In my many years of purchasing vehicles, Van Chevrolet just gave us the #1 WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF ALL TIME. Lied to verbally and in writing, no follow-up up and sill don't have all we were promised. If I could give a ZEOR star review, I would. You should be embarrassed to call yourself a Berkshire Hathaway dealership.

Worst company to try and get ahold of a live person in the finance department regarding gap insurance. Just the run around, unanswered messages. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS due to customer service sucks

Update: See the Response from the "Owner" below. Outrageous! Are the business processes and communications processes so dysfunctional and broken, or the employees so lazy, at Van Chevrolet that whoever wrote the response below can't contact Becky or Anna and have them take the appropriate action??? Why does is require me to engage with this exceptionally poor dealership AGAIN??? If the Sales General Manager can't get me off of their call sheet, what possible confidence would I have that these two women buried deep in the organization will be effective? Repeat: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH VAN CHEVROLET! MAKE NO CONTACT WITH THEM IN ANY FORM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HOUNDED AND HARASSED FOR THE REST OF YOUR NATURAL LIFE.I have repeatedly asked the sales team and sales manager to remove me from any and all sales marketing databases and to STOP CALLING ME!!! They refuse to do so. Do I have to get an attorney involved? Get a restraining order? What does it take to STOP BEING CALLED??? They make it impossible to speak with the general manager of the dealership; he’s NEVER in the office! AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP…they will be calling you and your heirs long after you’re dead.

If I could if given a zero stars I would of. The customer service is terrible at this location and I'm a GMS customer. I paid for the extended warranty with the maintenance package and never received it. I have been calling, emailing and texting Sammy the finance manager and he's not been able to fix it for over 3 months. You call the dealership and they all pass the buck to someone else. They are only interested in selling you a car not taking care of you afterwards. I have asked for the owner, GM and Sales manager and no one called me back. However someone did call me asking if I was interested in buying a new car So now I'm calling General Motors and the BBB tomorrow and file a complaint. Then if no action is taken I'm filing a lawsuit.

UPDATE::: I had to get a lawyer involved this company is very janky unprofessional crooks DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED….. signed the paperwork in July and they didn’t close out the deal until today Nov 7 2023 I’ve been . paying for the Chevy equinox for nothing the deal wasn’t even valid ( pass 90 days ) but they never paid off the 2017 Honda I traded in ?????? that’s why they kept calling me cause they didn’t receive the payoff….. For the trade…..A BIG MESS I have emails text and also proof of everything…THIS COMPANY MESS UP BIG TIME.Had my car for 3 months, already have issues with my censor 2023 Chevy equinox RS….. finance department is very unprofessional and lack customer service. 1# I traded my 2017 Honda Accord for a 2023 Chevy equinox RS. Upon purchasing my vehicle, I have gotten over 10 to 15 calls because the finance department has not processed the sale of my vehicle. I literally was paying for a vehicle that wasn’t even financed yet because they didn’t pay off the trade with my Honda accord . #2 My credit has shot down drastically because it still shows that I own my old car ( the Honda accord) when speaking to Garcia about this matter, ( the agent that helped us ) he states the finance department is very slow and that they have other customers that’s dealing with the same issues. ( THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE) We are almost 4months later and I’m still getting calls. I have told them several times that I do not own this vehicle anymore and that I have already purchased my new car. I have called several times even spoke to the agent Garcia again for the fourth time and to no avail. Nothing has changed my credit has still shot down. Also, I still keep getting calls about me owning my Honda Accord once again, which I don’t own anymore because I traded it in for the Chevy equinox, every time i call this company Scottsdale Chevy they give me the runaround then they send me a check for $60 ( that didn’t make since or help my credit score go back up. I made a bad decision and that’s on me, but never again . 3# I still haven't got a copy of my purchase agreement after talking to six agents and leaving my email six times ,NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER ??????????????

Bought our Tahoe from these clowns and that was totally my bad...They sell you on the service packages again my bad...Any type of service you need they tell you that they will need the car 3-5 days...Are you kidding me... I have the oil change package as well, I go and pay for oil changes because I can't leave my truck all day. They told me that is how it is everywhere, I walked out and called another local Chevy dealer. Guess what, got an appointment and was told maybe 1 hour max to figure out what the service light was about. Van wanted my truck 3 days just to tell me what the light means... Done doing business with these clowns...

I spoke to a service writer on the phone to schedule an appointment. I dropped off my car at the scheduled time but two days later.....they hadn't even looked at my car. I was advised it could take two more days before they could look at it because they were busy. The service writer was very condescending by using phrases such as you should know we are busy if you have ever used a dealership before. I promptly picked up my car at day 2 in the afternoon without any service nor even a mechanic looking at it. There were several other customers picking up their cars too without any service done. So beware....if you need a place to park your car for 4 days with no service, this is your place.

Husband and I have purchased 3 vehicles from this location. First one wasn’t too bad, second one we left regretting our purchase after feeling forced to go into a vehicle we really didn’t want. This most recent was the worst we thought if it was just the sales person, nope it’s every single department. I’ve never had such a horrific experience with a dealership ever before. Payment went up $100 more than what we were originally told, it took them 1 month to figure out the financing, then when they “figured it out” they paid off the wrong car then we were told we needed to make a payment on our old vehicle (which they had already sold) to avoid a ding on our credit. Getting a call back or answers from anyone is like pulling teeth. We will just never be back to this dealership ever again. Sands Chevy in surprise is much better in their customer service and service department and dealership in general. Avoid at all costs. Our sales person was nice it was just every other department.

On a pleasant day, we visited Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale with the aim of buying a family car in preparation for the arrival of our new baby, due in January. We invested our savings and even sold our old van to complete this purchase. The safety features of the Honda Odyssey impressed us, but we were bemused by the presence of a warning light on the dashboard indicating a technical flaw. The sales representative assured us, it reflected minor issues with timing belt water pump, TPMS, and wheel sensors, all of which would be resolved as part of the 'we owe' agreement. However, we were disheartened when only code erasure was done instead of the promised repairs, under the pretext that the vehicle was safe. Despite this misleading act, we collected the car from the dealership, trusting there commitment to send a $200 check for the inconvenience—which we never received. The engine light and other warning codes resurfaced the very next day, prompting us to return to the dealership. Although your team initially promised to rectify the issue, these commitments remain unfulfilled, and we were further informed that the 'we owe' document would no longer be honored. So how are we supposed to recommend a dealership that actually does not honor their customers by providing a safe vehicle?A mans word is all i need to trust someone. A mans word is BOND and should be trusted. But for you to write it down and sign to promise to take care of it is on another level.Life leason learned.THIS HAS BEEN THE WORSE CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFE.My family and i will be telling the whole world about our experiences. We would have rated the experience a 5 stars if they onlySold us what was promised. We end up selling our beloved trusted van and end up with a van that has problems that we need to get fix to become a trusted family vehicle for my pregnant wife to drive.

Would give a lower review if possible. Absolutely no response in over 2 weeks of trying to get a refund from dealership. Left messages and asked for help to resolve a promised refund. In this world where customer service is already non existent these guys set a new bottom. Had to go all the way to Chevrolet Corp to get them to act. Would never do business with them in a million years.

I see zero upside dealing with this business. If you're buying new they will up charge thousands over the sticker. If you need a repair they will never call back because it doesn't make them money.

Bought a CPO truck on August 25 2023. I had a good buying experience and felt I was treated fairly. The reason for 2 stars is because I was told this vehicle had no prior accidents, and the Carfax showed no accidents. However on September 14 2023 I received a call from my insurance saying there was an accident and claim made back on March 1 2023. I asked the dealership about this and they said they had no prior knowledge of the accident but I don't know if they are completely truthful. If I had known about the accident I likely wouldn't have bought this truck, as I'm not confident about the repairs and potential future problems down the road as a result. Overall I like the truck and try not to feel down, but it is disappointing. I just want leave a review to let buyers know that the Carfax they provide doesn't always show the true history of the vehicle.

UPADTE: I sent an email to the customer service department as requested in the reply. 5 days later and NO RESPONSE to that either. Very disappointing.Honestly, I can’t say enough about their sales dept. Great experience! Up until I was supposed to get a $500+ refund on my registration from my trade in. Spoke to their finance dept twice. Was told that the check was cut back in July and here we are the second week of September. To date, I still haven’t received my refund nor does anyone bother to call me back after 8+ phone calls and messages to see what my options are. I would have left a 5 star review if it wasn’t for their lack of assistance and communication with this issue. They are literally holding an entire car payment and refuse to return calls. Sorry but not acceptable customer service.

These people are about as low as you can go. Not only did they lie about the payment and interest rate . I never even got a contract after numerous times contacting them.. They added a warranty and gap insurance also without approval. My 500 a month payment became 700. And 21% became 28%. When the finance company called to verify the interest and payment amount I had no idea 60 days after picking up the vehicle. No contract. I think the AZ consumer fraud department is going to get in touch with you
