Originally heard of wonderspace in Philadelphia but hadn’t gotten the chance to visit. When I was traveling to AZ I saw there was a location and figured to seize the day. The exhibits were definitely interesting. Some different sensory experiences while others felt repetitive. The Eli short really had my attention. The price point feels a little high for what was offered but overall an enjoyable experience.

It has many great and unique presentations. The yearly sub is worth it to me because sometimes they will have the same exhibit although a few months passed.Recommend going every other month

This is a fantastic place to spend an evening! It's a unique art experience that lets you interact with the exhibits or experience them in ways beyond just viewing. The exhibits change, so what you see might be different. In one room there is a 24 hour time lapse of the grand canyon in cool emersive enclosure. Another has a VR experience where a man going dead talks about hus changing world, and it's his actual personal tapes that are animated. You can get drinks here as well. Just a wonderful outing!

Such a fun place. It's a little bit out of the way for me, and personally I feel like the space is a little too small for the cost. However, I think they know that too because their membership cost is very well priced and makes a lot of sense to buy if you're going to go more than twice in a year which they do change out exhibits so to me, there membership makes the most sense rather than just a one-time entrance fee.

For the cost of admission, it does not hold up to snuff well. The exhibitions were somewhat thought provoking at best, and extremely amateur at worse. Many of the exhibitions you see in previous pictures do not exist there anymore as I assume they rotate every season or so. The drinks on offer, while tasty were of the cheaper quality and of a higher price point. Atleast you get a complimentary cup with every purchase.

wonderspacesaz is an art gallery highlighting the work of artists to bring a passion for the arts to everyone. They have four locations: Philly, San Diego, Austin, and here in Scottsdale. Located inside @scottsdalefashionsquare , the idea is to make art accessible to all. There are 14 exhibits at a time, and they rotate every 1-2 months. We had fun going as a daytime date, and the bar inside added to the fun. We were served specialty cocktails as the bartender explained the art to us. She was very friendly and pointed out details that we hadn't noticed. Our favorite cocktail was the Gooseberry Marigold Mule. We refilled a few times and were given a clean glass at the end to take home as a souvenir. We spent 90 minutes there and could have stayed longer! (Dang early school release day). It was quiet and therapeutic. Honestly, when we first arrived, we thought we'd breeze right through. Thanks to the fascinating exhibits, and cocktails, we truly enjoyed exploring at a relaxed pace to really take it all in.

Interesting exhibits. Not worth the price of admission. The exhibits were neat, but they were akin to showings at a science center - and the price is similar, only without the rest of science center.Service is thin and kinda awkward. Nice enough but look at you blankly when you show up without having done you waivers online yet…. waivers? Yeah, in the small print of your ticket… online? still no idea what she was talking about. They have two ipads set up. One of them froze on a screenshot. and got stuck. Awesome.Well, now we know.

Disappointing and underwhelming. Nothing original there. Mirror tunnel? Hello circus fun house! Blind experience? Avatar the Last Airbender rip off (or DareDevil). Laser light show on the ceiling? Straight from a rave or a Pink Floyd show. Balls to make a face? Seen it at 20 other art exhibits at least. Tape on a wall? Protest art from Vietnam War era is making a comeback. The paper forest was nice, maybe wore out the Cricket machine though. At the end, I feel swindled.

Scottsdale mall might be a little out of the way and not to my taste, but I ALWAYS make a point to drive out for Wonderspaces when I'm in town. Exhibits change out regularly and are always beautiful, inspiring and leave a lasting impression. The staff and site are always great at providing more info about the pieces and artists. Absolutely worth the price of admission!

Spacious and clean but difficult to find at at Christmas time.Nice Christmas tree, though. The service at Dillards was friendly and helpful, the food at Five Guys less than average, a dog's poo between the tables outside did not really raise our appetite .... Waiting time - for one burger and a veggie sandwich that fell to pieces by just looking at it - was almost half an hour.We know Christmas time is always busy but do the food courts know that, too ???

I've been a member at Wonderspaces for almost a year. Every time I go is a different experience but it's always unforgettable. The art is spectacular and customer service is exceptional.I highly recommend becoming a member!:)

This is located inside the mall food court! It's a really cool interactive but relaxing art exhibit. There are different rooms with different sound and visual art where you sit in silence and relax. There is a bar in the lobby for a nice sip and walk! This takes about 45-1 hour depending on how long you stay in a room or mess with the interactive walls.

I wanted to like this so badly. Unfortunately it felt like a money grab. Call it a 2.5 stars from my whole group, averaged out. A few of the pieces were worth a few minutes exploration and contemplation, but most felt like something you’d see as a small side piece in any decent science museum or modern art gallery. I honestly cannot understand how this has as many glowing reviews. It was underwhelming in so many ways. It didn’t have interesting artist statements to give context or meaning to the pieces as they might have had in any art museum, nor did most of the pieces stand on their own as purely as an aesthetic or illusionary artwork.Take your money and time to somewhere better spent, like the Phoenix Art Museum where you’ll have better executed pieces and more of them. Or the zoo- also a much better investment in your time or money. So disappointed. Maybe if tickets were $5-10 it might have been a little more on par with the value provided, but that would only be if you’re lacking anywhere else to be and need to burn a little time. Again, a couple pieces were clever, most would have been right at home in an undergraduate art gallery. So disappointed, wanted to like this. I really did. And I don’t love writing negative reviews but this one irks me a day later, so better to forewarn others.
