I dont like to leave "Negative" reviews but I feel its necessary for my experience today. As I was shopping I heard all 3 employees that were working making fun of other customers that were shopping in the store. They were being extremely rude and talking very loud about the people shopping the young girl working being the loudest. In this day and age you never know who is together/family or listening. Management needs to speak with the employees working today regarding how to be a decent human being and understand what customer service is. They need to do better no excuses.

Was in shopping this morning, there was one other person in the store with us as well as 2 employees in the store area. I found a cake pan, Pyrex in my pattern, it was $8, with the sale today it would have been $4, I found it in the dishes room right across the way from the cashier. I carried it around for a while, I was so super excited about it. We were going to walk down to the east end of the shop, I would call it the "boutique area". So I asked the cashier, a man if I could set the cake pan with him while I went down to look. He said yes, no problem. I was gone 3-5 minutes, picked up a couple of other things and went back to pay, we still saw no other customers. But when I got back to check out my Pyrex cake pan had disappeared into thin air. He could not recall it, or me asking him to keep it (we actually chatted, how could he forget in 3 minutes). He made a couple of lame excuses about where it could have gone, then said he was very tired and didn't even know what he was doing. This is shady and such poor customer service, while we have shopped there for a few years, this is my limit. Beware, if they realized they priced something too low, they will just not sell it to you and claim they never saw it. Very disappointing.

Please display your American Flag properly.A Veteran recently (and politely) asked your store to not use the flag as a curtain. The first clerk obliged the respectful request and the flag was taken down, folded and put in a display case for sale. However, when the Veteran came into the store again, he saw that the flag was out of the case and again being used as a curtain. This time, a different clerk did not oblige the request and at last notice, your store has continued to display the flag in a disrespectful manner.

The thrift stores maintained by Valley View Community Food Bank are sustained by contributions of goods from the public. The stores themselves are supported by volunteers and some paid staff. It is important to note that all funds taken in by the stores go directly to purchase food for the food bank. The stores offer a variety of household items and clothing, and a great deal of good quality furniture.
