I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences at this pharmacy due to poor communication and unprofessional service. On several occasions, I have called ahead to confirm that my medication—or my boyfriend’s—was ready for pickup, only to arrive and be told it wouldn’t be available until later in the afternoon. This kind of misinformation is unacceptable, especially when dealing with patient care.
Additionally, the staff is consistently unfriendly and does not seem to work in the best interest of the patients. They do not have set break times, making it unpredictable whether anyone will be available at the counter, adding to the overall frustration. The lack of professionalism and patient-focused service makes this pharmacy an unreliable choice. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

I have a disability & I was profiled by a young impatient cashier at this particular Walgreens. I believe the older lady that works there, who also had a disability, was chastised because she was moving too slow due to her disability. The American Disabilities Act exists for a reason. I warn any consumer with a handicap to please steer clear of this Walgreens at 7011 E Shea Blvd in Scottsdale, Az. Side note: Maybe if this Walgreens would have had two cash registers opened, this incident would not have happened to us. I was actually accused of “buying too much” because the kid didn’t want to open another cash register. I had even allowed a couple of other people to go ahead of me. The young kid that was working told the older lady cashier to take a break because “he was going to get me out of there.” Obviously implying that she was moving too slow. She didn’t need a break & I liked her. She was kind to me. This kid that pushed her out of the way kept trying to interrupt my sale because he wanted to take other customers ahead of me right in the middle of ringing up my order! I even offered to pay it forward to a lady behind me, and pay for her order in full on my tab, because I got frustrated with him trying to stop my order to take other people in the middle of mine. He then called the police on me & accused me of being sarcastic. I called my daughter along with a friend of mine that is a police officer, while the kid told an officer on the phone that he was scared of me & that he didn’t like me calling other people on my cell phone for help. This situation is so unbelievable. How is he able to handle life? I sincerely believe Walgreens needs to invest in getting this young kid some counceling or coping skills. Especially customer service skills. When I told him I was sincerely paying for the Latina lady behind me, he made a such a big deal of it. I actually do a lot of behind the scenes volunteer work for police officers & adult probation, was a waitress for 23 years. I know how to conduct myself in a professional manner. I called my daughter & her boyfriend to come to the Walgreens to finish buying my items. But the young sales kid wouldn’t allow them to buy the items. Instead he banned them & said they could not shop there for a year. My daughters boyfriend lives in SC & has never stepped foot into this Walgreens until I called him for help. Some of the items I was buying from Walgreens were medical needs for my 87 year old mother. I explained this to the kid & he said that “he didn’t care.” I was shocked. This kid also lied to the police and told them that he was afraid of me. I have a bad back and could barely stand being as tired as I was, & he was afraid of me? He definitely has no management skills & does not like his job. My boss actually owned a Walgreens in Wa & is he able to help me find out who the owner of this Walgreens is. My boss also told me that Walgreens are in trouble & he was glad that he had sold his Walgreens because sales are drastically dwindling in many locations. With employees like this kid in charge of Walgreens, it’s no wonder they’re doing poorly. I think this kid is part of a bigger program that is trying to kill sales at this Walgreens location. I had at least $800 to $900 worth of items in my cart. At the very least, consumers need to be protected from the abuse of this kid at this Scottsdale, Az location. Unbelievable to me, the disrespect I have endured from him, & also the disrespect I saw him bestow upon the other older lady cashier. I’d also like to add that I heard him talking down to another older gentleman that worked there. Several times I heard him tell an older man that he needed to wear a white shirt. It was actually overkill the way he was talking to this gentleman. I felt sorry for the older man that this kid was talking to in a belittling manner. These two employees were clearly scared of this kid. I don’t know what our world is coming to. I do hope this will be one of the Walgreens that gets shut down too

haha i worked here in 2021. the manager kyle was cool. but the people hired were a joke. i don’t know if they’re still there but the ASM and other coworkers were rude and didn’t want to help. the pharmacy techs were also rude and always asked me to help out when i wasn’t even a certified pharmacy tech. we would constantly get theft and sketchy people, i would get harassed by customers. very odd experience working here.

Devonna in Cosmetics is the friendliest, most service oriented Walgreens employee ever! She deserves a raise!

My Doctor called in a prescription, the automated system said it would be ready at 8:15. I showed up at 9:15pm, and waited to be serviced while they were working on prescriptions, only to find out they hadn't even started to fill it. Just bad customer service

Wow. Impressive customer service at this Walgreens! I've been a Walgreens customer since 2001 and there's a Walgreens a mile away from where I live but no one pays attention to me when I enter the store, the pharmacists are not friendly except for one person. But this particular store was very helpful and welcoming as soon as I entered the store. All the goods were neatly stacked and the employees looked professional. I wish I live closer to this one...

I am on hold for an average of 20 minutes EVERY time I need to talk to someone in the pharmacy. They keep picking up and then putting me back on hold. It is EXTREMELY frustrating.

I had a great experience with the photo guy when I went to pick up my order. He accidentally made two of what I ordered and I told him no problem. The lady up front is where the issue was. She overall had an attitude with me and was upset at the guy making a duplicate.... Overall a really negative experience. Will say I ordered a poster with the 70% code at the Walgreens on Indian bend and had a WAY better experience! They were so kind and happy to provide service. My moms worked for this company for years so I know good service when I see it and at this store you won't get that
