(For context, we stayed in the hotel section, not the villas) I'm giving three stars for a few reasons. This is a fabulous location and close to uptown Sedona so you can walk to all the shops and dining. It has many amenities- pool, hot tub, sauna, laundry, and the view is incredible. Parking is great and the staff working there are really terrific. Breakfast in the morning also saves you from yet another expensive meal out. That's where the good ends though. The rooms are old and reek of mold. And had I had shower shoes with me, I would've worn them in the bathroom. The beds were comfy enough. Would I stay here again? No. But it served its purpose. Would I pay $500+/ night knowing what I now know? Also no. If they spent a little bit of money and remodeled and brought this up to date with some new tile and carpeting it would be well worth it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. James and Brittany at the front desk were tremendously kind, helpful and friendly, providing us with excellent recommendations to restaurants and ice cream. The views from our room was worth the whole trip. I used the gym, pools, hot tubs and steam sauna. 5 star facility. We look forward to stay here again someday. It sure is a special place.

I have stayed at this BWP twice. The first time I really enjoyed it! Breakfast menu was listed for each day of the week and loved the variety. There is a 24/7 coffee machine at the front desk which was so handy to grab a warm drink after a morning hike. And we got upgraded to a Red Rocks view room. The second time I came here, it was a bit of a letdown. We still loved the 24/7 coffee machine and upgrade to a Red Rocks view room but some things were a bit disappointing. They now charge $10 per day to park in their parking lot. The rooms need updating- our toilet paper holder was coming off the bathroom wall. The breakfast variety was not as good- only one of the three days I was there had a speciality breakfast dish. The amenities at the hot tub/sauna (although not managed by BW) were not well kept. The shower room was not cleaned regularly. I do love the location as it is right on the main street/highway (89A) but with the myriad of options in the area, I would think twice about coming back here to stay.

We had one room facing the creek side and those are great rooms. The other one faced the parking lot and they are not as nice. The staff is very nice as well. We needed a last minute late check out and they made it happened. The breakfast is nice as well. The fitness place, pool and other amenities are a bit odd- they belong to the timeshare place. You can use them but they are not easy to get into.

We stayed at the best western not the villas. For what we payed we did not like. Rooms are very small and out of date. Stayed for 6 days half way through we asked for fresh towels and trash taking out. Only room service we asked for while here.. one day of service. We asked the day before we wanted it done. That day we left all day. Came back later in the evening. Nothing was done. No fresh towels. Called and asked. Acted like we were a huge inconvenience when they finally knocked on door. Bad attitudes. We left while they were in room, came back no towels!!!!!! WTH! Called and we had to go down and get them. We didn't asked them for anything else. Pools were ok they definitely needed some care. Over heard the pool guys talking about black mold in the pool. Gross. Positive note! Breakfast was good. People were nice always offered to clean up our plates. Always putting out fresh food.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Other than location in downtown, Sedona, this place has nothing to offer. Tiny restrooms where your feet are hitting front walls. There is smell of old building throughout. Breakfast was simply pathetic. Won't recommend it to anyone.

Good price, nice location but wonderful staff!! We travel a lot and for me, the reviews are nestled in the customer service I received. Best Western staff understood the assignment. We are in Sedona celebrating a special milestone birthday around Christmas time and off the cuff I put under special requests for our room that "it would be nice to have a table top Christmas tree". Never thought they do it but we walked in and there it was!! All lit up and decorated beautifully. It's those extra details I appreciate in where I stay. Also Joyce at the front desk was wonderful to work with and helped us with check in and parking. Very nice experience!!

Unfortunately, horrible experience, would not recommend. My sister and I decided to visit Sedona and stay at this Best Western after I discovered the hotel chain in France in May. Arrived at the hotel a bit early and was told our room was ready and we could check in at 3. Returned at 3 to fill out the paperwork and get keys. Went to the room and opened the door to find another couple inside getting changed for the pool. A picture we can’t get out of our heads. Apparently, they couldn’t get into their original room because the battery in the door locking mechanism was out and the door wouldn’t open. So, they were given our room and we were given the same room. We returned to the front desk, had to wait for another guest to be taken care of and told a different room would be ready in half hour. We waited in the lobby, half hour came and went, new room wasn’t ready, another half hour passed, no room, no apology for the errors. Was told they hadn’t expected to use the other room they were putting us in and couldn’t say when it would be ready. We put our bags back in the car and received a call our room was ready 2.5 hours after our initial check in. Again no apology for the gross errors or for the long wait. We were told check in was between 4 and 6 and we received our room at 5:30, well within that range.Surprised too to be told there would be no scheduled housekeeping service due to COVID. As I mentioned, I’d stayed in other BW and other hotels this year and always had daily housekeeping I didn’t have to request. Also, surprised to receive an extra charge for parking on my bill that wasn’t mentioned, when I asked about it at checkout was told the desk agent should have mentioned at checkin. (Free parking is in an adjacent lot, not on hotel property.) Had a nice coffeemaker in the room, unfortunately it didn’t work (wouldn’t stay on). Thermostat wouldn’t work either (digital display was off) so had to turn on the room A/C unit under the window (going against the posted sign to use the thermostat) cooler kept resetting to 78F; quite warm for a room to sleep.Overall, had considered making BW my hotel of choice and had three future reservations in the coming months planning another two week getaway in November. However, now rethinking and deciding Marriott and Wyndham are better matches for me as I’ve never been double booked in a room only to open the door to a naked older man.Best Western I am disappointed by your lack of professionalism and poor management during our stay. Shame on you; having worked in hospitality in the past, there were so many opportunities to make our stay amazing and take responsibility for your errors, instead you choose to make us feel responsible for inconveniencing you. Then, to reach out after the fact after I returned home traveling 1,500 miles. Disappointed to say the least.

We spent three nights at your beautiful hotel several weeks ago. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and everyone was friendly. There are great views from rooms at the back of the hotel. Kudos to the maintenance staff for keeping the outside of the property so immaculate! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I reserved a king suite. We got there 2 hours early, they said it was cleaned and ready to go. We paid the $25 early check in. Went to our room and there was a horrid smell, there were no sheets or comforter on the king. The pull out sofa was still out with a stained sheet. We made front desk aware and was told that was the only one availableRooms: Disgusting ?

Ligt in Uptown Sedona.

Stayed here and for 1 night and wish it was longer! This whole area is magical and the views are breathtaking! This hotel has a front row seat to the beautiful mountains including a pool! Brittney helped us at the front desk and she was so kind and knowledgeable. There was plenty of well lit parking and free breakfast! Our room was clean and had an amazing view of the mountains! We would definitely stay here again!
