I recommend you to read reviews on Yelp and Birdeye because it is easy to delete it here. Over there you will see how everyone pretty much sharing the same experiences how they are shady management that will try to rob you financially as much as they can especially after the move out. I was perfect tenant paying 7000$ in fees upfront and paying rent on time, at the end the of the lease they try to get extra 9000$ from me because the landscaper and them as management didn’t do their jobs properly or at all and they blame it on the tenant.. I have never dealt with such a magnitude of dishonesty and twisting stuff in their favor to not give you back your deposits and they even ask for more money from you because because they didn’t do their proper job of addressing things in timely manner. Late 2022 I rented from the house that had hidden black mold inside of the kitchen cabinets and the wall. I was moving from Florida to Sedona and I trusted them as they looked trustworthy, they looked like they know the houses they manage very well but it’s quite the opposite.. after five days of driving to get to Sedona, I paid them upfront I ended up in the house full of black mold (not only in the kitchen, it was in the walls everywhere) which was very damaging for my health and the health of my dog that died very shortly after we were both exposed to that amount of mold!! I was desperate enough to take an alternative house from them because I had nowhere else to go. This next house they rented me was almost falling apart inside, rent was 4000 a month. I was so desperate to have a clean healthy place without mold, there was nowhere else to go, all the rentals were taken, I spent money on the rents from them, didn’t have money for hotels so I took that “new” house for a year lease and after moving out, they do not want to give me refundable deposits back because they try to hold me responsible for them and their landscaper not doing their job. landscape was the responsibility of the landlord and they try to hold tenant responsible so they don't give any deposits back and on top of it they ask extra 9000$to replace the garden.please be aware of this people! on the surface they perform like elite professionals.. their landscaper was not doing proper job, he let the garden dry out, let it die, didn’t take care of irrigation system early enough in the year, I reported that he wasn’t doing his job, they did not address it early enough or let’s say at all, now I know it was on purpose so they try to charge me 12000$for new garden.. now, after moving out of the house, they try to make me pay for it and not give me any deposits back, they hold tenant responsible for their job. If you can avoid them, you might avoid a lot of trouble and financial losses on your side.someone should really deeply investigate them and look into how they really make their money… when they know you are a lonely European woman that doesn't know much about renting in USA and is emotionally vulnerable, they miss use the situation to earn even more money off of you, because they see the opportunity. Of course they will never admit anything and will make you look like “troubled tenant”, make you feel like your beneath them and should talk to their attorney when you request your deposits back. They also over charge you on everything they can at the move out, they will charge you more than 1000$ for cleaning if you don’t do it yourself. They send some handyman to replace that which was working and which tenant replaced already and charge you 250$ for lightbulbs exchange that wasn’t necessary and you didn’t even schedule it. If you value yourself and your money, avoid them. The should be very deeply investigated. I am reporting them to the AZ bureau of better business to Get some help as I got nowhere with them.

Zero stars to this business that has rented me a house with the black mold. Cause me emotional and health damage. as an alternative they offered me house to rent where they did not do their job properly, holding tenant responsible for something that landlord and management was responsible for (it was stated in the lease that they are responsible). They arent willing to give back deposits as they want to use them to pay for stuff thats there and not tenants responsibility. Once they take your money, and refundable deposits, they make sure they wont return anything back. They try to blame you for something that was their job to do. They use tactics that scare you so you give up and let them have the money that was supposed to be returned to you. They also try to bill you after the move out with bills that dont make any sense. They order handyman to the job and that tenant did and they try to bill you for that. This company isnt trustworthy at all, I recommend to avoid them. They perform very elite and professional on the surface but they are not. They dont even know whats going on with the houses that they are managing and then they try to blame tenants for something that is responsibility of the management. I would not give them any star. Is their activities are fraudulent and someone should deeper look into their business and how they earn their money.

We were good tenants, the kind I would want if I rented out my house. Retirees with no pets or children, quiet, paid on time, previous home owners ourselves. A storm destroyed the block wall fencing and we looked at that mess for 5 months. It was still not repaired when we left. We understood the complicated scenario with permitting, lawsuits, and hard-to-find contractors and just dealt with it. I don't think the home could have been rented to new tenants in that condition, however. The real disappointment was when we left with the misunderstanding that a $450 cleaning deposit would cover cleaning the carpet in 2 bedrooms. When we moved in we were basically told that the cleaning standards were extremely high and not to expect to get the deposit back if we did the cleaning ourselves, so we didn't, thinking $450 should cover it. Now we're being told carpet cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit. Very disappointing experience.

We paid an application fee for a rental property and heard nothing back. We’ve called every day to find out what the status of our application is, but we can’t get a person on the phone. We haven’t heard that we are denied or approved. Nothing. Zero communication.

We put in an application for a rental property and paid a fee and heard nothing back. Zero communication. I have no idea if we were approved or denied. Called everyday and left messages. Do not pay an application fee to this company. Stay away.

I came to Sedona for a 3 month sabbatical, and after talking with some friends in the area who recommended them, I rented a beautiful property in the Village with Sedona Elite. From my first contact with Nathan, to the kind and supportive maintenance folks (Kristina, Matt and Joe) who made some minor repairs, and to my more recent experiences with Ian and Graham, the company really works to give owners and renters a positive experience. Their properties are beautiful and well maintained, unlike some others that I explored earlier. I had a glitch at the end of my rental, and they stayed in the conversation until it was resolved. Thank you Sedona Elite!

Do not use this real estate company. They mislead and steal from you. We rented a house for a month, had to cancel. According to the agreement if you cancel prior to 90 days before the rental you receive a full refund of the deposit. I cancelled 6 months before and I was told I misinterpreted the language and there is no refund. Go to VRBO, they give you refunds if you have to cancel and are honest. So wrong.

We rented from Sedona Elite Properties for two month early in 2021. They are very professional and make sure everything is covered and that the property has everything you will need. Email is usually the best way to communicate. They are people you can trust to have everything handled or solve whatever may come up.

Terrible dishonest Property management company and owner. Cost me $560 in "fees" to move out. Sedona Elite (what a joke) Property Management owner Ian used "Enrique" (no web site or address) probably illegally doing business to "clean" a house that was left immaculate. Turns out the cleaner is a friend charging whatever he wants ($100/hr). Also plumbers are used who upsale and instead of replacing a $0.25 cent washer changed out two faucets with junk from China and a toilet also junk and charged the property owners. When spoke with the owner he said he knew, it was just the cost of doing business. Owners beware! Renters beware! You will PAY! When Ian took over the company the prior employees left, now I know why- lack of integrity they did not want to be associated with.

The ONLY property management group we’ve ever known to be thorough, timely, and generously giving to their clients. We’ve had the BEST experiences with Sedona Elite! They simply have deep integrity in everything they do, and work very hard to ensure fairness and value for all! Thanks Ian, Nathan and Kristina!!!

Update Feb, 2019: I've purchased a home here in Sedona and am now a member of the permanent community. I still hear terrible rip-off stories about Sedona elite. If you MUST rent through them due to lack of options, just be mentally, emotionally and financially prepared to lose all downpayment, cleaning and security money. Consider it the price of renting the property. Also, be well prepared to be thouroughly insulted by their nonchalance while you are being stolen from. As soon as your contract is signed, the sweet sales personalities turn on a dime........(initial review 2 years ago) Because many home owners who rent their homes out in Sedona actually live elsewhere, Sedona Elite has owners and renters sign lease online instead of in person. When we moved out of our rental through Sedona Elite and the owner ripped us off for $680.00 of security deposit, was when we discovered that we were in possession of a totally different lease than the home owner was. His lease allowed him to keep this money, the one we held did not. All this made possible through the partnership of technology trickery and Sedona Elite Rentals. Although it is certain we would have won in court had we pursued legal action, we were unable to due to serious, life threatening illness. It is companies like Sedona Elite Rentals that give our warm, mountain town a bad name. Incompetent, would be a compliment because by the response I received from Sedona Elite regarding this matter, which was total shut down of all communication, I can only surmise that Tina, Raphael and Sara are dedicated to wealthy homeowners and not the less lucrative renters they have sign different leases online.I know this review will cost you ten fold the $680 you joined in ripping me off for, Sedona Elite. Don'tcha just hate when you get yours? I can't wait to sit back and watch you go out of business for your crooked, unethical and downright illegal, business practices. I have the fake lease in my possession so feel free to challenge this review. Hope you have a terrible day, everyone down at Sedona Elite. ?

For 5 years, Tine and the staff at Sedona Elite Properties have been managing rentals of the Sedona home we own. Over that time, my dealings with them have been nothing but professional, friendly, and responsive. From the beginning, we understood the services that would be provided and the cost of those of those services, and on that score, everything has been consistent with our expectations. We do not live in the immediate area, so we needed a "turnkey operation" -- someone who would keep us informed of property and tenant needs, someone who can arrange for repairs and maintance, and someone who can give us guidance on how to handle something when necessary. We get all of that from Tina and her staff. I also appreciate that they handle a lot of little things on their own, without raising unnecessary alarm for us; they interpret the tenants' needs and know when it's important to pass that information on to us. It's been a happy partnership and I expect it will be for many more years.

We just finished a month in Sedona. We rented a lovely house three bedroom two bath from Sedona Elite Properties. They were superb to work with. They have excellent properties at reasonable prices. One of their agents who we worked with yes even loaned us her pack n play portable crib. The house was walking distance from a beautiful trail which was fabulous for hiking and running. Didn't need to drive to go on a superb trail run on Teacup and Thunder Mountain Trails. We will definitely return to Sedona and will always use Sedona Elite Properties. The people were friendly helpful and very efficient. It helped make this a superb vacation.

Raphael at Sedona Elite was a great help and made moving to Sedona possible. He was able to find me great last minute location at the right price. Very professional, property was well managed. The other staff are friendly and easy to work with as well. Had a 1 year rental with them and they took care of any issues that came up. If you are looking to move to Sedona check with them first! Even before buying a home try renting for a year first.
