Hillcrest is one of my go to courses. The staff is amazing and the course is always in good shape. The prices are reasonable. Most of the time the course moves pretty well and you do not have long delays.

Great course for a high handicapper, average golfer or family golf to have fun. Friendly staff. Course is in moderate condition and greens are very slow and bunkers need some serious love and attention.

Worst condition course I’ve ever played in all of Arizona. Greens are like shag carpet that’s been chewed up by dogs. Slowest bumpiest ever and it’s not even aeration season. Just their normal condition. Impossible to putt. Practically fraudulent for them to charge $60 for this nonsense. Never coming back. Avoid…

Used to really like this course but would not play again. Course was all torn up with one hole completely closed and many others where the tee boxes were closed so you had to hit from the fairway. All courses go through repairs but charging full price for that experience was unacceptable.

This course was great at one time. They have really let it run down. Cart paths are horrible. Ball washers have old nasty water. Some ball washers are broken. Drinking water jugs are broken. The fairways and greens were decent. The tee boxes were inconsistent, some haven't been cut in days. The sand traps were horrible. They were either soaked or hard packed. Not sure if we will return, sad. The cart barn guy was great.

Fairways and greens were in great shape. If you play in the bunkers and rough, you probably won’t like it. Golf carts were the fastest in AZ. Will play here again.

Fairways and tee boxes are in good shape. Greens are starting to roll a little faster and are in good shape.

Fun layout! Tee boxes, greens, and fairways were in great condition. Staff was friendly. Only downside is there’s no beverage cart. However, I enjoyed my round and would play here again.

The condition is 3 Star. The layout is 5 Star! Gas carts. Poor bunker condition on all holes. Fairways wide open and greens rolling decent. Pace was good. No cart girl. I wouldn't pay more than $35 anytime. The layout was an excellent challenge. Fairways good shape except for a couple holes that had diet patches. The recent rain has definitely saved this course.

Love the layout! Played here for years but gets worse each year! Greens great! Fairways have lots of no grass spots! Bathrooms need help! Obviously it’s a cash cow for the owners who are putting Very little back into the course! Sad deal!

We played a foursome on this track yesterday. It’s terribly maintained. Okay it’s summer and I get it but this course is relegated to perpetual mismanagement. You may be able to find a worst course but you’ll never pay more to play it!
