“Alta Sierra Vet Clinic is absolutely great to do business.
When traveling and needing help for our cat, Karl, Alts Sierra treated us as though we were part of their community.
Welcoming us as though we were regular patients.
The service received were very professional and fair priced!
Would recommend to anyone needing a veterinarian.
Very pleased!

“Pet Allies is a much needed resource on the mountain. The spay and neuter clinic prices are extremely fair, and the staff are super courteous and kind. My dog is a nervous pee-er and he sprayed urine everywhere and they were so kind and understanding. He came through his procedure just fine, and it was obvious they care about my pet's comfort, as they looked at me like I was a terrible person when I declined pain meds for my dog (he needed to hurt a little so he would slow down and not pull his stitches - he's crazy). Overall I am extremely happy with Pet Allies.
The only two reasons I don't give 5 stars, is I feel the system isn't perfectly clear. They charged me, took the money from my account, I thought I had paid in full. Then my dog weighed more than I thought and they charged me another $100! I've worked in vet clinics, this is completely fair, but I feel like it needs to be mentioned when you drop your pet off. Luckily they worked with me, and I paid $50 the day I picked him up and $50 the next day when my paycheck cleared. It could have been a bad situation though. The second reason they don't get 5 stars is they charge to install a microchip and give you paperwork to register the number - but they don't warn that it's a $50 a year subscription fee. We live in an impoverished area - a lot of the people getting their dog microchipped can't activate it. So what's the point of paying to get it?”
“Alta Sierra was absolutely wonderful! As a brand new client bursting through their doors they openly welcomed me in with emergency treatment for my dog. The staff was genuinely compassionate and helped me understand what happened to my dog was not preventable or curable. I was so impressed. They were a true blessing on a very difficult day.”
