Loyal customer to this vet All Star Animal Hospital have spent Hundreds and hundreds $$$ had an appointment today was late with the dog having a bad rash and getting worse. Little girl at the desk that cancels the appointment after driving 13 miles to get there asked the little girl at the desk to get the Doctor she said she couldn't do that. So we left and went to Westbrook Animal Hospital on 91st & Union Hills 3 blocks from us who were concerned for the dog not their schedule.

Compassionate, professional & knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Matt and tech staff, you have my highest recommendation as an honest and caring veterinary team. I appreciate you all and I am comforted knowing that my pet’s diagnosis and prognosis were expertly addressed by the veterinarian without the need for extraneous, expensive tests.

We are new to the are and made an appointment with All-Star. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped me get my dogs records from his previous vet with no hassle. They were understanding of one of my dogs auto-immune condition. We saw Dr Erickson and he was so nice!!

We recently moved here to Arizona in June. Our 2 multpoo needed shots updated and a growth on our oldest. We were able to schedule in 3 weeks and we didn't try until November after all the snow birds came back. We had a great experience and the dogs were well taken care of. We know have our new Veterans for life.

One star (I wish I could give Zero stars) I've never had such horrible experiences in my entire life. First series of visits was for my 16 year old cat. Had a running nose and sneezing. The doctor gave her a shot and said she would be fine. 2 weeks later, he gave her an antibiotic. (nothing was working) after 6 weeks, I brought her back only for them to say she had a tumor in her nose and they could do nothing about it. A week later we had to put her down. (a friend of mine said her cat had the same thing, but if caught early, they can remove the tumor and save the cat from a painful death.) Second visit: Our entire visit was awful. The Vet tech was rude and seemed put out to have to weigh my cat. After I took my cat out of his carrier, she threw the cat carrier on the bench, scaring my dog, as he was sitting on the bench and it hit him. When the Vet came in to talk with me about my dog and cat, she was extremely dismissive about my pets previous medical records from their vet in WI (we moved here last year). It was like she didn't read their histories or even care about them. When she gave my dog his oral vaccine, half of it squirted out the side of his mouth and went all over the table, which she didn't wipe up or even notice... She left the two used syringes on the counter when she left. When the vet tech brought my cat back from bloodwork, my cats entire chest was soaked in Rubbing Alcohol! (which is poisonous if ingested) It took 5 paper towels to dry my cat off. When I asked her about the Rubbing alcohol, she said it's normal. In all the years I've had cats, never once have I had a cat soaked or even wet when they've returned. (My cat has kidney failure, so if it licked up the wetness it would have been so bad!) When the vet tech came back with my dog, she threw the leash on the ground instead of handing it to me, blurted out instructions for medication and then left, slamming the door... not telling me if I was supposed to wait for the results of bloodwork or if the appointment was over. The vet tech and vet were very rude, short and dismissive. I've never had such a horrible experience in my life. I do not recommend this vet clinic. (Next Day Follow up:) Follow up - the Vet called today with Bloodwork results. She kept called my cat a She even after I corrected her. She admitted multiple times that she didn't write things down yesterday, during our appointment and that she forgot this and that.... She made recommendations for a medication that is a nerve agent for my cats arthritis. My cat walks fine, so medication is not needed at this time. (again, something she failed to note the day before)

AWFUL! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE!! Starting with the front desk staff who appear to have lackluster personalities and little empathy for you or your pets to the lack of empathy or concern from the doctors themselves, this is NOT a good place to take your furry kids. I have never NOT received a followup call a day or two after a major medical procedure on my pets from the multiple other vets I have had. Just to see how my pet was feeling and doing. Just a reminder that hey we care about your pet etc.. Ever. Additionally, in person followups were always scheduled by previous vets to ensure no complications. My cat had 10 teeth pulled due to severe dental disease. No one called to see how she was doing nor was the cat scheduled for a followup exam. I contacted the vet and was told that they stopped doing the followup exam and they had us on their schedule to do an over the phone followup in a few days. HOWEVER, if I hadn't heard from them in a few days to call them back. Really? So NO physical exam and I need to call THEM to remind them they hadn't called me yet? I was told that at the phone exam to let them know of any problems the cat is having. Cat owners know that cats hide problems. This cat had 10 rotting teeth and it took a thorough exam to find it. Does this vet honestly think I'll be able to determine if sutures are healing properly or if infection hasn't set in? I am incensed at the quality of this vet. Absolutely terrible. If the owners aren't aware of how their staff is running the front of the office I hope they read this. I am going elsewhere.

I moved to Surprise over 4 years ago. I have not found a veterinarian or an animal hospital that I am comfortable with until now. First, they recommended an exceptional groomer to me, Lisa with mobile services called Gone Groomin'. Then I called them this week for an ear infection that Lisa advised me needed medical attention. Dr. Ericksen was so pleasant and fast with his care and then answered all my questions so carefully. I appreciate the connection between the vets and my groomer because I know nothing will be overlooked between the two of them. I love my dogs and these people are so knowledgeable and honest and kind, I feel a great burden of concern has been lifted from my shoulders now. You will feel that way too.

I was disappointed. When I called for a well-cat exam after adopting, the receptionist told me I shouldn't be feeding my cat grain-free food. I thought it odd because that was contrary to everything I'd read. The appointment went well, and the vet seemed caring. (Because of COVID-19, I wasn't able to go inside or meet the vet, but we spoke on the phone.) I requested a bill and report that could be submitted to the insurance company, and they were emailed to me the next day as promised. Unfortunately, they were not not in a format that could be read when printed. I called to request a PDF file and was told it couldn't be provided but a paper copy would be sent. (I'm still waiting for that, 3-1/2 weeks later.) During the conversation, I requested that the report be corrected, as it indicated that I had been advised to not feed my cat grain-free food, when in fact the vet specifically told me that grain-free food is absolutely fine for cats (but not dogs). The receptionist insisted that the report could not be changed, even if there was an error. She was somewhat rude, and I'm pretty sure she was the same person that gave out incorrect advice when she didn't know what she was talking about. In any event, I'm sorry the visit ended on a sour note, and I will not be returning there, even though it would be the most convenient office.

Yeah there 2.6 makes sence. No compassion here. Yet another vet who only cares about appointments not your sick animals

All-Star came highly recommended by a friend. My dog has a spot on her foot that had us very concerned. Even as a new patient, they got us in quickly, eased our concerns, and took great care of us. Even with the unusual circumstances now with COVID, they are able to provide fantastic customer service. Their pricing is extremely reasonable as well. Finding a vet we trusted had been a concern for my wife and I. That concern is gone as well. We greatly appreciate all the staff at All-Star.

My dog Sesame loves this vet. I have been taking my dog here since I got her. The staff is always so friendly, and the vet really cares. My dog has had some health issues and the vet made sure to give me plenty of options, and really work to get her treated. They do their best to fit her in when they can if she needed to be seen right away. When we pull it up she crawls over me to trying to hurry and get out to see them. My dog has had her spray done here, several injections/shots, and other uncomfortable procedures but she still loves it. I think that she loves them soo much says a lot about how they try to make the dogs feel comfortable.

VERY happy with All-Star Animal Hospital! I took my cat in for an ear infection, a dental evaluation, and because he's been losing weight. The staff and vet were super friendly and, most importantly, they took great care of my cat! They gave him some ear drops, ran a blood panel, and even scraped off a bit of plaque (at no extra cost!) during the exam. I got my cat's results back today, and I took him in just yesterday! I also found the prices to be quite reasonable.
