NEVER BUY HERE, especially the Meat, Disgusting, I bought meat on 7/27, and it said it is "Sell Buy" date of 7/29... i took the meat out from the fridge, and it was inflated, signs of Bacteria, these people and company dont care. never coming back to this place ever!

The service there has gone from bad to...abysmal at best. Customer service used to be good, but not now. The cashier doesnt ring up half my purchases. I had a migraine starting and didnt notice I didnt have my food for dinner and several other items. The people behind me got it without the cashier even trying to come and get me. I'm on oxygen for pete's sake & i was not moving fast. Angela, in CS got abrupt, not very patient, then sent me to the app that doesnt have what she said. Of course not, it's mainly for delivery & pickups. The pharmacy has great employees, but their texting, calling when a script is ready no longer is used. Check the app. Really? The app doesn't have them, either. The employees have become complacent, don't seem to want to be there, so I don't have to be there, either except for my as they are the only ones who actually do their jobs.

I put two stars because of my experirnce at checkout. The employee at register name was Blake. Blake was not welcoming. Did not say hello, how are you, did you find everything ok, have a good day- nothing. Blake seemed like he didnt want to be working & clearly didnt care about customer service. The only thing I heard was when he asked the manager if he could go on break. He was scanning slow as well. I usually dont come to this location & now I know why. Why does our younger generation lack in great customer service?

Very disappointed in Safeway's customer service. I got in line to check out only 1 cashier working the register. I waited 5 minutes then asked the employee who was watching over the self checkout area if there was another checker? He just shrugged his shoulders and said no. I waited another 8 minutes before another checker finally showed up and checked out my groceries. The employee did come over to help with the bagging and I stated to him 15 minutes to check out my groceries and pay you $110 was somewhat ridiculous and his only comment was "Yah I know isn't that something" After spending 40 years in retail and 10 years at Safeway as a manager I know what a smart ass comment is. Very surprised and disappointed in their reaction especially when I drive past a Walmart Sprouts Costco Bashes and a Frys grocery stores just to get to Safeway.

Shout out to the cake decorator in this store. She keep her head held high when a customer was screaming at her because she didn't have an item in stock. I have never seen anyone treated so badly. Customer service was well done to a customer that didn't deserve her kindness. What has this world come to when we can treat people the way this person did.

Every time I come to this store, it's always clean & well-stocked. They're still keeping one entrance/exit closed & they have the sign there which is handy. I can pretty much always get what i need at this location as it's well-stocked. The people who work here are also nice.

They have such a good looking produce department here. I want to give Ravon in thr meat department a huge big thank you! I am so scared of the morning meat guy. Ravon tells me to tell her exactly what I wpuld like as she is there to work! She is such a sweetheart! So we settled on 12 chicken breasts. 2 full breasts per pack giving me 6 packages. She actually ended up giving me 1 full breast per pack so I had 12 packages! Hahaha Bless her heart. Her kindness amd hard work was awesome. I was bragging about her to the checkout how great she was and even the checkout gal and the bagger agreed how awesome and special she is.

No ATM at the gas station ATM inside the store is broken and you must have the coupon with you in order to get the discount even though the cashier pulled up the coupon set ups are you need this coupon and wouldn't let me use that coupon to pay for an item

I sometimes order delivery from here cause they carry a certain burger brand that you can only get from Albertsons or Safeway. I noticed whenever I get a delivery order, I have a few items that are expired or going to be expired in a few days. Curious to see if its just my shoppers, I went into this location myself to get some food. Low and behold, there are tons of expired food or about to be expired food on the shelf. If you shop here or have a shopper shopping for you, please let them know to carefully check the expiration dates. I'm not sure why Safeway doesn't have anyone checking the shelf like other grocery stores do, but I will be submitting a complaint to corporate as this seems to be a common issue at this store.

The weirdest experience ever. Went through the line and Brandon 4th assistant was helping me. He didn't even acknowledge me. I said hey Boss hows it going. He didn't even respond. Rang up all my food $55 worth. Handed me a receipt. No words exchanged. Wow this guy really must hate white people or something! Unreal!!

Started shopping at Safeway after being a loyal Fry's customer for a few months, after moving to AZ from a region of the country that has neither store. Safeway might not be as large in size as the Fry's across the street, nor do they have as wide of a variety of goods as. But Safeway definitely has a better deli. I prefer their choice of sliced sandwich meats and cheeses to what's available elsewhere. The men's restroom at this Safeway location is almost always a little on the gross side. With urine on the toilet seats almost guaranteed.
