was happening, it was not possible to escape the noise, even in the room. It was very loud. For this reason, we probably wouldn’t come back on a weekend. I bet it’s quiet during the week! Also note that the cabanas state they include champagne, and they do not anymore. I’m not sure they’re worth the $400 price tag without some more amenities, though the sunkit and cold waters were welcome. In all, a fun weekend getaway.

Sad google wont allow me to leave 0 stars. This place was absolutely disgusting, and the 17 year old idiot behind the check in desk couldn’t write her own name down if you spelled it for her. Black mold and broken tiles in the shower, bugs on the floor. After asking the manager to come see the room and tell me she can’t leave the front desk she calls me a liar and assures me its water stains. I go to the front desk to get my money back and leave this health hazard of a crack house and ask for the general managers info so I can leave my opinions, the security guard goes to my room confirms the mold is unacceptable and then proceeds to refuse any Info I requested so the police were called on me for asking for a receipt of my refund and a managers name or card. These cowards wouldn’t even own up to their mistake, they called the police after I voiced my concern unhappy because vs making it right. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, leaving multiple reviews everywhere, posting all pictures and story on social media, news outlets have already reached back out to me to get the story and pictures of the health hazard. As well as the health department for Arizona. This place should be shut down. Hospitality business? More like liberal crybabies who charge 700/night for a 45/night motel experience. Would sleep in a cleaner bus stop bench with a homeless meth head before I stayed here for free.Rooms: Health hazards with bugs and black mold

If I could this would be a zero. This place is obviously more concerned about their bar and restaurant than the hotel guests. Moldy shower. Musty smelling room that hits you when you open the door. Dirty sheets. Bugs on the wall. Not maintained. How this place is labeled five stars is beyond me. Disturbing behavior from the hotel manager also unwilling to tend to guests needs. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Beware.

Stayed here on two separate occasions - loved both times!Located in central Scottsdale, the Firesky is a business travellers dream - offering excellent fully equipped meeting/conference rooms, wifi and a gorgeous pool for relaxing after a long day of work.

-Not so friendly front desk-When we got there and got to room there was someone in our room which was off.- had a king bed frame with a queen mattress, they changed our room which was nice- way too expensive and not so great of a place- service was just bad they all seemed like they didn’t want to be working

I can't tell you how thankful I found The Scott for our global team offsite. The grounds, rooms, F&B, everything was perfect. The team was so responsive and I felt so supported by the entire crew. Everyone couldn't stop raving over how well everything was run, organized, and put together. This will be on the top of my recommendation list for anyone doing an event in Scottsdale. 10/10.Rooms: The rooms were so adorable and maintained so nicely. Will definitely be back!

From the minute we checked in until leaving, nothing was going right. When we arrived at 4:20 to check-in, we were told the rooms weren't ready despite check-in at 4 PM. The front desk gal spoke to a manager and somehow we got a room. Then the TV didn't work. Then the Internet didn't recognize my name and room number - not valid! Then later, after coming back from a cold rainy evening out, we couldn't get the heater to work - 11:30 at night we had the (dis)pleasure of maintenance in our room fixing the heater. While the hotel granted us an additional hour checkout the following morning, housekeeping took it upon herself to enter the room despite the privacy tag ON the door!!!! That topped everything and when I tried to speak to her, her English was not good and she followed me back to the room and tried to enter!!! I shut the door and called the front desk. The room was somewhat charming, the patio was nice, but the service was unbelievably bad.

Two weeks ago, approximately 50 of my work colleagues and I stayed here for a work meeting. To be fair, there were a few positives. The food service during the meetings was excellent, especially the lady making omelets at our breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The car and driver service was very nice for getting to/from restaurants. There were numerous areas to hang out around the property for after dinner cocktails and conversation. The negatives? Security is non-existant! One day at breakfast, a coworker asked "does anyone know what happened to the blue truck behind building D?" Steve (you'll see his review) jumped up and started heading to the parking lot. Yep, there is his brand new truck, on blocks, in the parking lot right outside the building where both our rooms were. He worked months planning this event to be a wonderful experience for his teammates to have this happen. He was stuck in that parking lot dealing with this issue for 10 hours, missing a full day of meetings and our evening dinner and fun event at Popstroke. Given that the police said this has happened 4 times in the past year, it seems systemic. Is it just that section of the parking lot because it's too dark and there is a driveway to a side street? Is there someone working there tipping a crew off that there's a really nice vehicle parked there? Why wouldn't the hotel have beefed up security by this point? So many questions! This happened on a Wednesday morning. I didn't check out until Friday. Given that all gate locks had been removed and anyone could enter the hotel grounds, it definitely gave me pause walking back to the room alone after midnight. The entrance to my building was tucked behind a stairwell about 20 feet from the gate with no lock, directly adjacent to the driveway out onto a side street.Think twice before staying here, especially if you have a really nice vehicle. And, ladies, I wouldn't recommend walking the grounds alone given anyone can walk in off the street at any hour. There is no roving security on-site.They did offer my friend a one-night hotel voucher. That's something, right? He's thinking about framing it.Safety: Security is non-existent. Gate locks to the grounds have been removed. Colleague's brand new truck was stripped of wheels and left on blocks.
