Overpriced. Rude service. Unavailable staff often. Poorly posted (or not at all) rules and abrasively enforced. Stay elsewhere. MWR in general on this post is terrible. It’s a shame.

Had a great time and enjoyed the view. Far enough back that you are not bothered by day to day base activities. Plenty of wildlife to see.

This is really a nice Fam Camp located on Fort Huachuca, SE Airizona. It is right outside Sierra Vista, Az which is a nice town with all your big box stores. Currently it is about 25% full here. All full hookup. Some sites have shade. As you can see, I have a shade cloth on my awning for the morning sun. They have a real nice laundry room here. You do need a military ID to get on post where the RV resort is located. Apache Flats. The post offers a lot of hiking trails, and of course PX and commissary. A lot of wildlife, be alert to the Havelinas. If you do not might the 6am bugles and bugles through the day with helicopter flights at night, you will love it here. You are about 45 minutes from Tombstone.

This was a well-kept military CG with plenty of rules especially regarding pets and children! FHU for $30/night. The route directions in the email have one little glitch to watch out for. The part that says, "look to the left for Rayle Rd" should actually say "turn left at Rayle Rd". The pads are all concrete with plenty of parking space. Keep an eye out for tree branches. Some sites need to be trimmed back a bit.Take some time to drive down to Bisbee and do the Copper Queen Mine tour. Not too expensive and definitely worth it. Make reservations! If you're into western shoot outs, then go over to Tombstone and get a ticket to watch the re-enactment of the "Shoot Out in the Empty Lot Near the OK Corral"! The whole town is a tourist trap for that one event.

This RV resort was great. Concrete pads were pretty level. Laundry room open 24/7.Wi-Fi wasnt great but its expected. Staff was very friendly. Neighbors were quiet and nice. $30 a night.Close to the commissary and PX. During our stay we saw many deer, javelinas, and beautiful birds. There is a playground for kids and workout area right across the wood line. Overall, great experience and would stay again.

This is our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back. We like the location - not too far from Benson or Tombstone both places we went to while we were staying at the base. Base itself is huge. The manager named john, was very efficient and took great care of us. Even called the day we were checking in to make sure everything was going well with us and that we were able to find it. Our space was very spacious and the connections were excellent. Again, all the neighbors that we met were really helpful and very friendly. That is usually the case when you're at a military RV park I have found. We did not get to the commissary but we'll catch that one on the next trip. The views around the mountains were wonderful. This place gets an 11 out of 10. One small, half surprising thing - I was out the first evening about 7:30 and it was dark okay no surprise there. I heard a funny snuffling and looked around and about 20 yards away were 10 wild pigs going through the underbrush around some bushes and trees. I understand these are called javelinas, and are common to this area. They were not threatening in any way, and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that there were people and campers around. I was simply surprised by it is all. Still, was a great great stay and again - we will absolutely come here when we're in this part of the country. Two thumbs up.

This has been the best rv experience we have ever had. The camp is quiet and clean. The hook ups are in great shape and rhe pads are spaced apart. The manager was responsive to our needs. I give this place my highest recommendation!

On our last of 5 days at Apache Flats RV Park at Fort Huachuca. It's probably the best military RV park/campground we've ever been to, and one of the best RV park of any type we've been to. And we've been to a lot. It's absolutely the quietest at night we've been to. Close to Kartchner Caverns, Bisbee, Tombstone and lots of beautiful spots in SE AZ. Plus all the amenities of a busy US Army post.
