Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days. Sara Roush has been amazing every time I go in. She always remembers me and the paint I previously purchased. She always goes out of her way to make sure I have what I need and sets realistic expectations. What a gem.

First time coming here I have no clue or knowledge about paint I had the names and numbers of the paint me not having my glasses on was very difficult to find them unfortunately the girl that works didn't bother helping me out after I told her I did not have my glasses and I couldn't read the numbers on the tags instead of another customer that was there ended up helping me out this is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced ?

Walked in the store and there where 3 workers talking by the counter, not one greeted me. I said Good morning to them and not no one responded. I walked over to see the color samples, one walked by, didn’t acknowledge me with a can I help you or anything.I then walked the store to see the prices on the 5 gallon paint and another one walked by and she also didn’t acknowledge me. I didn’t see any prices for the paint so I walked back to get a few sample cards, to take home. I was there for a few minutes and felt they didn’t want my business so ended walking out.I’ll definitely not be shopping there again or recommending anyone to go there.

Met with my consultant prior to having my house painted next week. Other than Bell Road being the usual congested kluge, it was good. Consultant knew her stuff, and I'm looking forward to seeing her color suggestions on my walls.

This place has very good paint...and some very well educated people running the outfit. Thank you Mr. Edwards for leaving a legacy of quality employees as well as products.

The quality of the product speaks for itself. The problem is trying to find qualified individuals in the various stores that can relate to you the possible combinations of colors you could use. The tools on the website are very good I wish they could translate this to the in-store help.

I have painted A LOT of houses and walls over the past 3 decades and being from the Pacific NW, the main brands I stuck with were Sherwin Williams and Miller Paint (only because they took over the Kelly-Moore paint, which I still maintain is the best paint I have ever used). But in moving to the SW, Miller Paint is not down here AND the new home we bought had leftover cans of Dunn Edwards, so I decided to continue using what they had used on our home and bought more of the Dunn Edwards paint, to repaint the entire house. Wow, what a mistake! While I must admit that their customer service is beyond excellent (free paint samples, finding paint at one of their stores and having it mixed and delivered to the store nearest me, just with a phone call, follow up phone calls, etc), the actual paint itself has caused me a lot of grief. First, I have never seen paint separate so quickly as this paint does! Second, the cans rust and drop fragments into the paint within a month of sealing up a partially used can and reopening it (and yes, it is stored in proper conditions for paint). Third, the color just never turns out true, on the walls. In fact, I was having such difficulty with colors (went through 15 paint color samples) that I even broke down and bought their sticky paint swatch sheets and started using those, thinking I was doing something wrong or it was just the lighting in our house. I have never had this difficulty before! Fourth, I am seeing a lot of peeling. Granted, I can't blame the Dunn Edwards paint 100% for this, as I don't know how the walls were prepped, as this was a 15 yr old home we recently purchased. What I do know is that I walked into a freshly painted home with Dunn Edwards Spartawall and within a few weeks, I started noticing peeling at the bottoms of the wall, by the baseboards, and when pulled on, paint peeled in huge strips, halfway up the walls. Could it have been excessive humidity in the house or improper prep from when the house was built 15 years ago? Possibly, but it is a high end home in a high end subdivision with a high end builder that built the entire subdivision, so I doubt the improper prep argument. (Plus, none of my neighbors have experienced this.) Since it's the desert and it was before the monsoon season and we didn't have a humidifier, I doubt the humidity argument. (Both of these reasons were given to me by the manager of the store when I brought in a huge amount of palm sized sections of peeled off paint and pictures.) My personal opinion is that the original paint was not Dunn Edwards but when Dunn Edwards Spartawall was applied to it last year from the past homeowners, it created a reaction that caused ALL the paint layers to lift off the drywall. But, this fourth reason is a little weak, I will concede to that. However, reasons 1 to 3 are enough to keep me from ever buying Dunn Edwards paint again. It's back to Sherwin Williams for me. NOTE: This was happening with BOTH their Exquisite brand and their Spartawall brand. And at this point, I am staring down repainting my entire house due to the color still not being what I was hoping for, all the while worrying that I'm going to get even more lifting/peeling when I switch to Sherwin Williams' paint. I do want to reiterate that Dunn-Edwards customer service is literally one of the best experiences I have had in any paint store over the past few decades. They truly care about helping you out. But I just can't overlook the quality of the paint for superior customer service.

Looking for a paint color for my kitchen. They had quite a few to choose from but it would have helped to have someone assist me with it but no one offered

I needed to have a paint color matched that was from a competitor and I was amazed at the lack of hesitancy to do this task at this location. I remember a time when this was unheard of in the paint business as the equipment that mixed the tints wasn't as good as today. Anyway, because of past weather issues in Texas and this Covid thing causing transportation, Sara (The Boss Woman, LOL) found some base and Alex came as close as possible to a match in the mixing. The staff (Sara, Amanda) I dealt with at this store was extremely helpful and their customer service skills were amazing. I will most definitely continue to shop there.
