Very very slow service. I stood at the counter waiting for probably 15-20 minutes before I was helped. Seems like this place is way under staffed. Aside from staffing issues, the chicken was salty as heck. Won't return here again.

Good service. Good for an on base establishment. Not as good as an off-base location would be.

We need change for a new once in a while in life. Now I need to change KFC to Popeye. I've enjoyed KFC almost for all my life. Of course, I was given the chance to try some different fried chicken such Church's Chicken during our travel. That's it. Now I am a little tired of KFC, but I can't make any other choice. But Recently I found the Pop-Eye on Fort Huachuca Military compound. I thought It is only for military people, but later I realized Ft. Huachuca is civilian-friendly base, but civilians need to be issued a pass. I got one through the process. It's easy. Now I can go to any part of Fort Huachuca except for Intellegence-sensitive military facility. As such, my wife and I executed a wide search of the areas we are allowed access to: We toured of all the fast-food restaurants: Burger, of course, Pizza Hut, Pop-Eye, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut...I can't name all, but there is a nice dining hall, too, where you can have a decent food on the menu. Of course you should make a reservation to be admitted. There are many other attractions, too, On the compound such as lake, Garden Canyon, Horse Riding Carrel, gym, etc. By the way you can access to many convenient stores, gas stations, etc, too co the compound. In addition to all the above, you should know all civilians on the compound are given tax-free privilige. In other words, you don't pay taxes. So for everything you pay less to buy here.

This is your normal Popeye's fast food. Very similar in size to the one in Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, in that it is a shared seating arrangement with other food vendors. Seating inside is closed due to COVID-19 health precautions. Things to consider: they typically run out of mild chicken, when they are busy they forget things (like removing pickels from sandwiches), and when they have run out of an item it will take several minutes for them to restock. I would recommend calling ahead.
