Frames are poorly made. Visionworks does NOT stand behind any of their frames. There are so many glass companies who do eye exams that you would think they would have better warranties for the frames they sell.

This office runs incredibly efficient. The optometrist is well prepared! He always shows genuine concern for my eye health and recalls previous appointments which allows me to feel more comfortable in his care.

I had initially made an appointment online for an earlier date, but one of their associates noticed that my VSP insurance would not have paid for that visit since it was not yet my yearly anniversary. I was contacted and I was able to cancel that appointment and make a new one for a future date. At the visit I was greeted upon entering and directed to the receptionist who was very friendly and efficient. The initial testing went smoothly and on time. Dr. Lehmann is very knowledgeable and explained EVERYTHING regarding my eye health, etc., and made sure all of my questions were answered. The associate who helped me pick my frames was also knowledgeable and friendly, and showed me many frames which complimented my face, and I was happy with my choice. All in all my visit was very pleasant. The only negative comment would be that I wasn’t aware that I would be charged for the contacts exam until after the fact. Perhaps VSP should make that clearer.

I've been wearing contacts since 1992, and this was hands-down, the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor. I moved to AZ last year and thought I'd try a provider pushed by my insurance company, Davis Vision. The OD Lehmann was incredibly condescending and repeatedly tried to shame me for following the advice I've had from trusted previous eye doctors for years - he actually said several times, "at your age, I'd expect..." After my visit, I tried to find medical information to support what this man said, and couldn't find - I think he was trying to scare me into buying their overpriced glasses. (Update: I had an eye exam with a provider not affiliated with visionworks and confirmed that I was fed a whole lot of untruths at visionworks. I am following up with the state licensing board to report this provider.) He also blew off eye-related questions I had related to an autoimmune disorder I developed this year. After years of comfortably wearing toric lenses, Lehmann decided I didn't need one of them and changed my prescription, which I didn't notice until after I left the store. Because of all of the upcharges, I ended up paying a lot more at Visionworks than I did for the same services last year at Costco Optical, even with the Davis Vision in-network "discounts." I don't trust one thing this OD did. Update: I paid out of pocket to have a complete exam and prescription redone at a different eye doctor, who gave me an accurate prescription for the level of correction that my eyes need. The hundreds of dollars I spent on glasses at visionworks was wasted - guess I'll put them aside for 5 or 10 years when they might be an appropriate correction for what I need. I will never go to a Visionworks facility again.

I have bought glasses here for several years. Have been very impressed with the service, the quality of the lenses and frames, and the service has been excellent. Also they offer great coupons with their products several times a year!!! I will continue to do business with this company!
