“Sky Island Apartments are a great place to rent if you like to be within 10 minutes of Fort Huachuca Military base. Most of your neighbors will be enlisted military men and women and military contractors. It's fairly quiet at Sky Island. The staff here is amazing especially Sibongile Taylor. She's an all-round amazing woman and is always willing to speak to tenants here in a calm and polite manner. Ms. Taylor is very informative and helpful. 5 out of 5 stars would recommend living here if you're enlisted or a military contractor.”

“We have lived here for 4 months now and we love it here. The grounds, pool, laundry are nice and clean. Katrina the manager and her office help are very helpful. The maintenance crew is fantastic. Every time we have needed something fixed, Katrina, gets maintenance right on it. We have never had to wait longer than 24 hours for the problem to get fixed. We love the grounds, it is beautiful here!!! Our neighbors are great, no problems so far. Nice and quiet here!!!”

“Apartments are fully renovated, all utilities included, spacious, private balconies and or fenced in yards, stainless steel appliances and gorgeous! Management and Maintenance is awesome.With rent, we dont even need to cover electric- everything, I mean EVERYTHING is included with 1 single payment. :)Our family never has any issues with the property. We love it here!We keep our apartment nice and clean (never have any issues) and truly enjoy all the work that is done to the property.”

“Have lived here since 2018 and have enjoyed it. I don't mind the tiny apartment, but other people may not like the sizes. Built way back in 1984, it is not bad. Don't blame the construction on management, they did not build the place. I chose this place for reasons that suit my needs. I have some really nice neighbors, and have also had nightmare neighbors a couple years ago. You never know what you're going to get.My biggest concern is that the rent keeps going up to a point where people may end up homeless (might end up being me). This is an owner and head of the management company thing. It is not those who work in the office fault, they just work here. The owners do not understand that there are a lot of citizens in Sierra Vista that only make minimum wage or less. This small city does not have options. Where 5 years ago one could afford the rent, it is now next to impossible to make ends meet. They don't realize that raising the rent by 25 percent can ruin people. My job is not paying me anything extra. The owners think that we are Phoenix or other major cities in the US. So, my major complaint is the horrendous rent amount/increase and there is no added benefits to warrant having to pay $160 more per month.Other than this huge problem, I have enjoyed living here.”
