“Rene is amazingly talented and trustworthy.TL;DR: My 2024 BMW M4 developed water spots within a couple of months that no one could get out. Neither my BMW dealership nor my implicitly trusted local detailer (more than a few visits). But Rene did. The hood, the trunk - everywhere. Not only that, but he also repaired a few scratches on her little spoiler of all places, driver’s side door, and side panels beneath the doors. (Protective cover should’ve prevented these). He also buffed her out (I hope that’s the right term). She looks better and shinier than she did the day I picked her up from the dealership. She looks absolutely phenomenal. Stunning. This isn’t hyperbole. It’s the truth. If I could figure out how to post photos, I would.I rarely write reviews, but needed to share that I can’t recommend Rene/VIP Detailing highly enough. He’s professional and friendly; he immediately puts you at ease, goes the extra mile, and is amazingly talented at his craft. You can absolutely trust him with your car.Full original too-long review:My new car developed water spots within only a couple of months of my owning her (2024 BMW M4). I was heartbroken and furious. I was told a protective coating had been put on her. I didn’t expect it to protect her from everything, but I did expect it from water spots and very light scratches. (I’m not ignorant of the quality of Tucson (and Marana/Oro Valley) roads (they’re the pits) - but I do my best to drive only on well-paved or newly paved roads, and I also check the AZ Dept of Transportation website for the status of the construction work on I10). About 90 percent of the time, I wash her gently after a drive and put a cover on her.I brought her to the dealership and they attempted to buff them out, no luck; I hired my wonderful local car detailer whom I trust implicitly and they sent a specialist out out who worked diligently for about four hours and no luck. Additionally, I have a maintenance package with them, which includes bi-weekly detail washes and two or three full details per year - and I had one since the discovery of these spots. I spoke with the owner who said that he feared the water spots were etched into the paint. Again, I was heartbroken and furious. I was afraid something drastic like repainting was in my future. I purchased an appearance warranty through my BMW dealership. Within one day of my filing a claim, Rene called wanting to set up an appointment. It wasn't really fair of me, but after all of the effort that others had put into her, I thought this would be a waste of time. Also, I was incredibly fearful that something would happen to her - I’m leery of warranties/insurance because of past experiences of sub-par restoration/care.But Rene got them out. The hood, the trunk - everywhere. Not only that, but he also repaired a few scratches on her little spoiler of all places, driver’s side door, and side panels beneath the doors.
