My experience wasn't too good at Sun Devil Auto. First of all, it was my mistake that I was there. My appointment was supposed to be at Sun Cities Tire and Auto. What would have been morally correct would have been for you to have given me my coupon back and just told me that Sun Cities Tire and Auto was only three blocks away "on the same street". Instead you just took their business. Secondly, I came in looking for an oil change and a tire rotation. Well, you told me that you couldn't do the tire rotation because the tires had over 15,000 miles. The tires have 30,000 miles. You offered to sell me four brand new tires for over $1000.00. You said that Arizona had a law that forbid you from rotating tires if they have over 15,000 miles on them. Well, so far, I have found no such law. And, if there were such a law, then all tires should be sold in Arizona with that mileage limitation. My tires were sold with a mileage limitation of 60,000 not 15,000. To be honest, I don't feel too comfortable with the service at Sun Devil Auto.

I am amending my previous review. I took my car to Sun Devil Auto in Sun City West for an oil change. As a result, I was told that I need shocks and struts and new tires. I knew that I needed new tires but had no indication that I needed shocks and struts, as my car was not showing any sign that they were needed. I took my car for a second opinion and was told that the shocks and struts are fine. In addition, I asked the rep at Sun Devil what they would charge for a safety inspection. I was told that it was done when they changed the oil. I asked if they had checked the belts and hoses and was told yes. The second opinion shop confirmed the need new tires. They also informed me that my car needs new rear brakes, which makes sense due to the age of my vehicle.
If the Sun Devil had done the safety inspection as I was told they did, they would have detected the need for rear brakes. I was given false information by the Sun Devil shop, the upsell attempt for shocks and struts, which my car does not need, was despicable and unethical.

Highly recommend Sun Devil Auto for ANY and ALL of your vehicles needs. Called them to get my car serviced found out had blown water pump and they repaired it immediately. Having my car back to me same day. The service writers and techs are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and I will continue to do business with them !!! Forget taking your car to dealerships that over charge and don’t deliver… Thank you Sun Devil Auto
