This Ulta does not have great brand representation of minority and woman owned companies as well as product representation for all hair types. Undefined Beauty and Keys are two brands this location neglects to carry. Additionally, out of over 30 hair dryers, they carried exactly 1 with a comb attachment and they do not sell the Pattern Beauty hairdryer. Whoever is in charge of inventory and representation please address this.

Showed up for curbside pickup, hit I’m here, waited 10mins and no one came. Clicked “Call store” and it’s linked to my phone number…Ended up having to go in and wait in line to get it.

Stopped in quickly to buy my son cologne. The sales associates were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also excited the holiday items are out!

I use the Ulta website to make my haircut and single-process color appointments. I also order cosmetics online. Stylist Kirsten is great every time. The salon is very clean. Ulta website is good when ordering products but isn't my favorite for making appointments for services on-site. The typeface is tiny, 6 pt or smaller on web browser. 2FA is awkward.Regardless, I am a satisfied, repeat customer of Ulta at this Scottsdale location!

Went in here with an idea of what I wanted but not exactly. Gabby helped me out and was so nice, helpful and honest about the choices she had for me and I didn't have to walk out spending a fortune. ?

I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding. I was unhappy with the makeup while I was in the salon, but there was not time to re-do it. As it was, the appointment took much longer than expected and I was almost late for my own wedding. I got the professional photos today and I am heartbroken. The makeup was worse than I thought, and Ulta ruined my wedding.I showed the stylist actual photos from six months earlier, when I had my hair and makeup done for my daughter’s wedding. We noted that I wanted to look natural, but better. The makeup I received was a Goth style. When she asked if I wanted lashes (which I checked when making the appointment), I was told to get out of the chair, pick them out, and pay for them at the main register, with 3 people in line ahead of me! I couldn’t add them to my salon bill. That was part of why my session went beyond the two hours estimate I had when I scheduled the session. My appointment was at 11, I arrived early, and I told her I needed to be done by 1. I left at 1:45.I was supposed to meet the photographer at 2:30. I was late, my nails weren’t done, and my makeup was terrible. I had to cancel the nail appointment because she took so long. I had to ask her twice to look at my eyebrows because they were uneven. I had to ask her twice to use more blush. I mentioned that due to my age, I would need a lipliner, due to creases around my mouth. I was horrified when I saw that she used BLACK liner! I didn’t have time to start over, I was already late. She said she would fix it by covering it with more lip color, which did not work. In my photos the black lip liner is prominent and hideous!Most disgusting of all, I asked about buying the lip color so I could touch up and possibly keep the black liner hidden. She directed me to the Too Faced display with the tubes she used. I discovered she had used the TESTERS from the display! She used the applicators from the tubes, the ones that other people has used to test the products! I was so disgusted I just left, did a quick coat of polish at home, and rushed to the photographer.As for my hair, I showed he a picture of a simple half-up style. She did a more elaborate braid, with my ok, and left some pieces out. She said she would curl them last. At the end, she tried to tell me my hair was finished, and I had to remind her to curl those strands.When I saw some photos friends took, I was shocked by how terrible the makeup looked. The manager, Paige, did refund me the cost of the makeup. However, now that I have seen the professional photos, I believe Ulta ruined my wedding, I can’t re-do that day.I’m still shocked that the testers are used for the salon makeup application.That is so unsanitary and probably against licensing.Sorry this is so long. I decided to post this review because I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Do not go to Ulta for a special occasion. It’s expensive, take too long, and you will look worse than when you arrived.

This Ulta is not handicap friendly at all. I visited with my aunt who needs a wheelchair and we were having a lot of trouble navigating the store. At one point she accidentally got caught on a display and the sales associate that was standing nearby who ABSOLUTELY saw this happen, just stood there and watched while I got my aunt unstuck and checked if she had any injuries from getting scraped by the display. It wasn’t until we had checked her over and we’re finally starting to leave the area and I was about to put the display back in place she FINALLY came over and was like “I’ll handle it ma’am!” And did the absolute bare minimum of sliding the display back into place. There was ONE associate who was helpful, attentive, and kind. She helped us find a few items and checked us out. Really poor experience overall.

I booked a color/cut with Morgan. She was super kind and did an amazing job. I despise getting my hair cut; it gives me so much anxiety. Day 2 and I love it. Thank you, Morgan. I will definitely rebook with you.

I have a port wine stain on my cheek, I came in looking for something that would cover it effectively after learning how expensive laser treatment was. Two sweet and wonderful professionals helped me immediately and made me feel beautiful. They color matched and also suggested this incredible primer. I’ve tried everything from color correctors to heavy concealers and I’m still in shock how quickly they solved my problem. I only wish I got their names, thank you for a wonderful experience!

I had my brows laminated by Rena. She not only knew my current shape was wrong for me, but took the time to explain the eyebrow shape that fits my face better. She is so kind and fun. Most of all TALENTED. She knows her stuff and my brows have not been happier! Thank you Rena!!!
