“My wife and decided to look for a new/different insurance agent several months ago. We had never had a claim with the existing homeowner's insurance or any previous homeowner's insurance company but we were not happy with the lack of communication and feeling of being nothing more than a number whenever we did reach out to the agent with questions.
We were not specifically searching for a Farmers Insurance agent. We were less concerned with the company than we were with the agent. After calling several different agents representing several different companies, we decided to meet with Marc and discuss our options. We were searching for an agent who offered suggestions, was concerned for our best interest, was personable, and understood the insurance we needed.
We found all of this in Marc Sollee's office. Everyone in his office welcomed us, was very prompt in answering questions, and was extremely professional while maintaining a personal, friendly atmosphere. Marc was very knowledgeable and offered us the policy we needed. We never felt "over-sold" or "under-sold". We left feeling we were able to purchase the exact insurance that we needed.
As time has gone by, we have expanded our coverage to include more than the original homeowner's policy with which we started. We couldn't be happier with an agent than we are with Marc. He is very responsive in answering questions. Each time we have added something, Marc has been prompt in delivering the necessary paperwork and answering any questions we have had. He is by far the best agent with which we have ever worked. His advice has been spot on. We sleep better knowing we have the necessary insurance with an agent that cares about us. Five stars is not enough.”

In the end, State Farm provided a better rate for better coverage so we are satisfied. We cannot comment on the claim process yet but based on what we have seen so far, I anticipate that will also be a positive experience.
