“We had the very unfortunate situation of traveling with our dog when he needed immediate veterinary attention. My husband called Village Vet Hospital and they got us right in. The team there was second to none in professionalism and caring for our little guy. They expedited his evaluation only to find out his condition was terminal. The vet and team compassionately guided us through a very difficult decision and process. I will forever be grateful for them! Great care and highly recommend this practice for your beloved pet(s)!”

“When vets in my area cannot get to the bottom of what is going on with my best friend who just happens to be furry, I drive the 4 1/2 hours across the state to see Dr. Jarvis. She always gets to the bottom of what is actually going on...usually quite quickly. Dr Jarvis is the best to be found in her profession and she genuinely loves animals. You cannot find better!”

“We went to our first visit with Dr. Valentine at Sedona Animal Clinic and brought 2 of our dogs. Dr. Valentine provided excellent care to both of them. Her background and training, especially in Chinese medicine, will be a real plus for the Sedona area. I'm excited that she has moved here. One of our dogs is a rescue with unusual needs and Dr. Valentine really took extra care with her. The other dog has an autoimmune disorder that will require ongoing care. This will be a good place for our household.”

“Words can’t express how much we love Dr. Cinda and Cris! Thank you Dr Cinda for being the voice of reason with our 16 year old corgi sissy. Thank you both so much in light of what you experienced yesterday, you still gave love and compassion to not just sissy but me and Will as well. On your day off, no less! Thank you for the recommendation of Sissy’s last treat, which was rare, thick, ribeye, steak. Thank you for sissy’s, gentle transition in a warm, loving place! We will forever be grateful and Winnie looks forward to seeing you again! (Winnie is doing just great with Sissy’s absence). It’s not always easy to make the tough decision, but Dr Cinda helped us immensely! She is no longer suffering and that is what is the most important.”

“I'll preface this with we are just traveling through the area, and this is not our normal vets office. We saw Dr. Hope Valentine for a UTI for our pup. She's wonderful. Very, very thorough. Not only did we get antibiotics for his UTI, but she also reviewed his whole chart and recommended a new food plan and supplement to help with his inflammation. What we thought was going to be a quick 10 min appt, turned into almost an hour, the majority of with was spent with the doctor. The techs were amazing as well. Decently priced. Easy to make the appt as well.”

“We have been bringing our dogs to Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic in Sedona for years and have had professional results with their veterinarians. A very good experience. The services can be a bit pricey; but, it is worth it for my pets. We have brought our dogs in on several occasions and the visit can take an hour or more which is fine. But, at the end of the visit our dog needs to have a potty break and there is no place to take him except into the weeds and briars or the landscaped areas. This may be an oversight on the part of the management that needs to be changed because each time we have taken him into the weeds, he comes home covered in thistles, skin-penetrating thorns and/or fire-ant bites. We do not use the landscaped rocky areas out of consideration for the owners; but, we need to take him somewhere. Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic, please, change this for the good of all of your customers. Thank you.”

“We have been using Oak Creek Animal Clinic for 9 years, first with our now elderly near-end-of life golden doodle Linus, and now also with a new golden doodle puppy. We have worked with 3 different vets there. Over many years, we've used vet clinics in Maryland, Florida and Maine. I can easily say that our experiences with Oak Creek have always been high quality in terms of vet knowledge and skills, and in their interpersonal behavior both with us and our dogs. Linus has had three emergencies requiring surgeries. They handled the two (one was a potentially deadly, bleeding anal tumor done on a Saturday) ) they have the capabilities for, quickly, competently and very humanely. They had to refer us to an orthopedic specialty vet in Flagstaff or Phoenix for the third surgery when Linus tore out his hip, but did so by describing the alternatives including capabilities and price differences to be expected. In all cases and on every other visit the vets went to great lengths to explain conditions, diagnoses, options, prognoses, etc etc. Desk staff and assistants have always been kind, gentle and helpful. Their prices are no more expensive than vets we've dealt with in the past. Having said that, everyone wishes medical care was less expensive. Have you checked out pet insurance? It's crazy expensive if you have a generally healthy dog. We recently started our new puppy's relationship with Oak Creek Small Animal. First checkup was great. Cost was $59.”
