Just like the other reviews are saying, I have consistently had packages marked as delivered especially Amazon packages that never make it to my house. Have contacted USPS head office for a postal inspector to investigate. If anyone important is reading this, this specific location needs to be investigated for thefts. Their leadership has done nothing to stop this from continuing and in-fact they have done the opposite and covered up previous complaints to their local office. There is FRAUD happening here and their post master and supervisor know about it.

Just got off the phone with a very rude employee. I had two issues I was asking about, one of them concerning a piece of my certified mail that was "lost" by the post office and he just kept talking around in circles and not listening to me. Yes, I realize certified mail is not insured. That was not what I was asking. And I don't care where or how often it's scanned. I just want to know where my letter is and how the Post office managed to lose that. Because after this amount of time, it's clear it was lost. This is also what I was told by another representative of the post office via an earlier phone call to the main office -- that there was little chance my mail would be found. But this rude employee from Sierra Vista kept contradicting that, interrupting me, and seemingly making excuses for the Post Office and why it's perfectly justified in mishandling certified mail. Not only was he not helpful, but he was angry, impatient, arrogant, rude and hung up on me. I find this rudeness and lack of professionalism appalling. I don't see how someone like that gets hired when there are so many people who would love to have such a good post office job with benefits.

This is the worst Post Office ever. Since just March 26 2024 alone, living at an apartment complex by the college, I have had TWELVE failed deliveries from Amazon. I used to live here years ago and never had a single hiccup with any deliveries back then. The amount of packages lost in such a short timeframe is an unacceptably HIGH failure rate... could you imagine that anywhere else? Would you want to get on a plane that had a slightly possible chance of making it to where you intended to go a third to half of the time? People like to complain that USPS is "taxpayer funded"; USPS says they are a business which would mean they would have to be competitive, right? Well, for that high of a failure rate, they should be fired just like their peers would be in the private sector. They are cavalier and shrug. There seems to be no incentive to do squat so they must be quite comfortable.
They claim to deliver packages in my apartment mailbox, or a package locker (should be a key, often rubbed and hard to read to locate the right locker), then there is nothing is in the locker with a code if I try that area, and there is no door delivery on these missing orders. They make it a hassle to file a claim on the phone or online if your computer is outdated like mine creating even more difficulty. This many packages missing for an otherwise secure delivery (vs something left on your porch) is unacceptable and they don't give one damn, exhibiting a piss-poor attitude. I've contacted Amazon so much recently, which was great to replace many items I lost, but it's become so common, I often have to hold my breath and wonder whether I will actually get my deliveries or not and I'm sure Amazon is sick of me reporting complaints despite being a solid Prime member and Vine Voice member for many, many years. I have no car and have depended reliably on Amazon for years until now with no problems until relocating back to SV. It's not Amazon's fault.
The employees at this post office are incompetent, lazy, fraudulent (claiming delivery on items that weren't delivered, noted in places they are NOT found), and there may possibly be mail theft (which I cannot prove) -- a Federal crime. I cancelled my Prime membership tonight after losing $100 worth of things just this month -- books, small package of superglue, Japanese curry sauce, a piece of wall art, IT Cosmetics face cream (two failed attempts by USPS: one status-ed in the Amazon app as "Lost" and the replacement claiming it was "Delivered" which it wasn't... $47 alone *poof*). Cancelling Prime will mean no more access to vitamins, soap, and other things I need and have trouble getting without a car or a partner or anything to help. It's hard to live in SV with a disability and without a vehicle or someone to help if you live alone. I think all these people should be investigated and encouraged Amazon to use their analytics capabilities to see whether other end users in our zip code are also reporting similar missing deliveries so they know it's not just me.
If you are reading this and can relate, I encourage you to also give this post office hell (not that they give a crap) but also request a call from Amazon customer service on missing items and let them know so that if they choose to investigate (which I hope they will), then people might hopefully be investigated and held to account for possible fraudulent delivery reporting or the Federal crime of theft. If they can see it's MULTIPLE people in our zipcode or within certain mail delivery areas, they might be able to drill down into crappy drivers and hone in on who's being fraudulent with reporting delivery status or possibly committing theft. I also encourage you to collate all your lost orders, tracking numbers, items, and value of each failed delivery in order to file a report with the SVPD -- they will investigate. Thank you for reading.

They were scheduled to open at eleven this morning but started helping people sooner. I had an unusual request and the person who assisted me could not have been more patient, kind, helpful, and understanding. Service with a smile and I was in and out of there in just a few minutes. Such a contrast from the grumps in the PO closer to my home. I will go out of my way to head here in the future. THANK YOU!

Only inept employees are set to interact with customers. On top of being rude, ironically uninformed while remaining condescending, unlike the good old days this office will gladly accept the notion your precious parcels and letters/notices are gone forever without an atom of responsibly. It's like talking to teenagers hosting the til at a mall- because it's just a job. I've issue with this specific office the staff and management twice over lost parcels, property and legal work over the course of two relocation withing 8 years. It the least proud office by which I've had the honour of loosing important things and and no one having answers, pointing blame, passing the buck, and just generally not caring in the slightest. As warning use the mail tracking for everything to expect to pass through the Sierra Vista USPS. Their standards of operation are next to nothing. Idk if that helps sertain people being so close to the boarder. But it needs improvement desperately. Unless you plan to live and die at the address in this town, or even not, use the tracking. They just plain suck.

Every time there is supposed to be a Sunday delivery from Amazon they commit fraud and claim to have attempted to deliver the package but the door or driveway is blocked. Cameras that monitor the driveway and entry show no attempt is even made. I've tried the post master, USPS IG, and Amazon. It seems like this would be a breach of good faith on the contract they have with Amazon, disappointing to me as a customer, and fraud/time theft on the part of the mail carrier who is being paid for the delivery attempt and instead falsified the record by claiming a delivery attempt was made when in fact it was not.

This post office screwed up a time sensitive letter 1 mailed it off 4 days before the due date and they received it 5 days after the cut off. Needless to say I didn't receive my lump sum retirement. Thank you USPS.

I have never met a more incompetent set of thieves in my life. I really hate that everything has to go through them. The carriers open every box and package that you receive, and then proceed to steal your packages if it’s something that interests them. All while they tell you that your package was accidentally placed in the wrong “community box”. This is awful and very frustrating. I was told to contact my shipper for another shipment as if it’s that easy to do. Avoid them at all costs if you can.
