I have been a patron here and other Walgreens in my area for over a decade now. It's the employees that make or break my experience and deem whether I return to one particular Walgreens location over another. At this location, I truly appreciate the extra mile a particular new employee has taken here. They've been knowledgeable, kind, genuine and extremely welcoming. Thank you Kris C., for your sunny and bright attitude while you helped me problem solve. It's so nice to know there are people that truly care like you at the Walgreens in my area. I really appreciate the extra mile you went for me and my family. Welcome to the neighborhood, Kris! It's good to know you'll be at my neighborhood store.

Thanksgiving day wife had medical emergency. Could not find a pharmacy within miles that was open. At 7:30 am Fri I was 1st in line at pharmacy. The pharmacist had to contact MD to adjust RX to available doses and had RX at 10am . This is just one of multiple extra efforts. The pharmacy has done to keep us alive.

Another bad Walgreens experience. I was paying for a prescription about 5:00 pm and because I counted out $1.00 bills instead of just handing over a $20. the person helping me went to help a car that just pulled up to the window. It would have take 15 seconds longer. They were rude and it was not the first time.

Absolutely the worst customer service at the pharmacy. You do not expect to be lied to by a medical professional. They made several mistakes in filling my Rx and then lied about the status. This Rx was for a MAJOR infection and their actions delayed treatment and unnecessary trauma (physical and mental).

Walgreens is price gouging! They want $35 for 50 surgical masks that were $10 in Feb. Hand sanitizer was also about 3 times a fair price.Shame, shame, shame.

I thought I would make this Walgreens my pharmacy of choice, since it's relatively close to my house. That was a mistake! I had taken a scrip in to be filled. I was called later by the pharmacy cashier (Dina). She left a message. I returned the call shortly after receiving the message. After phone contact tag with four people, I was actually connected with Dina. She advised me that they weren't capable of filling my prescription, so she took it upon herself to contact my doctor. This was before awaiting or receiving my return call. The right thing for her to do, was to await my call, and a conversation with me about my options. By not following this proper customer service courtesy, she arbitrarily made the decision to convince my doctor to reduce my pain medication dosage by 25%. Because they (in my opinion) are not a real full pharmacy that could fulfill my doctor ordered prescription. My doctor mistakenly thought I was going through CVS, which is a real pharmacy that is able to fulfill doctor ordered prescriptions. As a result of the pharmacy cashiers arbitrary actions, I was not able to have a comfortable good nights sleep. I'm pretty sure my doctor based my original dosage on my size, and everything else he knows about me. Somehow, she felt that she should go behind my back and convince my doctor to reduce my dosage, just to get the sale. But, as a result, she has lost all future pharmacy business from me, as well as other sales, because I usually ended up buying items from the store. I know I am just one person, so she probably doesn't care, but I am more than willing and able to share my experience with family and friends. Walgreens loss is CVS's (or Safeway, or Frys, or...) gain.

I would give it a negative star..... Called Walgreens Pharmacy located at 19003 N R H Johnson Blvd. Sun City West, AZ 85375 to inquire my prescription status. The woman came to the phone was loud and rude. She repeatedly says insurance company made mistakes. Then I said you guys send me an email.... she said let me check again.... and said your prescription will be ready in two hours. I asked what happened and I have questions regarding another prescription..... She abruptly hang up!

I went to this store at about 8 am today. I wanted to buy a pack of cigarettes. The clerk wouldn't sell them to me because I didn't bring my ID. I am 65. To make it worse, she seemed happy to refuse my purchase.

No stars!!! I called this morning to have a prescription refilled today. When I called the automated voice told me it would be ready at 10:00 the following day. That wouldn't work since my flight was leaving early afternoon today. I called to talk to a pharmacist and on the transfer call was clicked off. I called again at 10:15 and the woman asked how soon I would like it. I said 20 minutes. Then she said there is no way it will be ready that fast and that the wait time was an hour. I said okay. She said see you at 11:30. I got there at 11:44 and the lady told me it is not going to be ready until 10:00 the following day. I explained how I called and talked to someone and they expedited it to 11:30 today. She said I'm not sure who you talked to but I can have it ready in 25 minutes. I explained I can't wait due to flight. She said 25 minutes it would take. It is 8 pills!!! I had to leave without my prescription!

5 expletives! ZERO STARS! Ordered refills but got no notification there was a problem refilling one. My husband was told when he got there that my blood pressure med was on back order and they would have some at the end of the month. I only had a few days left so I called and asked where I could get some now. He said it was a statewide problem and could not guarantee when some may be shipped. Call my doctor to prescribe a new medication was the only solution. I got a refill at CVS. They have not had any problem with their shipments. When I called and spoke to the head pharmacist at Walgreens he defended his employee's actions and said he would have told me the same thing even though he now knows that Fry's has the medication I've be taking for years with no problem. He informed me he knows more about medications than my doctor does and its no problem to change meds even when you're taking more than one. elderly folks should not have problems getting our blood pressure meds because one pharmacy has a problem with their shippers or whatever the real problem is.
