When I set the appointment I let them know my kitty gets really bad anxiety leaving the house,When my husband and i arrived I don’t think we even waited 10 minutes before we were called to the room with I believe the veterinary assistant, hopefully that’s the correct title. They were sweet calm and reassuring. They didn’t skip a beat in getting right down on the floor with me to comfort and check Him out.The doctor was very kind as well and realistic I felt a lot of trust with them. Then the next morning they even called and asked how my kitty was doing, and that was so thoughtful and really showed they care.

The staff and vets are the best. I’m so happy to have them taking care of my fur babies. I rescued a cat that needed an eye removed and after the surgery the vet who saved his life adopted him! How amazing is that! These are people that care and it shows by their actions and love of animals.

This was my first visit to the clinic and from the time I walked in the door, everyone was very kind. The Vet Tech, Melissa, was knowledgeable and answered many of my questions before Dr. Ochoa came in. Dr. Ochoa was very thorough in checking Remi and answered all of my questions. I’m happy to know Remi will be greatly taken care of for all of her future visits. Thank you to you all!

Our 13 year old chihuahua, Whiskey, was having a horrible time breathing and didn't do well this past weekend. We didn't want to watch him suffer any longer. Monday we called several vets in the area. At one, we were told 3 weeks before we could get an appt to put him to sleep!!! This office got us in the next day (today). Whiskey has always been a very anxious dog and we were worried about how traumatic his last minutes on earth would be. They came out to my husband's truck and put him to sleep peacefully in his own space, with his brother Romeo present so he could know he was no longer with us. That was a very compassionate way to help our little buddy along, and I am so thankful for you! This was really hard on my husband since I am out of town, and I thank you for making it less stressful for him!

I know each person's experience and circumstance is different so, I wanted to say that ours was great. Our dog was not a patient and we showed up upon opening, unannounced, with our little Sassy to put her down because of the horrible night she had with the end stage of her illness. They understood my circumstances and were compassionate and caring throughout our whole time there. Our dog lay dying in our arms and ended up passing away before they could do their thing. Thank you for the care and kindness you showed us in this most difficult of times. People do remember!

I had an emergency with my husky and my vet was out of town. Alta Sierra was willing to take him even though they were already booked. They were amazing with my dog, diagnosed him accurately and probably saved his life. He is doing so much better now. I will be switching vets permanently I was so pleased with how they treated my dog and I. Thank you Alta Sierra for you professionalism and kindness!

The staff is super friendly, We've been taking our dogs there since we moved to the area. They've been thorough with testing & treatments and when it came time to bid our dogs good-bye, they are very compassionate. They even helped one of our girls cross the rainbow bridge while I held her in the back of my vehicle because she always got stressed out going into the office.

I was on a camping trip which took me to Show Low when one of my dogs got quite sick with what turned out to be HGE. It was close to closing time , but in spite of that they got me right in when I explained what was going on. The staff were all friendly, helpful and compassionate across the board. Taylor, the vet tech, and Dr Ochoa, the on call vet who saw us, could not have been kinder or more caring. They were absolutely wonderful. Initially, after a workup, meds and fluids, we all thought Skye could go home with us and we would watch her overnight. As fate would have it though, she ultimately needed admission to their hospital later that night. Again we received the very best service and support. These people are absolutely the best and I completely trust them to take great care of our girl. I’m very grateful for all that they have done. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us, even though we were total strangers to you. You are the best.

This by far is the best vet service I've been too. I took my cat Billie in and she had to have emergency surgery. The vet stayed after hours and done the surgery. Billie is home now and doing well. I wish I could remember the vets name because this lady deserves so much credit. The staff is also amazing.Thank you to all of youMarlene and Steve

I gave raving reviews about Alta Sierra after having a wonderful experience where we had to make the awful decision to let our elderly cat go. So when my little dog got sick, I trusted this office to do us no wrong. But unfortunately for me and our little dog, this vet's office was about money more than it cared about my poor, dying dog's suffering and the vet I had previously met is apparently no longer at their clinic. A new vet sent me home with antibiotics and a dental cleaning date TWO MONTHS out-- despite it appearing to be an emergency to me! On top of that, when I called back as my dog got worse they tried to blame us for not getting bloodwork done on our dog the first day we brought her in, but the vet tech pressured us into NOT getting it because she would have had to get it done TWICE before her dental. The woman even checked the box that said No and told us to just sign it! I told them that day I did NOT want to take her home and watch her die! They assured me she wouldn't! But in my gut, I knew that is what was going to happen. Unfortunately, we had to watch our beloved dog have some kind of seizure or stroke over... and over... and over... until they could "squeeze us in." Once there, they tried to pressure us into getting the bloodwork NOW when she was so far gone she wasn't responding to any sights, sounds, or smells. She was GONE. And she suffered! I will never forgive the staff for how we were treated and I will never be returning to this facility. Shame on me for trusting the vet's office more than my own intuition. I will never forgive myself for letting my poor little dog go through all of that either. Save yourselves the heartache and take your pets elsewhere. ESPECIALLY if it's an emergency and you're looking for someone with actual compassion.

. Nobody looks forward to spending the last day with their pets or watching them suffer.Blue Ridge Pet Clinic, Took care of our dog on his last day with us , last minute appointment on a Saturday of all days when all the surrounding veterinarians wouldn't or were closed.show low (Alta Vista) our primary vet for over 7 years we have paid thousands to over the years for treatment and emergency situations.wouldn't unless we paid 4-500 hundreds dollars extra for emergency Dr call euthanasia service, on top of their already high price office visit .Receptionist admitted over the phone no idea when a dr would be even present or available to administer the euthanasia but we could sit and wait for unknown amount of time, when I said so it's all about the money, Receptionist replied yes unfortunately, Ridiculous if you ask me. Highly recommend Blue Ridge Pet Clinic in Pinetop for all your pets needs.

Alta Sierra is absolutely the best veterinary clinic. Dr. Ochoa is the best. She and the staff are attentive, concerned, caring and compassionate. I have no hesitations about referring this clinic to anyone with fur babies.

Callie's first visit was during a severe thunderstorm and she was very nervous. The techs and Dr Ochoa were very comforting and soothing to her throughout her exam and vaccinations. I'm very happy with the professionalism the entire staff showed.
