The Empire Ranch Foundation offers a unique opportunity to experience a real western ranch. Visiting the ranch is free, and it features beautiful views of rolling grasslands and surrounding mountain ranges. Campsites are available throughout the property, with some visitors opting to bring their own travel trailers. The ranch also features a gift shop and self-guided tours, allowing visitors to explore the well-preserved historic buildings and learn about the area's rich heritage. While the ranch may not always be open, the surrounding conservation area offers ample opportunities for birdwatching, hiking, and dispersed camping. The foundation also hosts special events, such as fundraising dinners, where visitors can enjoy a taste of the western lifestyle and interact with the last generation of the ranch's owners.

Went to Empire Ranch to perform a firefly count. Beautiful farm land with incredible views of the surrounding mountain scape.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Walking through the house was amazing, feeling, and seeing the way people once lived on that ranch. The house and the grounds are full of history. The walking trail to the right of the main house was quite quaint, and a nice little stroll.

Beautiful historic ranch. Always is a great setting for a photo session. Never disappoints. The caretakers do an awesome job of keeping the property looking it's best.
