Was an okay stay. Booked this room for the convenience of having on site breakfast, but then learning the next morning that they stopped serving breakfast in May. Everywhere you look.. online and even in the booklets inside the hotel room gave information about their on site breakfast. We made other plans and travel elsewhere and had a better morning because of it. It's just the convenience of having a quick breakfast and then off to explore Sedona would've been faster and easier.

This hasn’t been a Days Inn for a while and really is called Muyawki Inn. Beautiful view from the room and easy to get to. Spacious and clean room. A couple of callouts though: there were a large amount of dead flies in the window (gnats) and the security bar lock was loose and could have easily been busted open.

We stayed there in April 2023. Very happy with our stay and would come back again. There is a little pool. Great location. Clean room. friendly staff (if you check in late, like past 10pm you need to notify front desk in advance, as front desk is NOT 24/7). Room has refrigerator and microwave. I was using their hair blow dryer to dry hair, but it would short circuit?? suddenly goes out and then go back on again few mins later spontaneously. Breakfast is less than decent. I would recommend eating elsewhere if you want good breakfast.

Highly recommend staying here for a few reasons. I’ll start with the facts, this place beats most, if not all airbnb prices in the area and provides breakfast. I think for 3 nights on a holiday weekend it was around $119 a night no cleaning fee, no service fee, no BS. The lady at the help desk gave us rags (free) to clean our bikes with.Importantly, I am almost 100% certain this hotel is owned/operated by native Americans, Hopi I believe.Highly recommend this place as well due to proximity to trails. We were on many of the premier biking trails within minutes.

A nice find in an excellent, quiet location, with all possible amenities in walking distance - even the Bell Rock trailhead. Excellent coffee, galleries, bank, gas station, restaurants just steps away, yet very quiet and peaceful at night. Borders a residential neighborhood. North side offers views of the major red rocks. The property is a former Days Inn under new management. It could use a little love but the staff is very kind and my pup was warmly welcomed. I will be back! I miss affordable stays in Sedona and this place made it possible for me to return and feel comfortable.

This was a great place to stay for my brother, husband, and I visiting Sedona. Its location is before the town so it’s not as crowded and it has great restaurants around it! The lodging was simple and the beds were comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and even baked homemade cookies they shared with us.

A decent, affordable option for staying near Sedona. The swimming pool was nice. A note to the lady who runs the breakfast area, and makes the waffles - the waffle machine is broken I do believe! Have you ever wondered why the garbage can is full of un-eaten waffles? For two mornings, it was part of the included entertainment, to watch people take their waffles and toss them into garbage can. A waste.

Rooms were very clean and tidy. Equipped with free WiFi that ran my online game on my computer very well. Rooms are well insulated from sound and the TV was large and adequate. The crib they put in the room was very nice and very useful. They gave us free cookies and we showed up to their continental breakfast late and they still gave us the full service. In addition to being very helpful with the maps of the area. Also the later checkout was very nice because traveling with very young kids is very difficult to get ready and leave quickly.

Agree with a lot of the reviews here. Great views from the hotel, and great location in town. Walking to breakfast across the street at the cafe if you want. Gas and grocery nearby. Didn’t have the breakfast. Rooms were great, especially for the price. Pillows are very lumpy, but go for a long hike and get tired and it won’t matter. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an older building but at least our room was modernized enough.

MUYKAWKI INN | NOT a DAYS INN WYNDHAMNine months ago, using Expedia, my buddy booked (2) rooms with what was the time Days Inn Wyndham. Between that booking and arrival, ownership and/or management changed w/o notification from Expedia or the Days Inn Wyndham.Upon arrival, with printed documentation in-hand, we checked in with the night-shift desk clerk. Not a simple task. There were some complications with the check-in and as a result, my friend came back to the car and asked that I come in with her. Mr. Night Shift (Mr. NS) stated he could not find the reservation in their system. Friend showed him her printed out paperwork with itinerary numbers, dates, rates, etc. Mr. NS immediately noticed the pricing on the docs and exclaimed at what an incredible rate we had been provided by Expedia and that the inn could easily charge $400 for our rooms. RED FLAG! Mr. NS stated he couldn't find our reservations in their system, but they'll give us a room, blah-blah-blah. Believe it or not, Mr. NS stated he wasn't that "really that much of a douche bag". What?! There were other extremely inappropriate statements made by Mr. NS during this check-in. Unbelievable. RED FLAGS all over the place. But...we were a bit over a barrel with the holiday weekend and being exhausted from coming up from the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We were able to get into our room with the assumption that we were staying two nights as our printed reservations and Expedia confirmation email rec'd the previous day. WRONG!Without going into a play-by-play, after our night at this hotel and after a hike to Bell Rock, we received a call from Ms. Day Shift (Ms. DS) asking why we hadn't vacated our rooms? RED FLAG. The end result is that our group of four were asked to leave before our 2nd night stay and that we had been provided a favor by allowing us to stay the single night. Management did offer other rooms at a higher rate with less beds as a consolation. What?! We asked them to honor the rate provided in our original reservation. Management did not agree with that common customer service practice. With our additional offers and insistence of viewing the printed documentation we in-hand, Ms. DS REFUSED repeatedly to review the docs. Muyawki Inn management via Ms. DS, repeatedly stated that this "mix-up" (from their perspective) was Expedia's doing. Yet, my friend rec'd confirmations from Expedia of our impending check-in 1-day prior to our arrival. WTH! Hmmmm...very suspicious Muywaki Inn management behavior. Seemed almost a bait 'n switch scenario. Again, repeatedly, Ms. DS stated throughout the discussions and negotiations they could get $400/night for our rooms. Uh-huh. See where this is going? In addition, to that creepy, questionable front desk business, the following morning adventure at breakfast was pretty entertaining. The inn Breakfast Nazi (BN) was on full patrol with a food-gathering set-up for failure with minimal delineation of what we could and couldn't help ourselves to. I suppose the BN's S&M tendencies were realized by reprimanding people for getting a bowl for cereal or wanting a freakin' waffle or toast w/o requesting in a "mother-may-I" demeanor. As we sat and ate our gruel, the BN left the room and we watched a teenage boy enter the lair and help himself past the invisible BN's barrier. Oh no! We had to warn him. We tried to give him a heads up, but he was at a loss on how to respond to our group of adventuresome, middle-aged thrill seekers and proceeded on. Poor kid. The BN returned to the breakfast chamber in full force looking for such an opportunity. Boy! Was she gonna have some fun torturing this kid. She lasered her eyes on him and fired off with "Hey you! Exploring the north rim over there. You are not to enter this area....". We quickly left the potential bloodbath and the look of S&M satisfaction on the BN's face. Sheesh!Back to front desk, rather than our group capitulating & accept the two of the four "back-up
