About Sun City South Golf Course
Sun City South Golf Course is a popular destination for golfers in the Sun City community, offering an enjoyable experience with its 18-hole layout, driving range, and practice areas. The course has a great clubhouse built recently and features friendly staff who are accommodating to visitors. Golfers can enjoy a small food service counter with cold beer and sandwiches, as well as shaded seating to relax after a round. While the course conditions are generally good, some reviews mention issues with wet areas, particularly on the front nine, which can affect playability. However, the back nine has been noted to be drier and more enjoyable. Despite occasional wet spots, players appreciate the course's wide-open layout and slick greens, which challenge golfers of all skill levels. Rental clubs are available for a reasonable fee, and many find the prices for greens fees and snacks to be affordable compared to other courses. Whether for a casual round of golf or practice, Sun City South Golf Course is recommended as a must-play for anyone visiting the area. The course is especially appealing for those looking for a local golf experience with excellent practice facilities, making it a favorite among both residents and visitors.
