Thank you for keeping this gem alive. The room was big and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. And the quietest room on our whole vacation.

Four of us stayed here for one night while passing through. The room was clean and you could park the car right in front of the door. The room decoration was definitely iconic and even more so for real Route 66 fans.Unfortunately, the sound and temperature insulation is a bit sparse. The cold outside temperatures (in winter and spring) can be easily compensated for with heating. However, the nearby railway line in particular is a minor disturbing factor. Freight trains run there day and night and make a lot of noise. With ear plugs, this shouldn't be a problem for people who sleep normally.Keith at reception explained everything well and was personable. The motel is located directly on Historic Route 66, making it perfect for people in transit. All in all, Motel 66 is definitely a recommendation for those traveling through.

Loved staying in this iconic route 66 motel. The exterior leaves one wondering what you have booked into but once inside you are transported into another world, in our case the world of Harley Davidson, where the interior decorations are fabulous and the facilities on offer in the room top notch. Thank you to Susan for making up our room so beautifully.

Price too expensive, but I think because there is not much other choice there. Anonymous room with some Route 66 objects hanging.

Showers in room 12 & 14 had no water pressure and could not be fixed. Basically booked a room with no shower. Bed and rooms are ok otherwise.

It was quite noisy at night (the motel is next to the railroad). Smelly rooms, very tired furniture. But it’s cute.

An excellent motel. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable with nice firm pillows and good mattresses. Good water pressure, nice showers. Wonderful decor, loved the Harley-Davidson motorcycle theme in our room. Plus, some of the rooms have plaques on the door saying which famous person slept there. We were in the Ben Johnson room. A great little piece of history.Food & drinks: Located right next to the Roadkill Cafe.

This motel is right across the street from our favorite restaurant in Seligman - Westside Lilo's, who make the world's best carrot cake. The motel is very clean, updated and convenient. When the TV in my room would not work, the young man at the front desk came to my room and got it working right away. They are busy so book your room early. Parking is great - just steps from your door.

Great little gem of a motel right off historic Route 66. Clean well decorated rooms, hot showers and a place to park my semi (only one in town) glad I parked and stayed the night here. Great little cafe across the street.

Kamon, staff in the night shift almost left us with no place where to sleep despite having paid the room in advance. We phoned him around 8 pm to tell we were arriving at 10 pm; when we reached the motel he told us his IT systems were down and he couldn't take the deposit from our credit card, we needed $100 in cash. We had only $95 in cash but he didn't accept, he didn't neither accept 100€ in cash. And there were no ATM operating in Seligman, which has a population less than 500 hundred people, at this time. So he told us that if we were not able to find another $5 in cash couldn't check us in, even if the IT problems were not ours. Incredible!! Finally we got $5 in a bar and we could sleep there.Erika, staff in the day shift was very kind and helpful. She made us change a little bit the opinion we had about this place.Apart from that, motel is an old one, they just charge you around $95 per night because of the historical place in route 66 but there are more better options to stay in Seligman.

This is a budget hotel in Seligman, which was clean and cute. Beds and pillows were OK. The only issue was the extremely noisy AC, which worked great - just noisy. The other issue, which can’t be helped, is the train, which runs consistently throughout the night. Owner was very nice and accommodating!

Hats off to the Historic Route 66 Motel. It was a great kitchy place to relax and enjoy the room. Cayman is the owner. He looked to be in his late 20's, early 30's. Very nice guy. He had Route 66 souvenirs so I bought a coaster, magnet and pin. The rooms were well kept. Cayman purposely put to good use the rooms. A small refrigerator and single use Keurig in the corner of the bathroom but it worked. I don't know how long ago the rooms were renovated but they did a great job decorating in Route 66 decorations. Even down to the detail of Route 66 curtains. There were trains that went by but they were so quiet it never interrupted our sleep. Thank you Cayman for an enjoyable restful sleep!
